Kunstkammer meets fruit punch. Bleh.

In the imp: Tea? Lemons? On my skin: Light, lovely. Not usually the sort of scent that I like, but I actually think this one is pretty. A keeper of an imp, but not something I’d want a full bottle of.
-
In the imp: Grassy? But a pleasant type of grass, not the way green notes usually go sour on me. On my skin: The florals start to come out, with maybe a citrus floating around. Maybe a tea note? After I reveal the name/notes to myself: What was I possibly talking about before? I guess it was the heliotrope that was giving me the floral note. It’s a bit nicer in here than it is in Gold Phoenix. I don’t smell any wasabi. Is it the rooibos that is giving me the grass note? All in all, not bad, but not great. 20 minutes later: Eugh. It's kind of settled into a really weird grass-musk note that doesn't work. Swap.

Looking for a BPAL that Resembles a Favorite Perfume

I found Beautiful and Adored to be a dead ringer for Clinique Happy Heart. It was awesome. -
Vetimyrrh. From wet to drydown. Unlike all of you, i'm not even really getting the leather over the thick, resiny, stab-me-in-the-nose pair of vetiver and myrrh.

I love wine scents, and I love clove scents. This, however, on me is neither. It's pure bubblegum

It smells like a grown-up Kumiho to me. Love it! Mmmm.

This is one that I go back and forth between loving and hating. I just can't tell. I love leather, but I hate snake oil (*gasp* I know, right?) But sometimes I don't even smell the leather in this. It just smells... cloying.

It's all cinnamon and dragon's blood to me- not a hint of clove, the possible hint of pepper. It does wake up my nose, though. There's just something cloying about it that doesn't make it work so well on me. And I really want it to, because I love the idea of the sins collection.

In my red imp box, I've got the imps that I like, but haven't gotten a bottle of (yet). Some I'm still testing out, some I know I'm actively ISO, some I like enough to wear the imp but don't want a bottle. So this list doesn't really belong on my wishlist, per se, but I wanted somewhere to put it. A Blot Upon the Earth Arachne of Lydia Athens Autumn Cider The Black Apple of Saturn Body, Remember Brom Bones Carnal Dancing Koi Dragon's Musk Eclipse Gluhwein The Golden Apple of the Sun The Grand Inquisitor's Heretic's Fork Haunted Horreur Sympathique Jareth La Petite Mort Lust Mango Lychee Champagne Narrow Opening Nosferatu Playful Wooden Mallets Rivet.Goth Sea of Tranquility Sin Trinket Western Diamondback BPTP: Fruitbat Fruitbath Bath Oil decant Snake Oil Bath Oil decant Possets: Testosterone

On my skin, this smells exactly like The Smiling Spider and Arachne of Lydia. I suppose I just really amp that one bitter clove note! Which is strange, because the clove doesn't kill me when it's listed as "Sweet clove" or "zanzibar clove"

Skin musk, slick black leather and wet latex with dark myrrh, patchouli, opoponax. It smells exactly like A Blot Upon the Earth on me... opoponax amping, I suppose?

Evil gnome fighter- a little bizarre, but I like it a lot. Most of what I'm grabbing from fighter is the blood note, darkening Gnome's effervescence. Adding evil to the mix made it even darker, but mostly like a lovely smoke note. So, a bloody, smoky gnome.

On me, I couldn't smell it until I slathered. At that point, it morphed from air freshener to men's cologne, quickly. Something smells like sandalwood, and I'm not getting the salt or the leather at all! I really wanted to like this one, because I love leather scents, but this one just isn't it.

In the imp: Ewwwwwww. Like everyone else, this wasn't appealing to me at all before putting it on. Wet: All I could smell was the vetiver, and it was still incredibly overwhelming. Dry: Once it dried, though, the vetiver completely vanished, and it morphed to pure patchouli. That was nice, but strange!
