I smell a little juniper, maybe. Definitely some wood, and that peculiar musty note that many BPAL oils have. It's not as strong in here as it is in most of the other scents where it appears.
-
Woody. There's a hint of fruit about this, but it's very fleeting. I also get some dirt.

Dark musk and black amber with frankincense, red sandalwood, neroli and bergamot. It's bergamot and sandalwood in the imp. The frankincense comes through on my skin. I can't really smell any neroli, which is good because I usually don't like it. I smell very little musk, either.

The patchouli and vetiver combine to make a very musty and shadowy scent. It's perfectly suited to its name, but it's perfectly dreadful on me. Ack.

This is a very light herbal scent. It's very soft and quite powdery. It actually smells a little bit like baby powder. Totally not what I expected.
-
A light, pretty, soapy floral. I don't smell any melon, which surprises me. The violet is strongest on my skin, though that's not saying much because this has very very little throw. But it's sooo pretty. I'm undecided on whether or not I'll keep my imp.

I don't know what the note is, but this is yet another scent that goes horribly musty. It smells of pine cleaning fluid, cedar chests, and decades of dust and death. I couldn't meditate while wearing this. The scent has too many other connotations.

Mmm, I smell red sandalwood. And incense. Me likey. It's a miracle I can smell anything; usually I can only just smell a scent containing amber or honey in the imp, and it vanishes completely on my skin. Not the Masque, though, and it has both.

CCCXXVII Coconut, oh joy. I hate this note. It's less offensive on my skin than in the imp, but I don't want to smell like suntan lotion. Gah. Last reviewed by gangstaknitta.

I smell sugar. And musk, too, but the sugar kind of assailed my nose first because it was so unexpected. Maybe that's rum minus booze, or something? I also smell grape juice. On my skin, it's 100% musk, though. I'm not really a fan.

I smell herbs and lavender. I really like this, even though lavender scents all pretty much smell the same to me. This lavender is fairly sharp and kind of medicinal.
-
Lemon bowls me over. On my skin, the opium comes through a little, but this still smells mainly like a lemon drop. The coconut is coming through as well, ick. I hate coconut.
-
Erm, vanilla icing over cake? It's very sugary and so forth. Not nearly as awful as most foody scents, but still not good. It's too sweet and smells very fake.
-
The eucalyptus bowls me over. I also smell the aquatic, not as a presence but as a difference in the way the eucalyptus smells. On my skin, the mints come through, but they smell like stale candy. Ultimately, I usually use eucalyptus scents as decongestants, but this is too rare and not effective enough.

Magnolias, jasmine. A very heavy, creamy white floral. The amber isn't doing its usual thing here, which means that the scent doesn't fade immediately. I smell a smidge of something almost incensey that reminds me of Rose Cross (frankincense?). Unfortunately, this is so cloying it tends to give me a headache.
-
The jasmine in this smells like a rather non-flowery essential oil I once had. I definitely recognise it as jasmine, but it's not the kind of jasmine smell I like in my perfume. The rose is present, but not overpowering, and I don't smell any heliotrope at all. It's also kind of musky.

This is spicy. Kind of musty, a wee bit sour. It's rapidly turning into rubber gloves on my skin. There's definitely a whiff of latex about it. But then, my skin chemistry is very weird.
-
I smell cassia. Not really anything but cassia. Really strong cassia. And this kind of stings, so definitely into the swap pile with it.
-
Mmm, plums, mums, and carnation. Very spicy and heavy. Kind of smells like potpourri, but not in a bad way.
-
Mmmm, spicy and sexy! I get just a hint of red musk, and plenty of gingery zing! I don't smell mums very much, but they soften the scent, making it more sensual than it would be otherwise.
-
Mmm, smells like cotton candy! Sinister cotton candy. I don't get any incense or florals, because my skin chemistry is clearly teh weird. This is a keeper.

This smells like steamed broccoli. I wish I was joking. I like lavender, violet, and white musk, and even vetiver in small enough doses. I had hoped to like this. But it smells like steamed broccoli.
-
I smell something vaguely minty in here. I don't get any musk or sandalwood, just citrus (more like lime than orange) and mango.
-
This smells awful on me. Burned almonds. I swear, anything with a food component smells burnt on my skin (sometimes even in the imp). Ew ew ew.
-
I smell like potpourri. The plum and carnation form the basic scent of the potpourri, and the musk gives it the correct texture. This has got to be one of the most instantaneous "this smells like" reactions I've ever had to an oil. I seem to be a bit allergic to it.
