In the bottle: fresh and green with a whisper of musk. Wet: Wow, the oil really is green! I wasn't sure how the green notes and musk would react with my skin, but this is lovely. The scent is green, but has more depth than most green fragrances. This is a gorgeous scent and I think I will wear it often this summer.

In the vial: a soft breath of lavender with a touch of sweetness. On skin: OMG This scent just jumped into my Top Ten, probably my Top Five. I think this scent would appeal to people who generally don't care for lavender, because the notes blend seemlessly together. This is a unique and beautiful scent. I must have a bottle!

Who knew that spiders could be sexy? In the vial: soft musk with a hint of cloves. On skin: When the oil is wet the cloves were in the foreground. As the scent dries down it becomes a soft, spicy musk. I often have difficulty wearing musk (it turns to an unbathed smell on me), but this scent is gorgeous.

Is it okay if I say "ditto" because I agree with everything in abejita's review? Except, Gemini is my Moon sign rather than my Sun sign. I wish I had purchased more than one bottle.

In the bottle: tea, ginger, and a whisper of fruity floral. On skin: the ingredients meld together seemlessly with the ginger being slightly more pronounced than the other notes. This is a gorgeous blend and my only regret is that I didn't order more than one bottle.

In the vial: dark resins and incense. On skin: There is an unpleasant, strong boozy note that is overwhelming everything else. I have to wash this off.

Soft musk, leather, and Brazilian cigar tobacco. In the vial: soft musk and a hint of sweet tobacco On skin: The leather note came out as the oil dried down. A sophisticated masculine blend.
-
In the vial: a faint scent of pine needles. On skin: Whoa! This is a very warming blend. It smells exactly like crunching through a pine forest on a cool autumn day. A lovely room scent.
-
In the vial: this scent reminds me of the smell steam coming off of cement after a violent thunderstorm. Wet (on skin): the very darkest resins. Dry: this scent is a bit too masculine for me, but it would be fabulous on the right person.
-
In the vial: Mmmm, spicy patchouli. Wet: Oh, wow, the cinnamon really pops. Dry: Sadly this scent morphed from a spicy patchouli delight into craft store potpourri.

I received a decant of Vanilla Bean from a lovely Forumite. In the vial: warm, slightly spicy, and well rounded. Wet: rich and ever so slightly sweet. Dry: this smells like the most wonderful Madagascar vanilla. Absolutely lovely.

Short 'n' sweet review: Kirschwasser.

In the vial: this smells so fabulous! Spicy and resinous. Wet on skin: The laudanum and hyssop are so yummy. I think I may have found a snake that I can wear! Dry: Alas, this was not to be. This lovely scent morphed into the same plastic smell that I get from "regular" Snake Oil. Drat!

In the vial: sweet floral and mint. Wet: this didn't really morph much from the vial. Dry: the violet became more pronounced, which is good. This is a pretty scent that I will try as a room scent.

In the bottle: Mossy and wonderful, yet with a wisp of floral to prevent the scent from becoming too earthy. Wet: I may have found my moss nirvana. So far, this is a mossy scent that stays feminine. Dry: Boo! I am amping the jessamine something fierce! Jessamine is only a cousin of the dreaded jasmine, so I thought I could wear it. Oh, well. This is a gorgeous scent and it brings back fond memories. I will try it in my oil burner

In the vial: yummy pulpy orange, frankincense, orris, and a mix of florals. Wet: The florals become more prominant. Dry: The springy flowers took over. Actually, this scent smells like my late spring garden! This is a pretty and girly scent.

This is going to be a very short review. Every man in America, or better yet, the world, should have multiple bottles of this scent. It is sexy and clean at the same time. Amazing

In the vial: this scent reminds me of my favorite Key Lime cookies from Key West. Wet on skin: Rum and a bit of spice join the party. Dry: Now this scent is reminding me of a delicious curry, which is a good thing. Now, it morphs again and becomes sweet, spicy and smoky. I realize that I've made this sound like a very foody scent, which it really isn't. This scent does have a somewhat masculine quality, but I think women can wear it, too.

In the bottle: wow, this scent is much stronger than I thought it would be. Quite musky with juicy red fruit. wet on skin: this reminds me of a musky perfume from the 70's. I wish I could think of the name. Dry: powdery musk. Sadness.

Where I come from fire+pig=barbeque, so I approached Fire Pig with a degree of trepidation. In the vial: tropical and fruity. On: Tropical fruit salad. It is sweet, but not cloying. There is the faintest whiff of plum blossom. Dry: Tropical, fruity and fun.

Holy Mother of Jameson's, man! In the vial it is a ringer for Jameson's Irish Whiskey. I dabbed a wee bit on my wrist and it smelled as if I'd been on a two day bender. An interesting scent, but not what I would wear as perfume.

In the vial: bitter almond o_0 Wet on skin: marzipan. I was tempted to wash this off b/c I really don't like strong almond notes. Dry: I am glad that I didn't wash this off! After about one half hour the scent developed into a lovely spicy, resinous lighter version of Snake Oil. Lovely!

In the vial: MacIntosh apples plus lemon zest. Wet: Fruit salad made with apples, honeydew melon and citrus fruit. Dry: Very fruity. Pleasant, but not reminiscent of Snake Oil.
-
In the vial: sweet and resinous. Frankincense and orris. Wet: now a fairly strong floral note is coming out to play. I think it may be hyssop. Dry: Now there is a powdery quality that reminds me alot of Chanel No. 22. This scent is very pretty, but the powdery note isn't working for me.

In the vial: orris and heady florals. Wet on skin: orris, orchid, a whisper of myrrh. The jasmine is behaving itself. Dry: really gorgeous. This is a dark floral, but it isn't cloying or heady. The orris and sandalwood blend beautifully with the floral notes. I think this scent will be my first big bottle purchase from CD III.
