I have finally found a BPAL apple agrees with me. No coconut rum here, just caramel apple that is so yummy. It reminds me of Starbucks Caramel Apple Spice. If I could only NOM NOM on my arm and it tasted like that, I believe I could be in sensory heaven.

WHY HELLO THERE PEPPER-SMOKED PEPPER! Did you come out of the spice cabinet to attack my nose? Where, oh where is your friend Dark Chocolate? Or maybe caramel? Pepper, you were supposed to accompany chocolate and also accentuate the flavor of caramel. Instead, I believe you murdered both of them because they are no where in this decant. Maybe you were jealous and afraid they were going to steal your glory. Seriously, this is nothing but smoked black pepper on me. None of the chocolate and caramel I was so longing to enjoy, JUST PEPPER.

On me, this smells like a cross of insect repellent and bad air freshener. I haven't had it on for five minutes and it has already given me a headache. Of course, this doesn't smell like the New Orleans I have been to. If it did, I would never go back.

I wanted SOOOOO bad to smell like chocolate and cream. Unfortunately, I smelled like a TINY bit of chocolate and NAIL POLISH REMOVER. I will hold onto this until I finish up my lupron shots. Maybe my body chemistry will agree then.

I have been acquiring imps like crazy lately, but sticking with my favorites. I decided to try Anne Bonny this morning and WOW!!! This is wonderful. I keep seeing myself at the dock at my family's lakehouse during the summer. My cousins and I would crawl out of the water and dry off with our towels. We would still be chilly so we would lay our towels out on the catwalk to lay in the sun. The water from our sopping wet towels soaked into the wood. The sun would heat up the damp wood and you could smell it all around you. The warm breeze would blow over you and it smelled so heavenly. This is probably the first BPAL scent that evoked such great memories. I could add so many more smilies to express how I feel about this.

Why did I have to discover you now?? You are not enraged at all, dear bunny. You are soft, musky, clover and powder all combined into one wonderful scent. You are made of awesomeness. I am very mad that I only have an imp. I want a bottle for sure!

Why can't I get the lovely apple smell everyone else gets? On me: Oh hi, my name is apple. No, get away from me plastic shrink wrap. YOU ARE SMOTHERING ME! PLEASE STOP!!!! I tried to wait for it to dry down, but couldn't. I washed it off very quickly.

On me, this smelled almost exactly like apple jack & peel potpourri my friend's mom was in love with. I had to immediately wash it off. I love apple scents, but Beth's apples don't seem to work with my chemistry.

I am trying to enable a friend. Her favorite perfume is Jovan Fresh Patchouli. I can't find anything about it on the basenotes website. Here is the description from the Jovan website. Can anyone help with recommendations for something similar to this?

Love, love, love!!! I must rid myself of the 4-year old diva in my house so I can ravage the hubby soon! This is the first BPAL scent I will definitely order a full bottle of. Note to self: Don't put this on before going out to dinner with friends. Very hard to concentrate
