I smell feminine floral (the orchid and stephanotis I presume) and the sweet, warm vanilla mingling and carefully overlapping one another on my wrist. It's soft, and pretty - I detect no sharpness or green. I am not a floral lover, and I once thought Queen of Hearts was my favorite floral BPAL oil...but I now have both on seperate wrists and I think Regan is my new favorite.

I really like this one! Luck would have it, I got this as a gift. Grapefruit leaps out at first, but ultimately everything mellows out to a light fruity, clean scent (not soapy, but fresh). Downside is that I had to reapply this later in the day to enjoy the fragrance some more...upside is that I bothered to reapply. Happy to have found a keeper

Gorgeous, feminine floral that isn't sharp or green but yet not quite powdery either. Perhaps it's the cherry that gives it that sweet pop it needs to stay vibrant. If it's overapplied I can see it becoming overwhelming, I must always use a light hand. I am not a floral nor cherry fan, so to consider this one of my favorite BPAL oils is quite a statement.

First word that comes to mind with Gluttony: Thick. Thick, rich, flavored-coffee scent. It's got the dry bitterness of coffee mixed with flavors of buttery toffee, caramel, vanilla...etc. Unfortunately it's all so jumbled in there that it's hard to distinguish between delicious flavors and a thick, sickly sweetness. It comes and goes for me. Not a re-order.

A very pretty, slightly sweet fruity floral! Reminds me of something sensual-but-not-overbearing that Victoria's Secret might market. But nicer of course! Not sure what else I can write that many other eloquent reviewers before me haven't written.

The way I test my oils: Sniff the bottle, apply to wrist, let it sit without any sniffing for at least 5 minutes to get my real first impression. Unfortunately, Lightning has been one of the very few that when I took my first big sniff, I recoiled with what must have been an ugly grimace. Nothing like what I expected (what I expected was crisp, clean ozone/marine). I couldn't put a finger on it but after reading through previous reviews I think I agree with some others who've said "air freshener" or "cleaning fluid". I'd say it smells like a morph of the two.

At first I couldn't place the scent...I knew it reminded me of something. The second time I wore it, it came to me: Glade Berries candle scent. I've never been fond of berry scents to begin with, but when I finally hit the nail on the head it just sealed the deal. Carnal is a very sweet, fruity scent...very deep, juicy, syrupy berry.

I don't get any cinnamon or spice (which would've been nice actually), just some sweet floral scent that dries down a little soft/powdery. Perhaps something I'd liken to pikake or frangipani. It's a pretty scent...just not something I'd pick up alot.

I must agree with anybody who wrote "grapes". That's exactly what I got upon first dab on the wrist. It does soften out to a clean scent, but that fruity sweetness does linger.

Mmm. This is the "yum inducer" that I'd hoped Sugar Cookie would be. It's heavenly nutmeg and a touch of baked dough. It's even got that slight bite that true gingerbread has...I assume that's clove & cinnamon in there. I slathered this on. This says alot, as due to the usual potency of BPAL oils I've never slathered.

Okay, I'm not sure if I got a mislabeled one since nobody else's reviews mention this - but I swear that this just smells like a stronger version of Snake Oil. Perhaps Snake Oil with a kick? It was a pleasant surprise considering I got this as a freebie, I adore Snake Oil and I was running low.

In the Bottle: A baked goodness under a blanket of cinnamon. On skin: Pretty much the same, cinnamon swimming over the light sweetness of a cookie. Dry: Cinnamon. My skin seems to turn whatever else is in here to a musty remnant and leaves only spiciness behind. I'm going to let this bottle sit for a while, sometimes I have luck letting the oils age, we'll see!
