    On me, Veil smells exactly like Choward's Violet Mints. While thats nice and brings back pleasant memories, I feel like the straight violet smell I'm getting is a little astringent/soapy for me to want to wear. If only the other notes wanted to come out to play. As much as I love the idea of violet, my experience with Le Serpents Qui Danse and now Veil has confirmed that it's just not for me.
