Hi Emu. I use CCNow. I ordered 3 5ml's on 15 June and my order is still "Awaiting Shipment". So I think you're ok. If you don't see it changed to "Shipped" in the next week, I think it would be ok to email the Lab to enquire. Hope that helps a little. Velvet

carolsag, I'm so very sorry if you found my post to be disagreeable or insulting in any way; it certainly wasn't my intent. I was merely suggesting that an email directly to the lab might quell the frustation that was so evident in your posts about your order. There was obviously nothing that any of us could do to help you with the problem, but as I said, this board is good for venting if you feel the need. I wasn't suggesting that you shouldn't post your concerns, or that I didn't want to read your posts. Post away, vent away, I certainly intend to. I have learned not to get hyper-sensitive about message board posts. Words and meanings can be easily misinterpreted, as I believe you have misinterpreted mine. Most every online business I've ever seen or bought from says this kind of thing. I think that shipping timelines are fairly predictable, even the USPS gives timelines. It's a given that things sometimes go wrong and could take longer. I just think that 4-6 weeks is more realistic. But whatever....

space, I believe Beth is trying to get rid of CCNow (forgive me if I'm wrong). I agree that the whole "order shipped" thing is extremely misleading on their (CCNow's) part. I thought the same thing. I respectfully suggest that the statement on the website should just indicate that the expected wait for most customers is 4-6 weeks from the date of purchase (a bit longer for international customers). Of course, it's Elizabeth's company and she calls the shots and knows what's best. As I said before, waiting is ok by me personally.

I'm just a recent customer and so far have only received one order from you, Beth. It was perfect and fabulous, and I'm 100 percent ok waiting as long as it takes for you and Brian to get to it. I'd rather wait a long time for quality than to get crap immediately. Love your stuff, Velvet

sgrace, here are the notes in Guerlain's Shalimar: Bergamot/mandarin/cedar/lemon/patchouli/jasmine/rose/orris/vanilla/balsam/ leather. You might want to go to the Search feature of the Lab and start putting in those notes to find a blend or blends that come close to the citrus top/floral middle/woody/vanilla base of Shalimar. Or...you could just email Beth and ask her again; she's the expert.

carolsag, I really feel for you, hun. I have read about 5 posts of yours today on basically every board topic that has anything to do with ordering, all saying basically the same thing. Hope you got everything straightened out. In the future, I'd suggest contacting the lab if you have order problems. We'd all love to help you find your order (and our own!!) but there's not much you can do on the board but vent your frustration.

Mine was deducted before the lab started filling the order, in fact it came out of my account a couple of days after I placed the order. So....I really don't know how to answer your question.

Paraphrasing what starrykitten has already written: carolsag, 'Awaiting Shipment' just basically means that your payment went thru, but the Lab hasn't taken your order off the CCNow list and started to fill it. You will see that 'Awaiting Shipment' for at least a couple of weeks. When you see 'Shipped', it means that the Lab has taken your order off of CCNow and has started filling it. Sounds like your order is ok so far.

Thanx for the pic, Tygher....you've satisfied my curiosity. The 'new' imps look great.

Here's the problem with Q-Tips: the cotton actually absorbs some of the oil, and to me, that's sort of wasting it (yeah, I know it's just a teeny bit, but I want all of that precious oil for ME, not soaked into the cotton!). I like the bobby pin idea, but since it's metallic, I don't want to risk the metal reacting in some funky way with the oil. So....I use cheap little plastic swizzle sticks (which someone already mentioned). Dip it in, use it to swipe the oil, toss. Velvet
