In Bottle: I'm probably smelling the plum note, because it's reminding me a bit of Bordello, which also has plum. On Skin: The first 30 seconds or so it's a bit odd, but then I definitely get the floral notes the most. It's a nice, sweet scent that isn't overpowering. And despite my initial comparison, it's quite different from Bordello. Dry-Down: As it's drying, I'm starting to smell the plum note a bit more again, and then later the cream shows up, or at least I think it does. Final verdict: I think the more I wear it, the more I like it, and I already liked it to begin with. The first time I tried it on, I worried I might be allergic to it since I was having sneezing fits while I wore it, but I tried it on again today and was just fine. I'll probably just stick with the decant in case I do turn out to be allergic or something, but it's a very nice scent.

In Bottle: Smells kind of like caramel popcorn actually! Sweet and yummy. On Skin: Now I'm actually smelling the notes that are in this, particularly the peach and spices. Also sweet and yummy, but in a different way. Dry-Down: This one definitely lasts a while on me. I took a shower while wearing this (I forgot I had it on), but I could still faintly smell it afterwards. Final verdict: Keeping the imp for sure. I may splurge on a bottle some day.

In Bottle: Didn't really get a chance to smell it in the imp because I accidentally spilled some upon opening it and had to scramble to rub as much of it on my arms as possible. Luckily it mostly landed on my fingers, but some got on the label. )= On Skin: Oh my god. This is hands down already one of my favorites, if not my favorite. I mostly get the plum and a hint of what I think is the amaretto, but it's a subtle scent that's sweet without being too sweet. Dry-Down: I'm pretty much smelling my wrist constantly. I'm not sure if I really smell the wine note, but the perfume does seem to age well like wine would. Final verdict: I'm going to get a bottle of this in the future for sure. I absolutely love this scent.

Sleek, dark, and ominous. Violet and neroli mingled with iris, white sandalwood and dark musk. In Bottle: I can smell it from a considerable distance. I have a feeling this one will have some throw. I think I smell more of the sandalwood and neroli than the floral notes. On Skin: The first whiff smelled strange and kind of unpleasant (reminded me of a wet dog or something), but luckily that only lasted for about a split second before becoming a nice floral with a hint of the sandalwood. For some reason I keep wanting to describe wood notes as smelling "spicy", even though they're not spice notes. In any case, I like it. Also it actually doesn't have as much throw as I expected it to. Dry-Down: This one lasts several hours on me and continues to smell absolutely lovely the whole way through. It's a sweet scent that isn't overly sweet. The floral notes are definitely the most prominent as it fades.

In Bottle: Lightly spicy and sweet. I'd give more details, except every time I go to open the imp ear again to try to give a better description, I manage to get some of the oil on my fingers. >: On Skin: Thankfully this one doesn't seem to have cinnamon (I love the smell of cinnamon, but I'm one of those people whose skin breaks out with it unfortunately). It does have lots of other lovely, subtle spice notes though. Dry-Down: Continues to be nice and subtly spicy. I'd still be pressed to figure out exactly which spices are in this mix, but I really enjoy this scent.

In Bottle: A strong, sweet scent. Definitely getting both the cherry and anise notes. On Skin: Smells like licorice candy! Getting the anise more than the cherry, but it still smells sweet. It also has much more throw than the other samples I've tried, but isn't as overwhelming as I expected it to be. Dry-Down: This one certainly lasts longer than some of the others I've tried! About four hours later I can still faintly smell licorice on my wrist. Final verdict: This was another sample from my friend captnklaus. I actually tried it on once before and found the anise a bit overpowering, but this time around I enjoyed it, so I'll definitely be keeping it.

In Bottle: Definitely smelling the sage and a little bit of the berries. It's sweet and kind of refreshing. On Skin: Now I'm mostly getting the berry notes, but I also smell a bit of mint strangely enough. Or maybe that's the green tea. Either way, it smells really nice. Dry-Down: It's starting to remind me of a blackberry-vanilla perfume I have from Bath and Body works, but with a bit of the sage note coming back. This was another sample from my friend captnklaus. I think it's one of my favorites of the ones she gave me. This is definitely another keeper, and one that I may eventually get a bottle of.

In Bottle: Ooh, I already like this one! Smells kind of sweet, but there's also something else there. Maybe it's the musk notes? On Skin: Sweet and yummy-smelling. Kind of getting some vanilla in there for some reason, as well as the coconut. Haven't picked out the other notes yet though. Dry-Down: I still smell the coconut, and the other notes are a bit more noticeable now too. This was another sample from my friend captnklaus. I'm keeping the imp ear for sure. I like the scent enough for a bottle, but while it lasted longer than some of the other samples I tried today, it's still fading pretty quickly. >: If it does turn out to last longer, then I'll definitely consider a bottle some time in the future.

In Bottle: Kind of hard to smell this one. The imp ear I got from my friend captnklaus doesn't have much left in it though, so that could be a factor. On Skin: Smells a bit soapy. I can't make out the citrus notes at all, or any of the other notes for that matter. Dry-Down: Like Lady of Shallott, this one faded pretty fast on me. This was also a sample from my friend captnklaus, and unfortunately I don't think I'll be keeping this one. It's too bad, because from the description it sounded lovely, but it's just too soapy on me. Edit: I decided to give it another try, and it actually smells much better today! I definitely get the lemon notes along with some spiciness (or maybe that's the sandalwood). I also used a bit more today, because I think part of why I had difficulty smelling it properly before is that I only used a very small amount for the sampling. I may keep it around after all.

In Bottle: It smelled kind of odd and strong to me at first. Like, I don't know exactly how to describe it but it was definitely strange. I smelled it again and it was more like a floral-ish cologne. On Skin: This is another scent where I think I may prefer it on my skin over how it smells in the bottle. Floral, but with something else to it that I also can't really describe. It's a strong scent, but it isn't at all overpowering. In fact, the throw is somewhat mild. Dry-Down: Pretty much the same as when I put it on, except milder. I've had it on for at least an hour and it still hasn't faded entirely, which is good since the last two samples I tried faded much sooner than that. This was a sample given to me by my friend captnklaus. I liked this one a lot more than I thought I would. I'll definitely be using the rest of my imp ear, and would even consider getting a bottle!

In Bottle: Kind of cologne-y. I think I'm smelling the aquatic notes more than anything. On Skin: Definitely getting more of the gardenia note, and it smells sweeter and more floral than it did in the bottle. I actually prefer it on my skin. Dry-Down: It doesn't seem to last long. I put it on maybe twenty minutes ago and it's already pretty much faded. There isn't much throw; even when I press my nose to my wrist I can only faintly smell the floral notes. This was a sample given to me by my friend captnklaus. I do enjoy the scent, so I'll definitely be using the rest of the imp ear, but I don't know if I'd splurge for a bottle since it fades so quickly on me.

In Bottle: Very sweet and cinnamony. Reminds me of Red Hot candies, like others have said, but for me it's a good thing. On Skin: Still smells like Red Hots, but I think I'm getting more of the other notes now too. Dry-Down: Unfortunately a few minutes in, my wrist is starting to itch a bit and there's a red mark, so I had to wash it off. I tried this on once before and didn't have any issues with it, but it looks like my skin may be too sensitive for this one after all. Which is a shame because I really do enjoy the scent. My friend captnklaus gave me a bunch of samples to try, including this one because she also had trouble with the cinnamon note. Looks like I might have to give it up too, unless I can use it for a scent locket.

In Bottle: A strong, woody scent. A bit intense for me, but let's see how it goes with my skin. On Skin: Still woody, but not as powerful as it is in the bottle, which for me is a good thing. It smells very clean and fresh. Dry-Down: I'm getting a bit more of the herby notes, which is probably the sage and maybe the bay leaf. Has a light to medium-ish throw, and I can still faintly smell it after about four hours. This was one of the two free imps that came with my purchase of Strawberry Moon 2012. It was also a scent I wanted to try anyway, so I'm glad I was given the chance to sample it! While I don't know if this scent is "me" enough to splurge on a bottle yet, I do enjoy it very much, and will definitely be using the rest of the imp at the very least. I can also see myself using it as a room scent or on my pillow.

In Bottle: A bit cologne-y but still feminine. I like it. On Skin: Definitely a more "mature" scent to me, at least compared to my bottle of Strawberry Moon, but also with a sweet floral-ness to it. I smell rose, even though I know that's not one of the notes listed, but that could just be what I'm associating the general floral-ness with. In any case, it's very pretty. Dry-Down: Still beautiful, and also quite subtle. It fades after a few hours on me, but I definitely enjoy it while it lasts. This was one of the two free imps that came with my purchase of Strawberry Moon 2012. It was also a scent I wanted to try anyway, so I'm glad I was given the chance to sample it! I'll definitely be using the rest of the imp, and I can see myself maybe getting a bottle of this at some point too.
