Mmmm...this is so unique! First sniff=tangy fruit and rich floral. Almost immediately, the fruit/floral smell fades to reveal a wonderful nag champa smell. It reminds me of an opium incense that I used to buy back in my younger days. I'm not picking up the patchouli in this blend, but I'm probably desensitized to it at this point.

I really liked this one. It smells like Graveyard Dirt with a layer of cinnamon and fruit. I don't really get any bourbon or floral out of it. It sorta reminds me of the holiday season.

This is definitely the most slatherworthy scent from my latest batch. It's very rich, classy, and feminine, yet dark and unique. The incense smell gives it a little more interest.

Mmmm...this is nice. It smells like there might be a little almond in there. If there was a divine sea of milk, it would totally smell like this!!
-
Warm and spicy with a hint of berry or currant. Nice!!

When first applied, this smells sorta like sweet pipe tobacco, whiskey-sour, and soft mint. I liked it when wet, by it totally turned to baby powder upon drydown.

I loooove this. It's a lot like a beeswax candle--warm, mellow, sweet. It would make a good room scent, too.
-
It reminds me of planting flowers in the spring. Freshly upturned soil. I like it! My only complaint is that it fades quickly.

I had to try this for the name alone! WOW! Simply put, this smells like anti-freeze and fruit punch. It also reminds me of 7th St. & Nicollet in Downtown Minneapolis, outside of the Candyland store. Deeply infused with ultra-sweet caramel.

Out of the bottle, this smells like charred wood. Then it fades to a hot cinnamon/pepper smell with a little woodiness. After a while, the smoke, wood, and cinnamon balance out to a nice mellow scent. It reminds me of fireplace smoke wafting through the cold winter air. Very nice, but I don't think I'd wear it everyday. It would probably make a great room scent.

It's interesting to read the reviews after trying this one just because the reactions are so diverse. I'm guessing that this scent is supposed to smell feral because of its name. On my skin, it ends up more "fecal" than feral. Like many others, I had to scrub my arms right away, and it took some serious scrubbing to get the dirty diaper smell off my skin. Weird. This one goes in the swap bin.

A panoply of cultural treasures, spanning the herbs, flowers, oils and balms of the Romans, the Byzantines, the Mediterranean, the Levant, Northern China, Eastern Europe, Iran, the Bulgar-Kypchak, Mesopotamia, the Crimean Peninsula, Anatolia, Antioch, and North Africa. Silk Road really is beautiful. It smells like aromatic rice to me--must be saffron. I mostly smell this aromatic rice smell, and then a teeny bit of exotic spice after about an hour of wear. I like this a lot, but my sister fell in love with it, so I gave the imp to her. I just might have to order both of us bottles!

At first, I smell fruit and leather. The strong fruitiness calms down after a few minutes and settles into a resiny wine scent. I'm left with red wine smell and a slight smokey/leathery aroma. Nice, but not really my style.

I'm having a hard time picking out the individual notes in Omen. It's very refreshing, light, and clean on my skin. It smells a little like rose water with a subtle cedar-like, pine aroma. I put it on after taking a long, hot bath and I feel so soothed and relaxed now.

Dude...this scent *is* vampy as hell. Period. I was a little worried about the orange blossom at first, but the ginger really comes through and the patchouli keeps everything in check. After dry-down, I'm left with a sweet, fresh cut pipe tobacco smell that is just gorgeous. There's no powdery or soapy smell at all. I'm gonna go so far as to say that this is a step above Snake Oil. This is the type type of scent you strategically wear to reel in "the action." It smells like pure horny, lusty goodness!!! Bring it on!!!

Alright, I'm usually into the earthier scents, but for some reason, this didn't work on my skin. It smelled earthy for sure, but in a "hippie in the woods" way, which I'm not so keen on. I smelled a lot of patchouli and wood (pine?) but not much else. I like it, but it's not exotic enough for my weird tastes. It's great if you're looking for a simple woody scent. If you're looking for woody with an "oomph" like me, then I would suggest something else like Black Forest.

Being a girl who likes earthy scents, I reeeeealllly tried to like this one. Unfortunately, all it did was turn to soapy sandalwood on my skin. It still smelled pretty good, but it wasn't dramatic enough for my tastes. If you're looking for a safe, everyday earthy scent, then this would be great. It struck me as a "staple" scent, and not the type of scent that leaves me smelling my wrists all day. It's not bad at all, but there are other earthy bpal scents that interest me more.

I originally chose this scent without knowing what most of the single-notes smelled like, except for cypress. I've had good luck with cypress scents before, so I figured I'd go for it. I LOVE IT. I'm not a floral person, but this was dark and spicy enough to keep me sniffing my wrists all day. At first, it's very strong, rich floral, but as it dries, it becomes deeper and more complex. I don't think it's "masculine" smelling, although it would smell great with a man's body chemistry. This is one of those scents that I could slather all over the place, but I have to be careful, because it's not the type of scent that everyone would like. After smelling this, I'm really excited to try more narcissus-based sniffies.

Mmmmm....this is yummy and sexy! I think the description fits it well. THIS is totally what the Hamadryads would smell like--sensual, warm, and playful. I'm not getting the "woods" smell so much as a musky, cinnamon, floral combo that's perfectly balanced. I'm always nervous when I see cinnamon in a description, because it tends to be overdone, but this is just the right amount. It reminds me of the aroma of oatmeal raisin cookies baking in a home filled with bouquets of fresh flowers.

Mmmmm....this is one of my favorites so far. Wet on skin, Danse Macabre smells strongly of cypress and frankincense. As it dries, those two elements calm down, leaving a clean, fresh, woody scent. I'm not sure what oude (or aloewood) smells like, but I'm guessing that it's what's giving Danse Macabre that nice, clean smell. As time goes by, the hazelnut comes out, but it's so subtle that the blend ends up being perfect. It's so soothing and woody, yet cozy and warm. This scent is great for both genders and it could also be used as a room scent or bath oil. Very versatile.

I like this one! When first applied, it smells like lemon drop. The tartness of the lemon quickly subsides, leaving a very warm vanilla-lemongrass scent. It's very cozy, relaxing, and inoffensive. Usually vanilla smells give me a headache, but this is very subtle and pleasant because of the lemongrass factor. Definitely a keeper!

OOoooooh!!! I love this stuff! Wet in the bottle and wet on skin: It smells like grape candy with a little bit of woodiness Dry on skin (10-20 minutes later): The grape candy smell (probably from the ylang ylang) has chilled out and the musk, patchouli, and myrrh has surfaced, resulting in a sweet, rich, heady scent. Dry (several hours later): MMmmmmm....this still smells sweet, musky, and almost buttery. If lust had a smell, this would be it. Awesome. I need a bottle.
-
I *heart* this scent!!! From bottle, to wet, to dry, all I smell is myrrh and ylang ylang. The ylang ylang creates somewhat of a cherry-almondish scent, which I always love. Very subtle, yet very sexy! YAYAYAYAY!!! Now I need a bottle!

I'm loving this. It's actually quite warm and cozy because of the black musk. Yeah, it's piney when first applied, but that fades pretty quickly for a very balanced scent. It lasts a long time on my skin and stays pretty consistent throughout the day, which is great. I'm gonna need a bottle of this!

I had a lot of trouble analyzing this one. That's partly because the scent wore off pretty quickly and I had to reapply it a couple times. Wet in bottle: Very citrusy and tart Wet on skin: Neroli--lots and lots of neroli with a tinge of orange. Dry on skin: It still smells mostly like neroli, but there is something deeper. I can smell the clove a little bit here and there. Otherwise it's not very noticeable. Dry after a couple hours: The neroli/citrus smell is very tame now and I smell a grey, pale floral scent. It reminds me of the way my grandmother's antique dresser smells. She used to stuff decorative soaps (the Chinese kind) and powdery sachets in the drawers with all her clothes. It's a little soapy, but not in a bad way. This soapy, wilted floral scent seems to be something that people either love or hate. I think it's actually quite nice. My only complaint is that the scent doesn't last as long as the others usually do.
