I like the sweet, the rich, the darkly foody. Fond of a nice fougère, though not on me. Particular affinities for pumpkin, amber, leather, butter, strong tea, dark chocolate, and marshmallow.

    Cockaigne

On me, this starts out very warm and spicy and sort of amber-y with a strong boozy undertone. After a while the sweetness of the honey comes out to play, and it ends up smelling like good chai with no cinnamon. There's a little hint of pastry, but it's something flaky and buttery and not too sweet. While I was really hoping for cake, this is pretty wonderful.

    Gluttony

In the imp, it's just a blast of dark sugary goodness. A little overwhelming, even as someone who loves that sort of thing. Wet, coffee and sour ickiness? This does not play nice with my skin when wet, luckily once it dries I get the initial yum back. Very creamy and warm, has a strong throw for a couple hours and then sticks around subtly for ages. Thick and lovely and edible, it was hard to resist chewing on my wrist!

    Grog

All butterscotch candy in the imp, later more of a (tasty, awesome) mix of butterscotch, rum, and a caramelly almost burned sort of denseness. Suitably boozy, but sweet enough to scare off my cat and make me very happy. I'm going to be dousing my bodices in this for all piratical situations.

In the bottle, the chocolate is pretty much all I get. It's a lovely complex chocolate, very dark and full of spicy interesting hints, but they're subtle. Wet, it's even stronger, but a more balanced blend. Spicier, fruitier (very dark fruit though, not what I associate with cherry), dense and lovely. It's so potent that it's hard to pin down any specific notes. As it dries on me, I get very little morph. After an hour, once it starts to mellow a bit, it sweetens up and gives a softer vibe and the chocolate takes on an almost powdery smell (sort of like is cocoa powder made of very dark chocolate). This is one of my absolute favorites and I love it dearly. Definitely worth multiple bottles!

    Bread-and-Butter-Fly

In the bottle, I get warm tea and buttered something, not quite a baked or toasty note but there's definitely bread involved. Wet, it smells just like a sugar-butter sandwich tastes. White bread, heavily buttered, generous sprinkle of sugar, with milky tea in the background. It doesn't change much with wear, but the tea amps a bit and it goes creamier. This is an all time favorite and my go-to daily scent.
