The unicorn is light, airy, floral, aquatic... but somehow when it hits my skin, in addition to the light, clean smell, there is a subtle scent of caramel and coffee. spring air & florals, ocean mists, caramel/vanilla and coffee. for reals. my skin must be nutty. love it. most unusual scent ever.

Forces a change of fortune, helps overcome poverty and want, and helps attract prosperity, prestige and earthly bounty. The cherries and almonds fade away on my skin and something sweet, spicy/woody and incensey comes out, with a slight citrus tang. there is a smell mixed in there somwhere that is really famailar. it reminds me of something i would smell in certain old, remote places in the south sometimes when i was a little girl. it makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. i put this on today right before work, and my tips were much higher than usual. my sales totals were a lot higher as well. it smells very yummy, and it works!

I love this blend. Coconut is my favorite smell. Sadly, I dont get any coconut from this, or from black pearl. Instead to me it is more of a sweet nutty vanilla scent, almost a hazelnut scent. It is still so gorgeous and i have not smelled anything else like it. Something [maybe the red musk] has an ever so slightly fruity smell, like jam or wine. it smells red. The musk makes it even more delicious. Something comes through that smells like a light, soft violet... but that must actually be the iris that other reviewers are talking about. The blend in general is very soft and light. Not much throw, not super long lasting... quiet beauty.

Wet on my skin, so much patchouli! also dark, woody wet amber. The musk is very very 'animal' and powerful. It almost smells like a goat. Or yarn. It is really yummy. Very potent. [The kind of bpal that you love, but get afraid will offend other people sitting next to you.] Drydown: everything is softening and blending together. The amber is losing it's woodiness and becoming pleasantly soft and powdery. Patchouli still dominates the blend. The goaty animal scent is still in there when i put my nose right to my wrist. Very powerful.

This one smells totally different than i was expecting. On my skin it is all citrusy. lemon, lime, with a little amber and something woody... but mostly lemon is all i get. I have noticed my skin does this to several blends. Although this is just a hypothesis, i think my skin is very acidic. Notes that are acidic or lemony go nutty on me. I have a feeling that aging this bottle will help, as I just recieved it from the lab today.

very sweet and spicy, and ALMONDY! This blend did weird things on my skin, but it is just freakin gorgeous as a room scent. I'm telling y'all, something magical happens to this one when it hits the heat of the diffuser. Yummy!

I love this one.... good lawd! It's sweet, spicy, complex, and very, very sexy. Mmm, I can smell the sweet red musk, sandalwood and incense. After I had been wearing it for a few hours and it was thoroughly dried down, a friend said it made me smell like an import store. I am pretty sure she meant it as a compliment, though. By that time the scent had turned dry and a little bit powderey. If I sniff right at my wrist, I can smell saffron!

Crap! I want to like civet. I like it in theory... yet I can't get it to work in practice. I tried this one on me and also the boy, with similar results. It starts out with a delicious, spicy smell which almost resembles a masculine snake oil... we start to like it... then just when I least expect it, it turns to poo! and the poo smell is hard to wash off, too. It makes me think of the movie Anchorman, and the perfume that Will Ferrel's character wore in it that made everyone faint... SEX PANTHER!

This blend is gorgeous! It smells just like Hawaii. It reminds me of hanging out under a tree full of those huge, fragrant white flowers that are everywhere there. I never figured out what they were called though. Very rich and lush, sweet, decadent, wet tropical flowers. looooove it!

This is one of those sneaky ones. The description didnt really catch my eye at first, but the imp snuck in with my order... thanks, lab! Anyway, eos blew me away. It's soft and floral but at the same time warm, golden, strong and powerful. It is delicious in the bottle, but when it is applied to my skin it morphs into something so magically good I can't even explain it. It really has a power to it. 5ml is on the way, and i am rationing that dang imp in the meantime.

... This scent reflects the futurism, self-indulgence and excess of the Glitter 70’s: champagne, hyacinth, tuberose, ylang ylang and flashing white musk with jonquil, tobacco flower, white sandalwood and a pale poppy. After I read the description, I had to have this one! In my opinion it really does live up to it. I can really smell the florals, hairspray and musk. It all really works together, though I don't smell the tobacco. The musk note is awesome, and reminds me of older perfumes.... something from the 70's or early 80's. There is a slight opium note I can detect, [that must be the 'pale poppy'] and opium also really reminds me of the early 80's. This blend is strikingly vintage and nostalgic, and very original. I dont think there is anything out there like it... at least in this decade.

A fun fact: My bottle of sugar skull crossed the atlantic no less than three times before it got to me, due to postal issues. in the bottle: Very boozey, spicy and sweet on my skin: First, I smell the spices. Cinnamon, nutmeg, and a hint of clove. It's sweet, but the spices are taking over. This is not a bad thing. On drydown the spices mellow and the blend becomes more sweet and creamy, with a lot of molasses, and a slight 'buttercream frosting' scent underneath. mmmm Like others have said, love this blend, but you have to be in the right mood for it.
