I definitely smell cinnamon. There's also some sweetness to Decadence. That part gets sweeter on my skin, and it's not a pleasant sweetness. This has also taken on a play-doh tinge. Overall, Decadence+me = bad. Will swap this one.

In the imp, this is reminiscent of dishwashing liquid. My brother says it smells like lotion. Either way, it doesn't really change on my skin, becoming a bit muskier but retaining the lemony smell. Despite being a really weird scent, Baba Yaga is pleasant. Unfortunately, it doesn't last long on me, so I'll swap it.

Very strong fake strawberries. On me, cotton candy comes through. I can also smell the vanilla note that nauseates me. This is far too sweet.
-
I can really smell the lemon verbena. It overpowers everything else to the point where this might as well be a single note. It fades pretty quickly, allowing a citrusy floral that makes me sneeze to come forth.
-
I think the "skin" note the Lab uses is honey because: A) I smell it in Tiger Lily most "skin" scents and all honey scents fade the second they touch my skin Tiger Lily smells more like lilies on me, but I like Chuparosa and Water of Notre Dame better. It isn't fading as badly as most honey scents, but it has no throw.

This smells like that clean laundry smell so popular for kitchen candles etc. On my skin, it develops a slightly smoky note, like the clothes of a lifelong smoker after going through the wash. This has very little staying power, which, alas, is pretty common with BPAL+me.
-
Gardenia! Unfortunately, it turns to plastic on my skin, just as Gardenia SN did. I had high hopes for this. Looks like I'll have to stick with Zero for my gardenia-esque fix.
-
Although I smell the grasses, I also smell something astringent. I can't smell berries at all! This was really disappointing, but I'm sure there are other scents with berries that I will like.
-
This is really green. I can tell that the rose and peony are there, but it's very hard to pin them down. Black Hellebore takes on a chemical sheen on my skin before fading significantly. It just doesn't like me.

My nose can barely detect Samael, let alone pick out notes. It becomes a little stronger on my skin, but not much. I really don't have the faintest idea what I'm smelling. I don't dislike Samael, but it doesn't do anything for me.

Most BPAL smells like perfume, but Despair smells like essential oils. It's a weird distinction. Despair smells like a mixture of essential oils from Whole Foods. I mostly smell lavender and rosewood, two notes I'm very familiar with on their own. The rose peeks out after a moment. This is really floral and pretty.

This is really pink! The first time I tried it, I applied rather a lot, because my skin usually eats BPAL. But my skin amped every single note in Venus, making it so strong that I got a headache... oops. So now I use it sparingly. It's a great scent, and it does make me feel sexy, so hooray for that.

I think I smell civet, though I'm not really sure. It's a sour-smelling musky scent. I really really dislike Jupiter, so it's destined for my swap pile.
-
I think I smell dragon's blood. Also woods and musks. I had this in my swap pile but decided to review it because I hadn't yet, and now I want to keep it. I may try layering it with Dragon's Blood to see if I can get that to last longer, or with Blood Rose because I'm a girly girl a lot of the time.

This smells musty. Like several other BPAL oils, it conjures up the image of a specific place which smelled musty in this exact way. While it's fascinating to sniff at, this is not a pleasant smell for me.

I smell melon and peach. I don't much like eating either of them, but that's okay. On my skin, the vanilla comes through. It's not the nice vanilla, though. It's the one that makes me nauseated like I've eaten a bowl of frosting. To the swaps!
-
It smells like fruity chocolate! I like mine plain, though. On me, the chocolate smells scorched. This doesn't work on me; too bad, it would have been nice to smell like one of my favourite foods.
-
Mmm, berries! I am thinking cranberries; this smells a bit like my cranberry pills, but much more pleasant. I may try layering this with Talvikuu for the winter.
-
This is kinda sour on me. Maybe it's the civet. In addition to the musks, I smell a rotten orange. Man, this really hates my skin chemistry. Off to the swaps with it.
-
This smells burnt! Not in a pleasant bonfire way, either. It smells like a scorched pastry. Maybe I just don't get it. I didn't grow up with proper autumns, nor have I ever participated in any greater Hallowe'en mayhem than trick-or-treating.

In the imp: I smell wintry trees. On me, wet: It's pretty strong. There's a strange sweetness to the pine, maybe berries. On me, dry: A Christmas tree. The berries are present and discordant. Verdict: I like Talvikuu better for when I want to smell like a Christmas tree.

In the imp: I smell lemon and heliotrope, I think. Also some honey, which is usually the kiss of death. On me, wet: It's faded a bit (dratted honey), but I still smell something bubblegummy. On me, dry: This has a bit of powderiness, and it's not as bad as most honey scents with the whole vanishing act. But it doesn't really do anything for me, either. Verdict: It's not for me.

This smells like peppermint. It's nice but I'm already pretty sure I won't wear it for perfume. The peppermint continues on my skin, although according to my mother it smells like spearmint. As it dries down, I can start to smell both of those mints. My nose feels chilly from where I've pressed it into my arm. I may use up my imp surviving the New Orleans summer.

This smells really clean, with a hint of melon. On me, I have no idea what to call what I'm smelling; it's very clean and a wee bit fruity, though not melon. It gets a bit stronger on my skin, which is unusual for me+BPAL. I'm going to keep my imp. Massively aquatic and citrusy. It smells goood. Like a tangerine. I'm keeping it!

In the imp: Sandalwood, musk, and some florals. On me, wet: The scent vanishes utterly. On me, dry: Still not much smell. Verdict: This doesn't work with my chemistry so I'm swapping it.
