This smells like Plum Street Snowballs. I'm not even kidding. It smells like a snowball stand. The sweetness dies as soon as the oil touches my skin. It's really musky, but not a musk that works with my chemistry. It's very masculine. Decent throw, for me.

There's something really sharp about this. On my skin, I'm smelling cinnamon. I don't know what else might be there because the cinnamon overpowers it. This has very little throw. I can't smell it unless my arm is just a few inches from my nose.

I swear I smell vetiver. This does not bode well. On my skin, Ra becomes murky and heavy, not what I want in a perfume. It's so dark, weird for a solar scent. I suppose it's a good thing I only meant to use it to anoint candles.

Wet, Yemaya smells like artificial watermelon. I don't really like watermelons, but this smell is growing on me. Dry, it turns kind of sour. I had bought this to use on candles and in my oil burner, so I'm not too sad that it doesn't work on my skin.

This is a really fruity scent. Duh. I can't pick out any notes, though; it's a kind of generic girly tropical fruitiness. I like it, but it's fading very quickly, so I don't think I can really wear it. It's also not my style, so I'm not broken-hearted about not being all that fond of it.

In the imp: I smell herbal tea. On me, wet: So crisp! I cannot recognise a single note, though. On me, dry: It smells clean, fresh, and gender neutral. It suits me, I think. Verdict: Totally a keeper.

In the imp: This smells like fruit. Almost like pears, but not quite. On me, wet: Still with the unidentifiable fruit. Now with added booziness! WTF. On me, dry: The booziness has faded. So has most of the scent. Verdict: It doesn't work with my skin chemistry.
-
In the imp: Carnation and a touch of lavender. On me, wet: The carnation has eaten the lavender. It's not my style but I still like it. On me, dry: Something is sweetening the carnation, but I can't identify it. Why do I like this? It makes no sense but I do. Verdict: A keeper.

In the imp: Pine. Thick, resinous pine. On me, wet: Still mostly pine, but it's not too sharp. There's a bit of musk, and a wee smidge of Vicks Vap-o-rub. On me, dry: Mostly mentolated vapors, with a bit of pine. Verdict: I'm keeping it around for when I get congested! I'm not sure I would just wear it, though.

In the imp: Fresh air, with a whiff of acetone. Damn, my nose is weird. On me, wet: Acetone vanishes, whew. It still just smells like fresh air, though. On me, dry: Now it's powdery. And not powdery in a good way, like violets. Powdery in a way that aggravates my allergies. Verdict: Not for me. Off to the swaps.

In the imp: It smells like it's gone off. On me, wet: It still smells odd. Just fainter. On me, dry: Now it's sweeter, but still... off, is really the only word for it. Verdict: Obviously, it's popular. Either I got a bad imp or I am weird.

In the imp: Sour lemon candies. Erk. On me, wet: Super sour lemon candies. Double erk. On me, dry: Something foul has crept in. Ugh. Verdict: Not for me. Off to the swaps.

In the imp: Leather, like a shoe store. I think I like my other leather scents better. On me, wet: Now it smells like a leather coat. Much better. On me, dry: It smells like old leather. Verdict: I do like it, but I wonder how many leather scents I need.
-
In the imp: Woody and herbal. It's kind of sharp. On me, wet: It smells a lot like cedar. On me, dry: The cedar has calmed down, allowing the herbs to come through again. Verdict: A kind of masculine scent, like a light cologne. Me likey. It seems like a good autumn scent.
-
In the imp: Musty violets. On me, wet: Sharp violets. On me, dry: Sweet violets. Verdict: Violets. I love them, so this is a great scent. It's like Numb's darker sister.
-
In the imp: Tea. Not real tea, the fake tea smell you get in certain bath products. It's a weird scent, but I do like it. On me, wet: The fake tea note takes on a chilly, powdery aspect. On me, dry: Like sticking my nose in a jar of green tea bath salts. Very little throw. Verdict: It's nice and pretty, but I doubt I'll ever need more than an imp.

This is so pretty! I couldn't figure it out, so I had my mother sniff it. She said it smells like lilies. This is one of the more innocent floral perfumes I own; most of the florals that like me are sensual-smelling. Chuparosa has a little bit of sharpness to keep the sweetness of the lilies from overpowering you. Unlike most BPAL lilies, Chuparosa doesn't fade almost immediately. It has pretty decent staying power and above-average throw.

In the imp: It smells like something died in here. I'm not optimistic. On me, wet: Hades seems to like my skin chemistry well enough. It's becoming less and less unpleasant. On me, dry: The scent of fallen leaves, slightly damp and just beginning to decay. Verdict: It might be better on someone with different skin chemistry and it would probably make a good autumn scent, but it's not for me.

From start to finish, this is straight-up Dubble Bubble gum like my dad likes. It is a perfect match. I don't get any of the other notes from the imp or at any time while Jailbait is on my skin. I haven't decided whether or not I will keep this one.

This smells very odd. It's a freakishly exact replica of the musty, piney place where I had my music classes in middle schhol: the old chapel, which was situated right on top of the mausoleum at Ursuline Academy. I would never wear this because I don't want to smell musty, but I am awed by how strongly this scent evokes that one place.

In the imp: Citrus! It's a fairly red scent, if that makes any sense. I don't smell the raspberries. On me: The citrus fades right quick, leaving plain old neroli. Really sharp. It does not work with my skin chemistry.
-
In the imp: It smells chilly. I don't know how Beth does it. Oh, and it's a pretty pure violet. This is good. Me likey violet. On me: I am hoarding this for the New Orleans summers. It smells like a frozen candied violet. Verdict: I do not understand why this isn't more popular, but I'm not complaining because that makes it easier to hoard.
-
In the imp: Pure rose. Kind of an English rose, if that makes sense. More powdery and delicate, less wet and sensual (that's Rose Red). On me: A very powdery rose. It's pretty. But it's making me sneeze. Stupid allergies. Verdict: I'd keep it if I wasn't allergic.

In the imp: Very floral. It's slightly soapy even before touching my skin; this does not bode well. On me: Pure soap. It's one of the nicely scented soaps you put in your guest bathroom, but soap nontheless. I was hoping I'd like this because it really sounds like something I would be into. On the other hand, I don't have to hoard it. But as far as silver linings go, that's not a very comforting one.

In the imp: Lavender. And something else, maybe, but I'm not too skilled at picking out notes and the lavender is very strong. On me: A nice simple lavender blend. It's got a fair bit of throw, but it's not drowning me. Verdict: A lovely scent, but not one to hoard because there are so many similar ones.
