why YES, yes it does! I wore this one to work today, and I dont think I have ever had so many faces pressed to my body in my life!! There was kind of a riot/orgy. what a fantastic day! Hm, the scent. When I sniffed the imp I thought "yup, I'm gonna hate this one" because generally the incensey/herbaly/spicy blends are terrible on me. but the name is so cool, I just had to try it on. I used a single wand swipe very sparingly on my wrists and one on my neck. It is just spicy and sweet to me, I have no idea of the notes but I can see how some say coca-colaish. The co-workers guesses were all over the place with stuff like patchouli, sandalwood and vanilla. It stayed quite strong for about 4 hours after application, then faded nicely and 12 hours later it is still there. This has excellent staying power compared to most BPAL that fades quite fast on me. I had people at work coming up to me *all day* going "can I smell you again?" and "I just caught a whiff of you, GOD you smell good!" and "WHAT is that and WHERE can I get it?!" I went home on a motorcycle today thanks to Love Me. gotta get more....

mmmmm glitter... the oil in the imp does indeed have a bubble-gummy aura to it, although its a bit sharper. Once applied, however, it morphs rather quickly from sweet and bubbly to tangy and sharp. I cannot pick out the pear at all. In fact its hard to put my finger on any of the notes! If what I'm smelling is heliotrope, I LOVE heliotrope! I can see how some would say it has a very slight soapy scent, but I find that works well to mellow out the candy-sweetness. when this dries down several hours later, the sweetness is pretty much gone leaving nothing but a clean, warm scent. definete keeper!

I love cherries, and I love licorice... so this was a natural pick for me. Unfortunately it was terrible. In the imp it was very sweet and sticky-cherries, but when I put it on the cherries disappeared immediately and all I got was thick, strong musk. I dont mind musk, but this was really unbearable. I got ONE whiff of licorice all day. the rest was just musk. I even tried to wash it off, with no luck. This has Serious Staying Power.

like the others have said above this is amazingly well blended. I cannot distinguish the individual notes, but together they are incredible. this is the perfect fruit and floral harmony. I cant imagine someone disliking this scent, it draws you in and makes you want to smell it again and again..

I like the wet scent of this, very tangy and crisp, but on my skin it smells like Old Shanghai. just kind of a lemony tea. on the other hand, when this touches my mother it turns into pure orchid blossom - she has over 100, just a little bit obsessed... - and even I recognized the orchid scent on her. needless to say she kept this one!

When I sniffed the imp I was immediately drawn to this because of the fruit - the peach is strong and the pomegranate not far behind. the first 10 minutes of wear are lovely, fruity and just a bit floral. unfortunately when this dries down the rose comes up very strongly, mixed with something I cannot identify, and the fruit all but disappears. it becomes a strong, sharp floral scent on me which I dont like at all. If I keep this scent I will not apply it on my skin, it will be a room scent or locket scent. my skin just doesnt agree with it.

I love this. in the imp it smells very chocolate-appley, but that changes when it hits my skin. the first thing I smell is bark and leaves and wet, very damp-woodsy but then then apple comes out... to put it in a nutshell I smell like an orchard in the rain. delicious.

that is hard to describe, but you did a good job! my family is Hungarian and my mom guesses Szepasszony is pronounced: zhea-pash-ohn with the emphasis on the first syllable. thats not entirely correct but I'll get her to repeat it and edit this later. I'm a bad girl and didnt learn much of my home language.

the Unicorn is incredible, and its scents like these that put me in complete awe of Beth's talent. To me this smells like fairy dust, like the place in the woods that is secluded and secret and magical... It makes me think of little girls who believe in unicorns; it is the essence of innocence. a sniff from the imp is not enough, I have to apply it. it smells sweet and light, and slightly of melons, it is fresh and simply wonderful. dont ask me to identify the notes, I cant. it is just gorgeous. the only downside is that it fades so fast...

OMG JACK. this is GREAT. I love this scent. I knew I would. when I opened the imp for a preliminary sniff I literally moaned out loud. (yeah that was a first!) It was just so perfect, my nose wanted to crawl into the imp and live there. the scent in the imp is sweet, perfect, pumpkin pie. upon application, there is an initial burst of pure pumpkin, which quickly fades. the nutmeg and clove come alive (and I mean ALIVE) as they are very sharp and biting. the remaining scent on my wrist is a glorious spiced pumpkin. not pie though, as I cant find the buttery-ness some others talked about. I couldnt find the peach in this either, but I think it just generally makes the whole oil slightly sweeter. this suits me perfectly. I need more of this. now.

*shakes fist at sky* WHY ME?!?! I was so sure I would utterly love this... the wet oil is certainly tropical and fresh and lovely... but as soon as it hits my skin it smells terribly like Kuang Shi. anyone who read that review knows that Kuang Shi smells like my evil dead grandmother. well, so does Pele. I wanted to love this so much, and I keep sniffing the imp in rapture, but my skin hates this scent. I cant pick out any notes, just warm florals with a slightly powdery tone. I'm really sad I cant wear this scent.

This smells like my dead grandmother. seriously. and not in a good way either. I couldnt pick out a single note - but I recognised the scent *immediatly* and it was both shocking and unpleasant. YES. She was evil, and this scent was her scent. *shivers*

oh, wet this is so beautiful... a light, breezy floral scent... unfortunately when dry, it smells like a public bathroom freshener. Like when you are on a road trip and stop at a random gas station, the bathroom is *almost* clean but to help the illusion they added a scent - this is that scent. I really wanted this to work for me, but I cant feel good wearing something that smells of eau de bathroom. drat!

this was extremely heavy patchouli on me. that is all. no rose, no civet, no poppy. smelling this on myself simply reaffirms how much I dislike patchouli. can I venture and say I hate patchouli. naturally this has excellent lasting power.

LOVE this!! When wet I can smell the *martini* aspect, slightly boozy but I cant pinpoint any particular scent. This smells to me much like oranges or berries - I was thinking Body Shop scents like cranberry or satsuma. yummy!! When dry it gets sweeter and yet bitter at the same time. I'm very glad I have a big bottle, I will be wearing this often.

this did not work for me at all. I LOVE coconut, but BPAL has a limited amount of coconutty scents to choose from... aww. when I put this on I thought: a coconut and a lime are fighting to the death on the back of my hand. they are ruthless in their determination to out-smell each other. this is a chaotic scent. I would call it biting. Doesnt work for me at all, the scents never mellow out or settle down and behave, and its quite disconcerting.

Ah, my rose curse strikes again... This smelled so delicious wet, a truly lovely sweet floral. Alas, not 5 minutes after touching me it turned to stark rose. I couldnt get a feel for the honey, ylang ylang or apple blossom at all. This smelled fabulous on my mom, sweet in the right places but still floral. I wish it worked on me!

I disliked Dana O'Shee. why? I dont really know. in the imp it smelled very much like marzipan. when I applied it, it turned very mellow and sweet and baked goods. but not MY type of baked goods. I couldnt pick out the individual notes, but I didnt really want to either. this scent enveloped me in a cloud of Dana. seemed to last a while, as the ones I dont like usually do.

well I love pomegranate, I want to eat it, smell like it, bathe in it. Unfortunately, as I am slowly learning, anything I put on that contains rose is just ROSE. wet: this was juicy and bold and it bites you in the nose - I have never smelled anything like this and I was very intrigued. on: the pomegranate was bright and sweet for all of 10 minutes, once the oil was dry it was rose perfume. a little bit sweet rose, but not much. After Persephone died down after about 3 hours, I could smell the sweet fruity pomegranage coming back, but it never got strong enough to smell unless I press my nose to it. I really, really like this scent, but it doesnt wear well on me and my family wrinkled their noses as I walked by.

can anyone say, Ritz Crackers?!? There was only *one* way I could get this to smell chocolately on me at all: when sniffing imp, accidentally touch tiny tip of wand to upper lip. sniffed my lip all day. but when I applied it to my arm - crackers. darn it! Im one of those people that WANTS to smell like chocolate all day!
-
oh YES!! this is exquisite!! Immediately after application it is such a bright pear I just want to smell myself to death. I love pear. This is so delicious. After the oil dries the pear fades away fairly fast, and on me a beautiful soft rose scent is left. I also happen to really like rose. Im in heaven. unfortunately, it seems like this will fade fast into a sweet nothingness...

this was really, really strong salt water on me. stranded on a dinghy in the middle of the ocean in the blazing hot sun. I really dislike this, the saltiness is mixing with something (leather??) and its making me quite ill. it seems like it would be an oil with some lasting power, but alas, not on me as I scrubbed it off quite quickly. I dont like my fragrances to make me sick.

Yes, this smells like SEX. no doubt about it. sweet, sticky, sweaty sex. I cant stand it. I washed it off. It was wafting up at my nose for 2 hours, but I've had more than enough O!! Good staying power. swapping this one.

I really, really wanted to smell good in this. Alas, no luck. It is extremely spicy on me, barely any vanilla, and as it dries the vanilla disappears even more. It is a VERY sexy scent, after my first whiff I had the sudden urge to jump somone. Unfortunately I think this is too *grown up* for me, I've never smelled like this before and I dont particularly like it. My friends said "PHEW - you stink of Josee's." (The local exotic goods store. its not true though, josee's smells like patchouli.) As other posters have said, this is a thick oil, almost like syrup, and leaves a yellow stain. Some have said the lasting power is great - I agree it is better than other BPAL oils, but after 6 hours it was completely gone without a trace. drat.

I would describe this as soft, warm, and somewhat elderly. It is a comforting scent. I cannot pick out the individual notes, it is a very harmonious, floral smelling blend. There is no lime in this for me. As it dries it gets sweeter, but after 1.5 hours I can barely smell this anymore! Nice, but not for me.
