    Alice

I wanted to love this, I really did since I'm looking for a work suitable scent that isn't Boo (I work in childcare). And when it was wet, I loved it. Pretty, light and gently floral. A pity that as soon as it dried, it went strongly play-doh like. While that might be suitable for work, I'd rather not smell like I rolled on the activity table. Off to swaps with you, Alice.

    Bard

Oh wow. I get a vaguely fruity wood scent from this and I love it. Recieved this as a Christmas gift and was a bit wary of the intense fruit scent in the bottle, but it softens to a sweet wooden scent very quickly and I was instantly in love.

    Velvet

I expected to hate this. I'm not a fan of myrrh and tend to smell it overwhelmingly in any blend, bringing back uncomfortable childhood memories of being non-catholic in a catholic school. In this however, I get a rich chocolate/wood scent that is warm and comforting and makes me want to experiment with layering it with my beloved Rogue. I used to have a chocolate scented stuffed rabbit that smelt exactly like this, a mix of chocolate and soft, silky toy fur. I'll be buying a bottle of this and the lab has my thanks for the imp.

    Harlot

A pity. I love cinnamon, but I'm not a huge fan of roses. I recieved this imp free from the lab and decided to give it a try because I was so surprisingly thrilled with Whip and hoped the cinnamon note would soften the rose like the leather does in Whip. Sadly, Harlot is all rose, all the time on my skin. Pretty enough, but as a non-rose fan, it's not for me. Nice to try it though.

    Baku

Our Nightmarebane. Named after the Baku, benevolent Japanese spirits that eat nightmares. In Japanese tradition, nightmares are gifts from malevolent spirits; when you wake up from one, you may call, "Baku, please eat my dreams!", and if you are virtuous and merciful in spirit, the Baku will devour the evil, transforming it into a blessing of good fortune. Oh OW. I wish the lab included notes in the description of this. I'm highly allergic to skin contact with both Lavender and Eucalyptus and unfortunately the free lab imp splashed over my fingers when I opened it. Not at all for me, I fear. And sometimes the lab really, really should include notes on what's in a blend. Off to the swap pile for this.

    Jack

Sadly, this isn't for me. It was sweet in the free imp I got from the lab, but as soon as it hit my skin it turned sickly sweet and just kept getting stronger. Within twenty minutes it was making me gag and I had to wash it off. Something to pass onto my sister, I think.

    Who are the authorized resellers?

Just wondering... Does the Think Geek website have permission to be selling the RPG line?

    Rogue

In the bottle: Sharp, a little chemically. Uh-oh, I really, really want to like this as (as my fellow DnD players like to point out) I have a thief/rogue obession. Wet: Ooh! Leather! Lots of sweet, sun-warmed leather. I am taken straight back to the best days of my childhood, spent in saddleries and stables. I'm in love here and the unease of that first smell of the bottle is a forgotten memory. Drydown: The scent fades just a little, or I become acustomed to it, but it makes a reappearence regularly, particularly when I'm warm or a strong gust of wind goes past. I've become addicted to this scent and it's my every day scent now. It doesn't have much of a throw, but it lasts all day and catches me when I least expect it - rather like a Rogue picking my pocket, I guess!

My first review, but let's give this a try. In the vial: Something green and sweet. Trees and a hint of wild flowers maybe? A woods in spring scent. I like it, though it doesn't leap out and grab my heart with love. No leather, which is a pity, since I love the scent of leather. Wet: Still that green, sweet scent, but more powdery. This is actually starting to smell a bit like a soap. Uh-oh. Drydown: Soap, pure soap. And not even nice soap, but a somewhat cheap, unscented soap. My skin chemistry just doesn't like this. I think I'll have to pass it onto a friend to try, since multiple attempts prove it's just not for me.
