I love, love, love this. In the bottle, I thought it smelled kind of weird - indescribably weird - but I gave it a try, anyway. It was honey and spices and buttercream and all kinds of delicious. This is one of the few scents that changed very little on me for the day that I wore it - the staying power was absolutely excellent. Definitely one I'll be needing a big bottle of!

I gave Lady Macbeth a whirl today and since I've been trying out BPAL stuffs, I got my first negative reaction from someone. She thought I smelled like liquid Skittles and called it "icky." I'm on the fence about it. I can smell sweetness and berries and candy at first. After about a half day, those scents were still there but they were slowly fading out and into something kind of powdery, though not overpoweringly so, and a lot more gentle than the initial spark. Pretty good staying power. After the comment from the person who didn't like it, I though I shouldn't like it, either, but as the day went on, it kind of grew on me. It's definitely not something I think I would wear all the time but for more fun times, this is perfect (at least for me). At the very least, I'll give it another test - just not around the woman who didn't like it.

I wasn't sure about this at first. In the bottle, it smelled like it had gone off or something - like bad sweat. I put on a tiny bit and it first smelled like musky skin and honey - a good combination. After a couple hours, it turned to baby powder, which was actually turning my stomach. Later in the day, it went back to honey, though nothing but honey. I'll definitely have to give it another try to see if maybe I can't work past the powder phase. Otherwise, it's quite an enticing scent.

In the container, I got a huge whiff of something alcoholic and fruity, maybe a little metallic, too. First on, very strongly scented cherry, to the point of being medicinal. Also, a little smoky. After wearing for the past 8 hours, the cherries are still evident, though no longer medicinal. Kind of honeyed over and with a bit of vanilla in the background. Good staying power for me.

Ahhh. Straight up gingerbread from start to finish, with a wee bit of cinnamon and sugar dusted over the top. Very yummy.

In the container, this reminded me of cherry cola, very smooth but a tiny little bit of sharpness in there. On my skin, it turned to cinnamon and vanilla and by the end of the day, it seemed to smell like milk and honey. Very warm, earthy, and at least to me, not too sweet. Lasted a long time amd I got a lot of compliments on this one.

Wet and dry, this is chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting, though not tooth-achingly sweet. Absolutely delicious, though not subtle, if that's what you're after. It does wonders for my mood - it's a very happy scent. Definitely one I will be getting at least a 5ml of, for sure. Yum.

Through out, from wet, almost til the last bit fades away, I get spices and musk. Very deep and sexy musk. It took me a bit to get used to - at first, I thought it might be a wee bit too incense-y but after I wore it a while and it settled in, it was really a great scent. The staying power was really good - after about 12 hours, I noticed it had faded quite a bit into a warm-skin smell. Definitely one that will get some heavy use.

Both in the bottle and when I first put this on, I was strongly reminded of Fruit Stripe gum. After about an hour, the scent has completely dissipated and I could not smell it on me at all. Kind of disappointing, though I'll try it again, and maybe be a wee bit more heavy-handed this time as I really do like the way it smells.

Wet, I smell vanilla and something a little floral but fruity - not sure exactly what. Dry, I get a little vanilla but mostly a musly floral scent. After a couple hours, it faded to just musk - very warm and clean. I like this one a lot.

In the container, this smells like very lemony tea - very crisp and maybe a little spicy. For the first half hour on, I get the same scent. After that point, I am getting still the lemony scent but more toned down and honeyed than crisp and sharp. This is a very comforting scent.

In the bottle, I get the sense of herbs, with some lavender and maybe a tiny hint of lemon. On my skin, it immediately went creamy, with a warm, earthy, and maybe a tiny bit herbal but mostly a very soft, lemony scent. Very comforting - I spent the whole day being reminded of snuggling in a very cozy bed. Good staying power, too - after 18 hours, it still smells largely the same, which I find to be a rarity. This is definitely going into heavy rotation.
