Well firstly, wow. Spent yesterday wishing I had a jasmine scent to wear and wound up browsing the scents with jasmine on the shop only to stumble across Defututa and realise I had an imp at home. So I slathered some on this morning, and I won't lie, I'm pretty blown away. In the imp, it's a pretty subdued floral scent, blended to the extent that I can't pick out any one note, but as soon as I put some on, I got loads of beautiful jasmine and cinnamon, and just a hint of everything else. Jasmine can be overpowering sometimes, but it is just right in this scent. Really loving the sweet smokey tones running through this too. It's really warm, and has kept me so chilled out today at work (always a real plus!). I love this, and think I will need a bottle in my next order. Spending the next few days in the company of my lovely lady, so will see what her opinion is of it as well, because I'm totally in love!

I ordered this imp aaaages back and today is the first time I've gotten around to trying it! It's really sharp and green in the imp, not that keen on it first sniff, but slathered some on anyway, and straight away it turns to rose, horray! Have had some trouble recently with rose turning powdery on me, but this one sits so nicely. The orange blossom and rosemary are hanging out in the background, but this is beautifully blended. There's something almost familiar about this scent, but I can't pick it at the moment. Will use this imp up, without a doubt.

I was lucky enough to score this one as a frimp with a recent order, and tried it for the first time today. Oh my goodness me In the bottle, it smells like that familiar 'man smell' sort of thing, a cologne, and a nice one at that. It reminds me a lot of my dad! I always used to love wearing his cologne, so I slathered this on a bit. It's lovely on. It stays quite masculine, but I don't mind that at all. I think my girly will like it on me! It's got this lovely floral backdrop to it, and is such a nicely blended scent. I'm not really able to pick out any one note in particular. Love it, and am honestly considering a bottle for those days when I want to smell more masculine.

Felt I needed some luck of late, so I ordered an imp of this recently. In the imp: Smells wonderful. There's a sharp citrus note, could be lemon and ginger I think, and there's herbal smells there too. Wet: It smells like window cleaner. It smells exactly like the surface spray I use. Ugh. Drydown: The window cleaner scent fades, and some nice spices start to pop up, but that nasty chemical smell still sits in the background. If I don't smell my wrist, it's actually nice. It wafts mostly spices. Verdict: I will keep and use my imp, cause I need the luck! But no bottle in my future, and the throw is only about 1 and 1/2 hours so it's not anything amazing scent wise. As far as luck, I had a relatively easy going morning at work while wearing this, and when I put on something different in the afternoon, all I had was tricky, grumpy clients! So maybe there's something there

I wanted so badly to like this, I was looking forward to it more than any other sample I ordered, put it on as soon as the box was open, and bleh. It's a gorgeous scent in the imp, floral and green, but very different from my usual rose/jasmine/etc scents, but when I put it on it just started going powdery and actually quite sour. I wound up having to wash it off My colleague told me I smelt like her grandmother. Her dead grandmother. I will keep this imp though, try it again after a while and at different times of the month, and if all else fails, I'll use it as a burning scent. Edit: Positive to this is that my housemate tried it on and it smells awesome on her, so to a better suited person it goes!

Got this one as a frimp with a huge order, and while going through smell all my samples, this stood out so much. It's gorgeous, rich, a strong fruity cocktail. I put some on straight away and YUMM. YUM. So yummy. I felt a bit like I'd been smelling like I'd been drinking a lot, but my colleague at work kept commenting how nice I smelt She is the one that has to deal with my perfume addiction, so I trust her judgement haha It stays pretty true to the imp on me actually, which is a nice change. Love this, want more, will be buying a bottle next order without hesitation.

Origin: A random frimp from a friend Initial thoughts: I smelt it once, thought it tasted too 'medicinal', and put it away again. Out of curiousity, looked up what it was, and once I saw apricot, that was it! Slathered it on haha. In the imp: Boozy apricots indeed, though it's more alchohol than anything else, hence my initial thoughts of it smelling medicinal. Wet: The sweetness of the apricot comes out straight away on my skin, and it is so yummy. Still smells very boozy, but it's a delicious, sweet booze. Drydown: This is just so yum it's nice and musky, cause my skin loves doing that, but the apricot just sticks around. I get a good throw from this one, up to about 6-8 hours! Verdict: I do like this a lot, it's very sweet, and I feel like it might be one of those scents that is a bit much of hot, sticky summer's days, so no bottle of it for me just at the moment. I think the imp will get used up quickly though If fruit and booze scents work on you, go for this one.

Origin: Ordered straight from the lab Initial: I am a huge lover of rose scents, and this one sounded different and quite pretty, and I hadn't tried any scents with lily before this one. In the imp: It's exactly as described, in that the florals are there, but there's this strange, mysterious mist covering them up and keeping them from coming to the fore. The rose is very faint, and I can't really smell it at all, and the scent is a little weird to my nose. Wet: Ick.. I don't love it. There's a weird sort of aquatic note that tends to come out, and the roses are nowhere to be seen. Drydown: It doesn't change too much, and stays really quite creepy as a scent. Verdict: I wore this at work and it really started to creep me out - it's a creepy scent! I was alone in the office and thought I saw something else walking around haha. Overactive imagination. This is the scent that taught me lily of any kind does not like my skin. Gave it to my housemate who loves it. Probably works much better on those who can wear lily!

Origin: Frimp from the lab! In the bottle: I can smell the lavender above everything else, but there's something sweet all tangled up in it too. I think it might be the pear, but this smells amazing. There's a hint of smokiness to it as well. Wet: The lavender is still the most obvious note and I have a feeling it will stay that way, but the sweet pear is still there, and there's a floral note that's coming through too, the gardenia perhaps? This is a gorgeous, luxurious scent. On the drydown: Yummmm. This scent is just opulent, rich, and I love it. It's very different from anything I've ever smelt before, but I just love that sickeningly sweet lavender smell, along with the smokiness that comes through a lot more as it dries down. Verdict: I always sort of forget about this scent, then find it, put it on, and am overwhelmed by how lovely it is. So happy to have gotten it as a frimp, and think I will look at getting a bottle of this soon. It's really lovely.

First review, yay! Okay, down to it.. Origin: Imp ordered from the lab, in one of my first orders. Initial: Ordered along with a lot of the funeral/death inspired scents as I wanted to try so many of them. I was hoping for a nice, gentle floral. In the Imp: Green, like damp grass of a night time, and with a really light green floral scent in there too. Wet: Stays green, it really reminds me of freshly mown grass almost even. The florals fade away a fair bit on my skin, which is weird because my chemistry tends to amp floral notes like nothing else. Drydown: This just stays green, in a really fresh and sweet way, it's something I can see myself wearing in Summer or Spring. My skin has always turned perfumes just a little bit musky, and this one is no different. Verdict: I like this, but not enough to get a bottle, sadly. It's undoubtedly a gorgeous scent, but perhaps on someone whose skin likes green scents a bit more
