I received this imp as part of a swap with a lovely Forumite. In the imp: mulled cider. Wet: mulled cider. Dry: This scent really morphed on me. I did not like it at all as it was drying down because it reminded me of apple potpourri. After an hour it is beautiful warm and golden, like coming in to a warm fire after a chilly day of apple picking. I will enjoy my imp and may seek out a bottle.

I am rarely someone who is taken by surprise and this scent really surprised me, in a good way! I've thought that vetivert was one of my moral scent enemies, but perhaps not! Since I feared the vetivert, I first obtained a decant rather than ordering a full bottle. In the vial: lemon and lavender deliciousness. A burst of summer! Wet: scrumptious verbena. Dry: OMG, this gets better as it dries. The fig comes out (and maybe vetiver?) to give this blend depth. The musk grounded it after about half an hour. I think this is a lovely gender neutral scent. A big bottle purchase for me

Another scent from my lovely decanter I love incense, but "sweet" doesn't work sometimes, so I went for the decant rather than a bottle straight-away. In the vial: simple syrup and a slight cassis fruitiness. Au bras: the sweet and simple fragrance of a young girl. This reminds me of a Lilly of the Valley fragrance stick that I had as a girl. Sweet, floral and off to swaps.

This was one of the blends that had me on the fence about ordering Ala-Ga-Zaam! Je n'aime pas les cerises, but I hoped that the other delightful elements of this fragrance might over-power the dreaded cherry. In the vial: dark cherry ice cream. Wet: Les cerises! Bah! Dry: The verbena starts to come through, but not enough to overwhelm the scary cherry. Off to swaps with ye!

I've only recently discovered Dorian (I know, the shame, it should have been in my first order) so I was trememdously excited when I heard that Theodosius was similar to Dorian. They were wrong. Theodosius is Dorian's tres sexay mysterious older brother who's been away for awhile having amazing adventures that astound those who hear his tales, however the real stories are those that are entwined in his soul, those he won't discuss. In the vial this scent is masculine and brooding. Wet, I thought this scent was too manly for me to wear. Once dry however, the vanilla tames the musk and the scent is suitable for a man or a woman. Must acquire a bottle ASAP.

I received an imp of this scent from my lovely decanter In the vial: sweetened green tea Wet: Green tea, herbs and a wisp of mint Dry: I love tea scents and this is divine. I need a bottle ASAP.

In the vial: sweet floral Wet: *strong* powdery floral. I don't smell patchouli at all. Dry: very strong powdery floral. This blend made me sneeze. Off to swaps!
-
In the vial: bright ozone scent. Very clean, however it does remind me of the Yankee Candle Car Jar that I use. Wet:Crisp and clean. Dry: A very pleasant scent, but I will use it as a room scent rather than perfume.
-
In the vial: spicy, musky and fruity. Yummy! Wet: fruity, spicy and uh, oh...plastic. Dry: I smell like autumn potpourri. Alas, this imp is off to swaps.
-
In the vial: Red fruit and strong floral. On: Strong fruity floral. I am not smelling myrrh at all. Dry: Strojng fruity floral. This scent does not have the depth or darkness that I thought the myrhh and frankincense would provide. My imp is off to swaps.

In the vial: the aldehyde smell Wet: reminsicent of Chanel #5 Dry. To my nose this is very similar to Chanel #5. Very pretty, but not something I would chose to wear,
-
In the vial: soft white floral. I am very surprised b/c I've always thought of Pele as the Hawaiian Goddess of Fire. Wet: Gardenias Dry: Gardenia and white musk. This scent must represent the gentler side of the Goddess. I was expecting something spicy, strong and fire-y. This scent is a lovely surprise though. Perhaps the Goddess in repose.

In the vial: green, aquatic and gardenia Wet: Wow, I wasn't expecting this to have a floral note. This scent reminds me of flower scented breezes on a Carribean island. Dry: This is a beautiful, fresh scent. I will enjoy the imp and I may order a 5 ml.
-
In the vial: spicy, sweetly herbal and a hint of smoke. Wet: This is a really complex scent. Spicy, a hint of smoke and slightly earthy. Dry: This scent reminds me of the scent of a hot stone spa treatment. Warm, earthy and with a hint of herbs, including the barest breath of mint. I would recommend this scent to anyone who enjoys earth scents. I think this fragrance can be worn by men and women.

In the bottle: grapefruit! Wet: grapefuit and tropical florals. So far this does not remind me of Manhattan. Dry: Oh, another super morpher! Once this scent dries down the leather becomes more forward and the amber and teakwood start to shine. On me this is a very feminine leather scent. It reminds me of the scent of fabulous shoes purchased at a boutique or very upscale department store. I will certainly enjoy my imp and possibly purchase a 5 ml.
-
In the bottle: resin and musk. Wet: resin, musk and leather. Dry: This is one of the most wonderful scents ever! This reminds me of walking into a warm cozy tack room after a long hard ride. I don't know if women should wear leather scents, but I am certainly going to wear this one. This scrumptious scent would make any man swoon-worthy.
-
In the bottle: verbena! Wet: lemon verbena Dry: This scent really morphed as I was wearing it. At first it was straight-up lemon verbena. Over time the musk and opium smoke notes came out. I think this scent would be wonderful on a man.

In the bottle: moderate musk, sweet herbs, dark fruit. The musk is the very first note that I smell. Wet: Very complex with the musk still as the dominant note. To my nose this is in the Smut family, but not as smutty as Smut. Dry: This is a warm, very sexy scent, but it is not over the top. This scent is long lasting and has great throw. The vanilla note becomes more dominant as the scent morphs over time. This is the perfect "empowered woman" scent. -
In the bottle: green tea, lime and mint. Wet: Hello Mojito! Dry: The green tea has come back as the dominant note. It is accented by citrus and a bit of mint. The is similar to Bulgari The Verte, very crisp and refreshing. I think this scent would be equally delightful on men and women.

In the vial: crystallized violet candy. Wet: uber violet. Dry: Crystallized violet candy. Violet is one of those notes that can go either way for me. Some scents with a violet note are great (The Raven) and others just don't work for me. This snake will have to go dance with someone else.
-
In the vial: juicy floral Wet: candy floral and sheer musk Dry: candy floral and sheer musk. I didn't smell coconut in this at all I am finding that my skin really amps some iris notes. Black Pearl is a pretty scent, but not the coconut goodness for which I'd hoped.
-
In the vial: aquatic mint. Wet: aquatic mint and sweet faint earthiness. Dry: Uh, oh. I just had a major scent memory of a BF who chewed Skoal.
-
In the vial: jasmine, with something darker lurking. Very interesting. Wet: jasmine and...? Dry: this scent dried down to strong jasmine. You will love this scent if you are a fan of jasmine.

I've been wanting to try this blend and I was thrilled to receive it as a frimp from The Lab In the vial: strong herbal, slightly medicinal smell. Wet: a very complex blend; dark, herbal and masculine Dry: Too masculine for me to wear as perfume, but this blend would be fabulous on the right person.

In the bottle: I smell benzoin Wet: benzoin and powdery floral. Dry: Powder
