Hhmmm, it seems my moon is in Aries. That makes so much sense, now that I think about it. And I was really drawn to Aries and Libra, moreso than I was drawn to Aquarius, my sun sign. I wonder why? Then again, I am finding I like things from Beth that I don't like on my own--for example, patchouli. Interesting website, thanks!

I think I'll try diluting them with a little body oil today and see if the burning is gone. If not, I'll try the lotion trick. I really want to wear this! Thanks, ladies!

Hi, I'm really loving Eclipse, but I'm experiencing a slight burning sensation when I apply it directly to my skin. Must be the cinnamon. Has anyone else diluted Eclipse, or done something else to make themselves able to wear it without the burning? Any suggestions appreciated!

I'm definitely getting a big bottle of this one. Yum! Almonds, oatmeal, and honey. It's so homey and comforting. Not too sweet.

On first sniff: sharp, with resins and a lot of spice. Interesting. Dry down: Very powdery on my skin. I'm guessing it's the musks? Still spicy. I could like it if not for the powdery smell. Later: A sweet note seems to be edging its way out from beneath the powder. Not bad, but still doesn't overcome this powdery scent on my skin. I don't think this one is for me. Second wear: I don't know what was up with my nose the other day. Maybe scent overload from trying all my new imps! Wore Glasya again today. WONDERFUL! I love this scent. It starts out with a strong scent of resins and spices. Then something green fights through to make itself known. About 20 minutes later, a sweet note starts to show itself, but the resins and spices are still dominant. Several hours later it's still not powdery on me at all. It smells like the remnants of some good incense. I like this one a lot!

You know, I've never really worn anyting piney. I don't know if it's because I haven't been around it, or I've never been drawn to it. Hmm...

I too, was a lover of Amber Romance after receiving it as a gift a few years ago. But it was so strong when I wore it that it overwhelmed not only me, but everyone within 20 feet of me, so I stopped wearing it. I might have to try O too now, if it's just as good but not as overwhelming. Thank you both for sharing your thoughts on it.

I got notification from USPS that my order was supposed to be shipped out Thurs, but it hasn't updated at all yet. Is the USPS slow in updating, or is it possible it hasn't shipped yet?

I got a USPS shipping confirmation a day or two ago. The USPS site is slow about updating though. I'm looking for my imps hopefully sometime next week.

Hmmm, that's strange. I got an email from Nella to my hotmail account Monday, but she hasn't answered my last reply/question. Have they been blocked since them or are they just really busy like I thought? Should I send a pm to her too? I feel like that's just too much.

Borders does have the best. The Tazo Vanilla Chai concentrate is really good too, when mixed with whole milk. I'm addicted to the stuff and buy it rarely so I can get some sleep!

That sounds yummy, but I'm wondering if it's what I want. I'm really not good with making up fragrances. I just look for what I want and throw it all together and see what happens. You don't know what you're missing if you've never had a good cup of homemade chai. It makes the whole house smell of steamed cinnamon, marjoram, and cloves, with a dash of nutmeg and black pepper. Then you mix it half and half with some whole milk, add a teaspoon or so of sugar (not too sweet!) and enjoy on a chilly morning in the sunroom with your toes tucked in your slippers and an afghan wrapped around you.

Oh, great! Thanks! You know, I can't really smell the tea all that much in chai, which is good because i don't like tea! But I love chai. I know, I'm weird.

Eclipse was in my first order, and I added Old Morocco to my second order. Hopefully I will love them! But I'd really love to smell like chai. I'm sure you've had it before. It's my favorite cold-weather drink and it's just the incensy-spicy-sweet smell I would love to have.

How did I miss the review for Embalming Fluid that says it smells kinda like Calyx from Prescriptives? I LOVE that scent! I will definitely have to add it to my order. The Cool Citrus & Basil doesn't smell citrusy at all to me, strangely enough. It's a unisex smell that smells cool and herbally. I'm trying to figure out the recipe for it so I can make my own. If anyone has any ideas on what else might be in it, I'd appreciate the input. I've got a couple of the herbally-fresh imps to put on my order, so hopefully one of them will be what I want. Thanks!
