Gah this is just freaking delicious. The cream note is very round and heavy, the scent is deep but delicate, love it. I have used half the bottle already...sob...

I have never had an imp from the lab break in the mail, I got a package once, and there was a broken imp in it. The glass cut my finger. What was the imp? Dracul. What else lol. German Expressionist Horror is awesome and dark. Sinister Salon also. -
What about Dia de los Meurtos? Its a more "perfumey" thing than Witch Dance say, which is more incense, but it is very beautiful.

Salt air, ocean mist, aged patchouli, sarsaparilla, watered-down rum, leather-tinged musk, and a spray of gunpowder. Well in my late summer quest to not be so darn hot, I have taken a few more of my imps and mixed them with perfumer's alcohol for a nice refreshing mist. I wanted an aquatic to fill out my collection of these, so happy I picked this one. To my nose it's very complex, smokey and musky, with salt and sea. No leather, thankfully, I don't need to smell like fine furniture and sadly no patchouli, if it's there it is just a lovely compliment. This scent is just love. It's like Angry Crab, but not quite so angry, you dig? Like Octopus but not quite so sweet.

Ooh I like this, a lot...very sharp and green at first, eventually turns musky but very nice and warm.
-
Light? Not as icey as I'd hoped, but definitely a nice cool mint. I can see this on a boy too.

omg so amazing...amazing...how to stop myself from buying ten bottles of this??? It changes on me, sometimes it's All Nag Champa All the Time, sometimes it's an amazing musk. Gah. Incense fans this is a MUST>

I really love this one, I got a frimp with my last order and surely this will be a bottle with my next. Strangely it was really green on me, sharp and green very fresh.

super pretty and light, very work friendly.

I am not surprised this one sold out so fast, it is really amazing. Strangely, I get at the top a strong dirty note that I suppose is the moss, but then a powdery thing right under it. and then the roses. It has oomph, and power, so pretty and good, but I can see a man wearing it too.

LOVE. this. one. I am a huge Midnight Mass fan, but this trumps even that. I will buy basically anything that has frankincense in it, but this one is the King of Frankincense. It is so rich, so heady...love this one.

gah. reviews. so happy they are back... I bought all my OLLA unsniffed and LOVED all of them, but this one is probably the favorite so far. Patchouli lovers need to buy this stat. It does however have a sweetness for me almost like Black Taffetta. Love this one. six out of five stars thankfully I do not smell any leather, dodged that bullet, if it's in here it's so well blended as to not make me smell like fine furniture or a nice fall jacket.

A bath fit for a down-to-earth monarch: sweet aged patchouli, golden amber, cacao, winter honey, precious oudh, and ylang ylang. This is like someone took full bottles of Smut and Third Charm (and they better have not been mine ) and put them in this wonderful lil bottle of bath oil. Wow.

Please help me find a signature GC scent
stellamaris replied to darkwitchling's topic in Recommendations
It's so hard to figure out what someone else is going to resonate with. My own GC favorites are Night Raven, and either Miss Forcible. that said, as you like roses, you might want to explore the Dawn series, they are wonderful complex rosey blends. -
Ancient snow-dusted oaks, oozing pine pitch, ceremonial mulled wine, wafts of incense, dry leaves, warm cookies, a spatter of blood, and hot cocoa with wee little marshmallows. Love this! It smells predominately sweet at the start, and then evens out to a lush melange of goodness. Warning, this is whoa, strong. I got yelled at for spraying too much at my first go

I love this, with the leaves up front, and then the resins, it's beautiful.

This is delicious. I can smell both the fruit and the flowers, it has amazing sharpness and depth. I love this one, it says "spring" to me, will surely be going in my next order.

THE ZOOMLime juice, bergamot, Himalayan cedarwood, helichrysum, and dragon’s blood resin. This one goes to eleven. Lime, and Dragon's Blood? Delicious. Fresh. Salty. Really good. Very bright and round, great for daytime. This is a nice DBR, it gives me the scent without being too New Age Bookstore. Not that I am opposed to the New Age Bookstore, it's just that I like to pretend to be sophisticated every once in a while. This one will get some back ups. Oh and I don't get the wood very strong, which is good, as I don't really love smelling like furniture.

This one is awesome. Gingerbread Snake was really good, Gingerbread Satyr was great for the ten seconds it stuck around before completely disappearing, but this one is fabulous. Really grounded and good. Gingerbread. With other good stuff. Does not smell very boy to me at all.

The aquatic thing that many of the MU blends have, it's here, but with a lovely incense under it. This is surely a Big Bottle, as my Halloween at MU is truly loved

Why did I not just order a bottle of this with my first order? oh yeah I was afraid of the coffee, but I can't smell any coffee, just gorgeous chocolate. Beautiful, very much like the chocolate in Gelt, which I am missing sorely this year.
