Ugh. No snow, just incense that smells slightly soapy. Not impressed at all. If it doesn’t morph soon I’m washing it off. Lexie walked into the room and said “something smells really good. Perfumey” but when I held my wrist out to her she said it wasn’t good up close, and she didn’t like it.

Interesting. I’m getting a similar blueberry from blueberry lollipops, with a lot of pie crust. Nothing I’d specifically identify as cream, but it’s definitely not a pure blueberry scent. What I’m getting from the air as opposed to nose-to-wrist are two different scents - in the air is much more blueberry pie, on my skin it’s a little plasticky, and much more crust than fruit. Doesn’t last overly long, less than 4 hours and I can’t really smell it at all. I don’t strictly dislike it, but it’s not what I was hoping for either.

I get violet, a little. No plum, sadly. It’s much more commercial perfume smelling than I’d hoped for. Dried it’s slightly powdery very perfumey violet. I won’t be keeping it.

creamy cinnamon. Just the faintest hint of coconut, not enough that I’d pick it up if I didn’t already know it was there. While it doesn’t actually smell the same, something about it reminds me of Arcana’s Straightjacket - I think it’s the cinnamon custardy thing it’s got going on. It’s not nearly as cinnamony as Straightjacket though. Dried it’s not as strong as I’d like, and has pretty much no throw, but what’s on my skin is magic. Creamy, slightly spiced coconut. It’s fantastic. I‘ll have to play around with different application techniques to see if I can get a stronger scent, because right now I want to bathe in it.

Wow - I have the opposite reaction with this from everyone else apparently. Interesting. Wet I get a similar blueberry from blueberry lollipops, with a lot of pie crust. In the bottle : melons with a hint of ozone. Lightning in a melon patch. Wet: Cantaloupe! Fresh, bright, juice dripping off your chin cantaloupe. I’m not getting any ozone or pina colada, it’s all melon. Almost no throw at all, I just put it on and my daughter sitting 6ft away can’t smell it at all. Once it’s dried down, more of the other scents come out, not in super obvious Pineapple! Coconut! Way, but a rich, mixed fruit way. It’s lasted hours, but only as a skin scent. I wish it had more throw, but I’m definitely glad I bought it.

In the bottle it’s all peach shampoo - not the soapy aspect, but the same bright peach scent. On it gets a little deeper, the peach darkening, so it’s not just bright and sunny, but still very much peach. Dried - it doesn’t really morph at all, it’s still deep peach with a hint of something bakery-ish, which would be the crust I assume. And it hasn’t faded, even hours later, I can still smell it, and it has a decent throw. I call this one a win!

In the bottle it’s pure strawberry, like someone just poured strawberry jelly into the bottle. As soon as I put it on it changed. Much less strawberry, more like a doughnut with just the lightest hint of strawberry. Dried down, it has almost no throw, but few things do on me. It’s all doughnut and sugar and just the faintest hint of strawberry. It’s really making me want to go to a bakery and pick up jelly filled doughnuts.

I absolutely do not get Pez, of any flavor. It smells kind of pastry-ish, the fruit is nice and rich. It’s a comforting, bakery-type smell. I think I get a hint of the amber, but just a hint. Decent throw for the first hour or so, then my skin mostly ate it. Still, if I sniff right on my wrist I get that warm fruity baked good smell. I’m very glad I bought a bottle of this, and may consider a backup.

Go To Sleep Darlings is one of my all time favorites. Yellow Snowballs was a HUGE fail on me. I ordered Snow White, The Snow at Midnight and The Snow Shower this year, hoping for something similar to GTSD.

Looking for a BPAL that Resembles a Favorite Perfume

My husband recently discovered that he likes Elixir. Is there a bpal that smells like that? -
I'm another one who found this one seriously HOT. First time I've had a skin reaction to an oil. Luckily it was pretty mild and faded after about half an hour. As for the scent? Pure Red Hots. I spent the whole day smelling like cinnamon candy. Which isn't a bad thing, if that's what you're going for. Unfortunately, it's not what I was hoping for. I like cinnamon based scents and was hoping for a rich, firey one. Instead I got candy.

I got this as a frimp, and it is the only thing I haven't been able to test. I tried, really, but the smell in the imp was just... ugh. Vile. And the little bit I got on my fingers opening the imp made me have to wash my hands, repeatedly. I have tested scents that didn't appeal to me, things that smelled downright scary. But I just can't bring myself to put this one on.

This went on rich and warm There was something sweet and almost fruity at first. But within about 15 minutes went straight baby powder. Definitely not my scent.

In the imp I got clean linen with a hint of rose. As soon as I put it on it went cheap rose soap and stayed that way. Very disappointing.

Okay, this is my first review, And my very first BPAL order, so be gentle with me I didn't especially care for this in the bottle. It smelled kind of sharp. I think it was the rum. When I first put it on it was heavy, smoky, and incense-y. Almost too heavy. After about half an hour is mellowed to a warm very nutty scent. A couple hours later it's sweet, still nutty. It is a heavy scent, I should have used a little less than I did, but the few others I've tried I seemed to absorb, so I went a little heavier. I really like it though. So far it's one of my favorites.
