I saw the photo before it was even associated with a perfume. I said I'd buy a bottle of death notes just for the label. Fortunately NOT death notes. I have nothing like this and love it.

When first applied, I was smelling what I thought was civet. I happen to like civet generally so that's cool, but I assume whatever it is is the note some of you are not appreciating as much. However, that fades fairly quickly so I wouldn't think it would be a problem for most. Right now I'm getting mostly oude/iris/steel, not so much frank. I also do like iris but I'm not finding it overly floral though. It is a little sweet, but just a little. Glad I got this one.

#XXII Incense and chocolate for the most part. Edited because I suck at emojis, lol!

This is mostly sweet (and yes, slightly smoky) beeswax for me. And it's freakin' gorgeous!!!

This one is really yummy! There's the pumpkin/pumpkin spice thing going on, but the pistachio switches things up a bit. I like that! Not easy to find a good pistachio note. The frosting is also very yummy (yes, I need a new adjective) but overall it's not too sweet. Oh, and I'm getting a general "baked goods" vibe that I don't always get even when it should be there... love it! I'm glad I have this as the weather changes. It'll be really snuggley and comforting.

Strawberries, crimson musk, and red oudh. Just got this today and I'm liking it Initially all strawberries. Immediately following that there's a note that I thought of as artificial/plastic-y at first but then it actually makes me think of shampoo. (Probably the oudh? Oudh can be such a maverick.) That doesn't really stick around though. It's a very nice strawberry/musk, with yes, a "red" feel to it overall. I put some in my hair then had to go out. Weather-wise, it's on the warm/humid/breezy side here today and I was totally enjoying the scent of this wafting around me.

I just got mine, it's gorgeous! OK, it's pretty much fresh out of the mailbox, but from the bottle & on first spraying I get smokey vanilla which is followed by everything Red (musk, patch, oudh) and amber. The orris is really subtle but lovely. I would absolutely wear this as a perfume too! Or as a hair gloss, bath oil... whatever.

I love this. Fresh out of the mailbox today, mostly orange flower... and spun sugar, white musk... oh I sprayed this like crazy around the computer room and my bedroom. Love it!

Totally-not-healthy breakfast cereals, spilled milk, a smushed bit of banana, and the last gloopy bits of latte foam. This starts out totally bananas! Someone in another thread mentioned getting a sort of red licorice vibe in the bottle and I can see that. While still being bananas, the cereal note comes out next. I don't know what kind of cereal, it's basically a sweet wheat type of note. A hint of milk, it's good & fresh & creamy. Takes a while for the latte to emerge on me, it's kind of subtle. Drying down, these things all work together as a nice, comforting foody scent without any of the notes totally taking over.

A feral beauty. I saw some requests for reviews of this one, so I will give it a shot. I'm not really familiar with red patchouli, but it seems to be the kind of patch that reminds me that it's in the mint family. Not that it's minty, but it's definitely not "hippy/headshop" patch. Not that I have anything against that sort, I like it. I'm not getting a lot of fig, but I think what I am getting is green fig, not really ripe. OK, overall impression is that it's fizzy somehow. Not quite cola, but similar Effervescent and a little spicy. A little bit earthy and less fizzy after a while. "Feral" is not the first adjective that comes to my mind. I'm liking it. It's not that strong but I have dry hair and there is pretty much no humidity in the atmosphere here right now so no surprise. YMMV.

Love this. Works well while wearing Mornings In New Orleans too. The cacao is so good! it keeps it from being too sweet. Would layer nicely with a lot of foody scents, I think.

This reminds me of travelling when I was young. "Breakfast". Coffee shops. It's warm & cozy & makes you think everything is good & fun (vacation associations.) I swear I get a little bit of maple syrup out of this one. Then again, no, that's just me, because I associate everything else I smell here with maple syrup and breakfast-type things. French toast. French toast with powdered sugar. Coffee, obviously. But I wanted to mention everything else it made me think of first, the non-obvious stuff. Also, it's strong. That's always a plus in my book but if you're wearing it to someplace not scent-friendly, use a light hand. For example, your workplace. Then again, how many of your coworkers aren't* caffeine junkies? Then again, the coffee fiends might swarm you if you apply too liberally. You have been warned.

I haven't tried the bath oil or perfume so I can't compare to that. This is just my second hair gloss and I am quickly becoming an addict. This is mostly honey on me. Starts out very strong but then settles down, so it is workplace appropriate as mentioned. I also love what it does for my hair. Total win!
