Ridiculous indeed! This such an odd scent, I'm not exactly sure how to describe it. In the imp I get what I assume is the kumquat and the white pepper. It's not spicy though, it's very fruity and sweet. I wasn't sure how I felt about it the first time I tried it, so I put it away for a few months. Picked up again the other day and woah! I had forgotten how sweet it was! Once it touches my skin it just gets sweeter and sweeter and sweeter until its barely bearable. It's also quite strong. I put a bit on and the boy could smell it from the other end of the room. Usually he likes catching whiffs of what I'm wearing, but this one he had to stop and comment on how overwhelmingly sweet it smelled. I tried to wash it off and all I was able to do was tone it down somewhat. And it lasted for hours. I really wanted to like this one, but it was too ridiculously sweet. Like those super sugary cereals I just can't have because of how sweet they are, it's almost painful to eat.

I love the sage and basil in this, but it quickly becomes overwhelmed by something very powdery (ambergris? its the only note in this I haven't tried before). I caught hints of it in the imp but it was just too much on my skin. I might try this one on the boy to see if it works any better on him, because it is simply too powdery for my liking when I wear it to keep otherwise.

This is pine sap. A lot of pine sap and eucalyptus. I wasn't sure about this one in the imp because of all that pine, but I gave it a chance and tried it. On my skin it is still predominantly pine sap and eucalyptus, but it doesn't feel artificial at all. Reminds me of tripping in the woods, and getting up to finding pine needles on your hands. Not very feral, but definitely smells like you're outside somewhere secluded. And surprisingly I didn't find it very masculine on me. While I didn't care much for it at first, I found that I couldn't stop thinking about it, so I tried it again. And again. And then finally admitted to myself that I really liked Loup Garou and sent pine a note saying: "I like you. Do you like me? Y/Y" The one thing keeping me from loving this scent is the lack of staying power. If he stayed around longer, I'd actually consider a bottle.

In the bottle this one is strong! I'm blasted by the tobacco first and foremost. I then catch a sharpness from the pine and a sweet edge thanks to the almond milk and sarsaparilla. It's pretty delicious! On my skin it's not as strong. While fresh it's mostly tobacco and pine, which I love. As it dries down the pine takes a backseat to the almond milk and isn't as sharp. It's still definitely there but everything is softened and sweetened by the almond milk and sarsaparilla. It's a very unusual scent, and not what I thought it would smell like. All in all I LOVE this scent! Good throw and it lasts a good long time. Even after its been several hours and its faded, I keep catching whiffs of it. Delicious. So glad I took a chance on a bottle I found for sale.

I love all the notes in this and was really hoping for an amazing fizzy citrus scent, which is what I am dying to find. Unfortunately, it was not. However, it is still a favourite of mine! In the bottle it's fizzy, delicious rum. I get very little orange in the bottle. It feels light, playful, and fun. It really is a tropical drink! On my skin it's mostly the same. A fizzy soda + rum concoction! Thankfully I love rum scents- its seriously one of my favourite notes- so it works out. It's also pretty strong! I open the bottle and the whole room smells delicious. After a while the fizziness dies down and I think I smell a couple orange slices in my drink, making it smell more like a rummy cream soda vs just ginger ale and rum. And it lasts and lasts and lasts. I find myself reaching for this one over and over again. Love it! But then again that's no surprise, considering Gnome (fizzy) and Mary Read (rum rum rum) are two other favourites of mine ;3

This one was all Lemongrass in the bottle and on my skin for a while. Thankfully, I love lemongrass After it dries down the jasmine comes out to play and brings a bit of sandalwood with it. The rose thankfully stays somewhere I can't find it, and decides it wants cedar to keep it company (I actually do like cedar, but oh well). Overall, Namaste was a lovely scent and helped me to relax after a rough and stressful start to the day.

I think the lab read my mind. I had been thinking about how I wanted to try a vanilla scent, since I didn't have any, and then this one appeared as a frimp with my bottle order This is also my first Dragon's Blood blend. My first impression sniffing it in the imp: vanilla and kinda floral, though maybe that's the cherry others are getting? On my skin, this turns into warm, creamy vanilla, honey (which I recently discovered works nicely on me), and spice. Very yum! I don't get the medicinal cherry I read a bit about in some reviews, thankfully. I must say, I quite like this one. Dragon's Milk is so sweet, warm, and comforting, that the boy and I felt extra lovable while I was wearing it ;3 And it lasts a good long while! Overall, I like it and will be using my imp. We'll see whether or not I decide to get a bottle.

A friend of mine gave me this one after she sniffed it and really didn't like it. And to be honest, in the imp it didn't smell too pleasant to me either. But today I was going through which imps I had yet to try and decided to give it a chance. In the imp it has a kind of sour smell, which I am thinking might be the wine. It smells pretty unpleasant on me for the first few minutes- and its pretty strong. But after giving it a couple minutes to start drying and calm down, the sour note disappears and is replaced with a really warm, sweet rich honey. From what other reviews have said, I am guessing the warmth and spiciness is from the myrrh (its pretty yum) and I also get some faint pretty floral notes that keep the sweetness of the honey from being sickening. After a couple hours the warmth starts to fade, but the sweetness of the honey hangs around for quite a bit. It's grown on me, so I will most likely be holding onto this one to test a couple more times.

Oh rum- sweet, delicious, warm and buttery rum! I was very interested in this scent and had a bottle of it in my cart before even trying it. Luckily, I got an imp of Mary Read as a gift, and immediately after trying it bought the bottle. To me, its mostly a warm, buttery rum, with leather (which usually doesn't like me) and a bit of smokiness from the gunpowder. I get the saltiness, and ocean mist, but on me the rum and leather dominate. Which is great because I love everything about rum Mary Read is a dangerous yet sexy lady and I love it.

I have come to the conclusion that I just really love citrusy scents and anything with ginger in it. Which is awesome, because they love me too. I am definitely enjoying this relationship. After spending most of the day feeling pretty dragged down and wearing a heavy scent to match my mood, I decided to at least give my night a fresh start and put on Kumiho. Now I regret not putting this one on to begin with. Its fresh, clean and energizing. Its a nice wake me up without the sharpness of the Lightning I was wearing yesterday (which I also found to be clean and energizing, but definitely more charged). I feel more awake, but calm, especially so since I'm enjoying it with a cup of tea. Keep catching myself giving my wrists a good sniff, haha The citrus and white tea are most prominent, but the ginger is there in the background for a bit of that energizing kick I like. It's unfortunate that Kumiho, like other lighter scents I have tried, is such a fast fader. It pretty much combines some of my favourite things into one beautiful blend. Definitely will be holding on to this one though.

This one took me by surprise by how sharp it was. It's a cold hard rain, and when I first put it on I'm completely enveloped in it. But it quickly starts to fade and it goes from a total downpour to a steadier more calming rainfall. But it still keeps an edge of danger that I'm finding myself attracted to. It's got a bit of the ocean, a hint of citrus, and a lot of rain. It makes me feel a little homesick for Miami, haha Overall, while I spent some time uncertain about it, I think I have come to like this one. It fades quickly, going from a hard rainstorm to a drizzle in only a few hours, but I enjoy the time that it's there.

In the bottle I definitely smell grapefruit. It's mostly bitter, but with a hint of sweetness. Once on it's pretty light and smells a bit like handsoap. But that soon goes away and its all tart grapefruit and that slight sweetness I can't exactly place (the apple blossom?). Not getting much of the ginger, which is a shame because I completely love ginger, but it's not bad without it. It has just enough to give this a bite. Overall I found Baobhan Sith to be a light, fresh scent. I'm not completely certain how I feel about it, though a friend of mine really loved it. I would probably like it better if it stuck around longer. Definitely plan on trying it again though. I have a feeling this one is going to really grow on me. EDIT: It's been a good long while since my first review of this and I just had to come back and change it. I am totally in love with Baobhan Sith! I have to restrain myself from picking it up most days in order to save whats left of my precious imp. It still is a fast fader, which is what has kept me from buying a bottle so far, but I may have to cave and get a bottle anyway. And perhaps a scent locket so the wonderful grapefruit scent will stay around longer.

I can definitely smell everything described. In the bottle its very earthy. I smell fig and dirt. Its strong, but not unpleasant. It doesn't smell like a dirty dirt, but instead rather comforting. Once on the fig stays strong, but I'm definitely getting patchouli and oakmoss. Sniffing it I imagine a barefoot walk through the forest, my toes digging into soft soil. Little mushrooms start to poke out after it dries down a bit. It's not entirely sweet, which I like. After a while of uncertain sniffing, I'm starting to like this one. I love fig, so I think this one is a keeper. Going to need to play around with it some more before I decide if its a favourite or not.

Got this one from a friend, and I just have to say that I love it. I wasn't certain how a darker scent would work on me, but I decided to give it a try and wasn't disappointed. In the bottle it smells almost sweet, but definitely deep and dark thanks to the musk. And what is that, a hint of what, eucalyptus? On me it starts incredibly strong, but mellows out really nicely. The way a friend described it was that she could definitely smell it on me but it didn't "hit her over the head". She- along with a couple other friends I was with- could not stop sniffing me, haha. Czernobog stays a sweet dark musk that just smells delicious and lasts for hours. This one is definitely a favourite of mine now.

I love leather and was really excited to try this one, especially after reading all the reviews. Rogue is my favourite class, and I was imagining something beautifully deep and woodsy with well-worn leather. But all I got was ... Powder? This smelled so good in the bottle, but my skin apparently doesn't like this one. At all. It just turned into a powerful powdery scent that I really don't like. Ahhh can't win em all I guess. Might try this one on my boyfriend before passing it on.

In the bottle, this one had a sharp sweet kind of scent, with little smoke, so I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about it despite originally being very excited to try it. However, after I decided to give it a try the smokiness came through and I was very pleased. It wasn't the hot flame kind of smell I was hoping for, but a very pleasant incense smoke that made me feel calm and warm despite today being a grey rainy day. This one did not last very long though. Next time I will try to add a little more than I did this time, or will just have to reapply. Overall, I really liked Djinn. And my friend could not stop sniffing me, haha

Light, fizzy, and playful, I was surprised how much I enjoyed Gnome (since I never play as a Gnome). I got this as a frimp and while I don't know if I will want a bigger bottle of this one, I can see myself enjoying it occasionally especially with summer on the way. I had a friend check it out while I was wearing it and she said she could smell something she described as "dusty", or rather smokey, which I was pleased with since to me I get mostly a sweet fizzy ginger. Several hours later, its definitely faded, but still there Edit: So I have decided that this one is officially a favourite of mine. Oh Gnome, why must you smell so good on me ...

I got Infereno as a frimp with my first BPAL order and while I was expecting something a lot hotter, I still really like the smell of this one, both in the bottle and on my skin. As others have said, its very Red Hot Candy. It went from almost too sweet to a warmer, spicier cinnamon candy smell on me. I don't get much almond from this one though. Unfortunately, my usually non-sensitive skin had a reaction to Inferno, which saddened me. It didn't itch or burn, but the red marks were a little unsightly. I will either have to pass this one on or save it for days I'm either wearing long sleeves or have my hair down to cover my neck, haha.

I threw Imp in with my first BPAL order at the request of the boyfriend, and I certainly wasn't disappointed! Its a nice sweet scent, but kept from being overwhelmingly sweet thanks to the musk. It's fun and playful, but with an edge of mischief, which seems to suit me really well. Imp lasted a nice long time on me, and the boy loved it too (or that's what I assume because he couldn't keep his hands off me ;3). Definitely a keeper~
