Leather and tea are two of my favorite notes, so I'd been itching to try this for a while. In the imp: bergamot and tea. Wet: bergamot Dry: I really amped the bergamot. No leather

This is going to be a very short review: strawberry bubblicious bubble gum. The red musk (one of my favorite notes) tried to come out, but it was beaten down by the strawberry. I wore this scent for about twenty minutes before it became so sickly sweet that I had to wash it off

In the imp: sweetly smoky and resinous with dry, aged wood. Wet: cedar! Then the lovely smoky frankincense comes back. Dry: a gorgeous blend of resins. IMHO, this is like Midnight Mass without the fir note. Definately need a big bottle
-
In the bottle: plum and grapes! Wet: oh, dear. Grape cough syrup. Dry: This is delightful once the violet note comes out. There is another floral note, methinks the lilac that does not want to play nicely, but it went away after about 20 minutes. I am happy that I have a bottle.
-
In the vial: ginger and smoky leather. Wet: something very sweet is stomping on all of the other lovely notes. Dry: mild patchouli with a hint of smoke and leather. I love this scent, but I wonder if it is too masculine for me to wear out of the house.

In the vial: this scent reminds me of a pomander ball: orange and mildly spicy. Wet on skin: very citrus-y. It does vaguely remind me of furniture polish. Dry: Very bright and citrus-y. Not what I expected from Satan and pals. A pleasant scent, but I don't think that I need a bottle.

I received an imp of this from a lovely Forumite In the vial: lavender and ...is that lilac? Wet: gardenia (I think) is pouncing on everything Dry: the orris and violet are a really pretty combination. I'm on the fence about a big bottle, but I will enjoy my imp.

I received this imp from a lovely Forumite In the imp: subtle spicy floral Wet: quite musky with a creamy note Dry: oh, this is lovely on the dry down. The creamy note has turned to vanilla, which is wonderful. The spicy notes and florals balance one another beautifully. Big bottle ahoy!

In the imp: ew! This is really unpleasant, cheap red wine. I'm not sure that I even want to put it on my skin. Wet: I wish the wine note would go away. There is something smoky and leathery coming out that is preventing me from washing this off at this moment. Dry: smoky, leathery and herbal. Light throw. The dry down is wonderful, but I don't know that it is worth the first unpleasant thirty minutes. *Really nice*, though somewhat masculine, on the dry down. I will keep my imp, but I am on the fence about ordering a big bottle.

A wanton beauty, corrupt, hypnotic, seductive, and feral: magnolia, iris, Moroccan rose, frankincense, crushed jasmine blossom, blood orange, tobacco flower and white musk. I received this imp in a swap with a lovely Forumite In the imp: yummy blood orange! Wet: blood orange with a combination of floral notes. Dry: oh, noes! How did this turn to powder? Even the strong citrus could not rescue this scent from a powdery doom. Alas, not for me.

I received an imp of this scent in a swap with a lovely Forumite In the vial: ah, tea! Wet: tea and dry wood. Dry: I love this scent! A true tea scent. Who knew that the Spirits of the Dead smelled fabulous? I just wish this wasn't discontinued.

Nostalgia encapsulated. A soft, wistful blend of dry flowers, aged linens, and the faint breath of long-faded perfumes. I received this imp in a swap with a lovely Forumite In the vial: wow, this reminds me of Tahitian vanilla, which is a slightly floral type of vanilla. Wet: Tahitian vanilla with *something* grounding it from becoming too sweet. It is girly, rather than the old lady scent I had feared. Dry: This is really delightful! I don't usually care for "girly" scents, but this is wonderful. Must order a big bottle!

I received an imp of this oil in a swap with a lovely Forumite In the imp: saffron and lotus. Pretty. I was expecting more spice. Wet: gee, this reminds me of linment that was used at the stable where I used to rice. Dry: smoky, but not the spicy incense that I was expecting. The wintergreen note is still here in the background. I am going to try this in my oil burner because the scent is wonderful in the vial, but it did not work on my skin.

Midnight Mass O6 In the vial: I don't remember pine being listed as a note, but that is the dominant note that I get when sniffing the vial. Wet: lovely incense with frankincense being the dominant note. Dry: the pine note is lingering in the background of the incense. I'm on the fence with this one because the incense is fantastic, but I've recently discovered that pine and I don't get along. Hmmm.

In the vial: red musk, sandalwood and a hint of sweetness, perhaps the leather. Wet: very woodsy, which blends nicely with the musk. Dry: Oh, my! This is what I wanted Spanked to be! Musky, leathery yumminess. I think this scent would be equally lovely on men or women. Big bottle purchase, ahoy!
-
In the vial: anisette cookies Definately unexpected! Wet: anisette cookies and lovely, sweet smokiness Dry: Absolutely gorgeous! This is smoky without being too heavy or masculine, althought I think this would be a lovely scent on a man, too. The throw is light to moderate and the scent is long lasting. I must have a big bottle!

*queue KC and the Sunshine Band* In the imp: I smell Jovan's White Musk. Wet: this smells like quite the party! Musk, sweet opium poppy and tobacco. Dry: musk, champagne and a hint of sweet smokiness. Quite different than the '05 version IMHO.
-
In the vial: almond and pine. Wet: very powerful pine. Dry: very powerful pine and very long lasting.
-
In the vial: slushy with a whisper of pine. Wet: slush, pine and cloves. Dry: another morphing Yule scent! The Icelandic moss note became quite pronounced after about fifteen minutes and I perceived this as a masculine scent.
-
In the bottle: this smells like a Mojito from Fridays. Which is a good thing. Wet: sweet, slushy, fruity with a wee hint of mint. Dry: this scent really morphed. After a few minutes it smells like cranberries and fir needles. A really interesting scent!
-
Can I just say "ditto" to zenvodunista's review? I did not get any smoky goodness either, just an aquatic note, subtle floral, and a wisp of mint. Off to swaps.
-
In the vial: delicate floral with a wisp of sweet mint and a slight aquatic tang. Wet: this scent is reminding me more and more of Snow White. Dry: I am one of the people who cannot wear Snow White because I get the plastic scent, as I do with this. Off to swaps.
-
In the vial: spicy floral and sandalwood. Wet: spicy floral and sandalwood, just like the vial. Dry: Oh, my this is a morpher! Initially, this scent was a spicy floral then it turned a touch powdery. After about thirty minutes the musk came out and tied everything together beautifully.

I generally don't care for foody scents, but I decided to give the Candy Butcher a try: In the vial: the most luscious hot cocoa with hand cut marshmallows on top. Wet: same as above, but with a wee hint of Tahitian vanilla. Dry: really lovely. The floral vanilla is saving this scent from being too sweet and foody. Moderate throw with good staying power. I may need to acquire a bottle!

I am another Forumite with coulrophobia, but I had to try this scent. In the vial: Did someone else say cherry blow-pops? Charms cherry blow-pops, spot on. Yet, there is also an aquatic note in the background. Very intriguing. Wet: Hello, cherry slush! Dry: Cherry slush with no throw. After a couple of hours it morphs to a green fruit scent with no throw.
