i associate the smell of this oil blend with bath foam. It's bath foam on my skin from start to finish

seems like your hubby is resilient to the power of Iago. I couldn't have worn it even for half an hour
-
Hand of Glory - is this peppery beeswax scent that simulates a burning flame, as if your skin caught aflame. The drydown is delish

Pumpkin Latte 2011 has the roasted coffee bean smell, but it blends in with the pumpkin, yet it's not that difficult to distinguish it.

This is such a disappointment for me! When applied, it smells like floor polish. Me not like it!
-
It evokes Coffee smoked roasted pumpkin seeds to my nose I retested it these days and i have to say that the oil has sweetened up and some of the smokiness has subdued. Much more bearable and wearable.

...This is the scent of autumn night, fires in the distance, with a touch of boozy swoon, playful sugar and thuggish musk. Starts out with a burst of dried leaves, a bitter green smell - i understand why people perceive this as smokiness, but in all reality it's more biting bitter than anything. After 30 minutes, it turns into this sweet creamy velvet sugary vale, that doesn't project much; it's more of a skin scent.

I was looking forward to testing this scent and i had high expectations, but it just didn't go well with my skin chemistry. I got this weird, bitter and plastic smell and at a later stage it gave out some sweetness. Update: Just tested it again and it smells completely different and so much better: i can smell the orange rind and the honey and the linden blossoms. I'll give it another try

I have no idea what's goin' on, but on the drydown i get manly and bold black pepper! -
Tobacco overload! No honey - no trace of it. Later on: tobacco loses its strength, but still radiating. I wanted to smell smoky honey, but all i get is choked honey in a swarm of tobacco madness
-
Upon application: burning cinnamon, even my nose started to itch 10 minutes later: still cinnamon, less intense, but biting. Ain't gonna wait for some development. Disappointed

I really like this! This is a wicked combination of chili pepper, tobacco, honey and melon. Reminds me so much of T.Mugler's AMEN mid-phase drydown
-
I get a full blast of spices, either clove or pepper and something else salty and sour. Dreadful!
-
I get a sharp bitter sweetness, which mellows out leaving a faint bubblegum smell
-
This is such a tame blend, considering it has leather and amber It has an aromatic sweetness which renders a sensual vibe. Don't let the components scare you off, cause it's downright gorgeous and unobtrusive oil blend.

After a 5 months time - i have finally figured out what Highwayman is about. On my skin upon applying it i get a burst of flowers and leather and as it dries down the leather settles in and looses some its edginess and the flowers, mainly gardenia gives it an aromatic touch. I've become to appreciate it a lot more than i used to and once i use up my imp, it's on my to buy list. Actually Highwayman is a serious contender for Chanel's Cuir de Russie or Lancome's Cuir de Lancome!

there's a Guerlain quality about this scent, i still can't put my finger on it, but it got me hooked. I get a green/ distant citrus/ leather type of vibe. Very intrigued!

I don't know what to make of this scent. i expected cinnamon blazing, but all i get is a non-descript accord; i don't even know what to make of it! If wrath smelt like this, then it would be anything, but wrath.

This reminds me so much of Encre Noir. Basically it's smoky vetiver and leather! Heavy stuff!
-
On skin: OMG, it's burning black pepper choking me Drying: still sharp black pepper with cloves peeking out Dry: cloves and black pepper This is a winter scent most def.
-
