I would say Wanda or Perversion. Or anything worn within my vicinity would work, but that's just me.

This is one of the few blends with cinnamon that doesn't leave itchy red welts all over my skin, and I'm glad for that! It's a potent, yet subtle almond blend, very marzipan-y, very Snowcake, but with a little kick of incensey spice from the heliotrope and cinnamon, respectively. I don't know if this is what an Eclipse smells like, but it is a good nighttime scent, and great for winter parties.

The violets come out most on me with Veil, which is a good thing. It just feels light purple. The sandalwood is a nice, grounding powdery scent which reins in the violet from running rampant like with Nocturne, but not too muddled up or confused. Like a lot of florals on me, it fades pretty quickly, but I guess the point of something named Veil is subtlety after all.

I ordered a 5 mL of this, unsniffed. I have a thing for Ouija boards and the description sounded awesome, especially thinking of dusty lilacs and rose. Unfortunately, the osmanthus decided to be the star of Ouija for me, and it just doesn't smell all that interesting with my body chemistry. The drydown was more woodsy than the wet application, but the rose and lilac never took over as I'd hoped they would. Alas!

Very very honey and red wine. Boozy and golden, methinks. It smells almost edible and a bit incensy. Somehow it feels almost too rich to really wear though, so I either swipe lightly or sniff in the bottle. I think if you were going to be in a big open room, this would be a good one to draw attention to yourself without getting tired of the scent.

Very sweet pea on me. The tonka and sage just seem to ground the sweet pea more, and make it fade gently rather than seeming loud. Aeval feels light pink to me. It feels like a pretty subtle scent and seems to last less long than I would like, but I am a slatherer and I like perfume that screams from a distance and lasts all day. I'll use up my bottle and be happy, but I doubt I'll buy again.

Sexy, Smutty, Seductive, Provocative... It's All in Here

O! It makes me feel really sexy, and that's when the sexiest magic happens. Also, the joy of layering! Snake Oil + Perversion is a deadly sexy combination, in my opinion. O and Mata Hari are unstoppable together too. Whip is yummy too! -

I would say to keep bugs *away* wear something with lavender in it because it's an insect repellant. -

That's on my list to try. I wasn't sure, though, since it's supposed to be kind of masculine. Does it turn sweet vanilla on you? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not too masculine, but I just got my bottle and haven't worn it yet, only sniffed the bottle! Have you tried Jack? Very foody and also sweet and spicy and creamy. If you like Black Phoenix, try Hecate. -

Golden Priapus? -
I know it's been listed as an upcoming scent a few times in the past, maybe you saw it then?

Best BPALs for SUMMER - is it hot, sweltering, sticky outside?
starrykitten replied to Donnababe's topic in Recommendations
Neo Tokyo is nice and cool, and Tarot: the Star is way summery. Vixen is pretty strong, so I'd apply sparingly. Whitechapel and Embalming Fluid are light, pretty citrus scents. Zephyr smells very blue and fresh to me. -
Manila is a good one too! Don't be put off by the thought of bananas in your perfume!

Which Are Your Favorite Voodoo (A.K.A. Conjure Bag) Oils?
starrykitten replied to anmorata's topic in Recommendations
It's not a voodoo blend, but I find that Tarot: the Star does just what you're looking for. -

Yeah! The Caterpillar! -
Oh, yes! Do try the Caterpillar and Zombi! Burial isn't as wet as Zombi. Maybe try some imps if you're not sure? ETA: And Dublin!

or Sea of Glass!

Replacing Versace perfumes with BPAL

Neo Tokyo would be good, and I'd also suggest Zephyr. I haven't tried Hurricane, Lightning, or Undertow but check them out for aquatic notes. And Jolly Roger! -
Lush to BPAL scent comparisons (BNever included too)

In my opinion, Siren and Youki-Hi don't smell that much alike. Other jasmine scents like Wicked and New Orleans are closer, I think. -
I recommend Kyoto, and also Hecate, and Black Phoenix.

can't believe I didn't suggest Centzon Tenochtin right off. it's perfect for your specs! -
I'd also say to put on something you really really like. That way you can sniff it and sniff it instead of thinking too hard! The Caterpillar could be a good one too. Or Velvet.

Kali morphs a lot, you might like it. -
In the bottle, there's a very sharp, browny green earthy note that I wondered might be too much. When I put it on, the really sharp note died down, leaving the scent of a dry, dusty, cracked rose covered with fresh wet dirt, and I found that beautiful. Zombi was sexy in a surprising way. I felt like I wasn't generally smelling sexy, but that anyone I attracted would be really interesting. Wears very well too; though the rose outlasts the dirt.

Wow. In short, Regan rocked my world this morning. I put it on and just basked in it for ages. The quick bottle-sniff I did didn't do it justice at all. I was nervous about the orchide, but it blends so smoothly and velvety with the vanilla that I don't feel like a flower shop. There is something similar between this and O, but this is more innocent, more daytime than O. Very feminine, very versatile, and I'll see how the staying power goes. Right now I'm glad I bought a bottle right-off.
