In the bottle you get sugary, sweet goodness.... Strawberry and marshmallow are mainly the two notes I get - but there is a bit of a caramel aspect to it... Wet on the skin... Mmmmm strawberry candies! Oooo I love this!!! Once it dries down, it kinds of smells like a candy apple...but with strawberries...and sugar...and...just delicious! I'm kicking myself now for not ordering more bottles of this one

In the bottle: Honey, apple blossom and caramel jump out...It kind of reminds me of a caramel apple, but...more...incense like. If that makes sense. If you keep smelling this, it's a big creamy incensey caramel apple. Wet on the skin: Very creamy caramel....the warm glow of amber underneath..the apple blossom lingering in the background. This is SO pretty, and different for me..but I like it so far! Dry down: An indescribable mixture of all the notes, and when the teak stars to come out, it makes this sweet scent take a darker turn that's amazingly complex and pretty..and I actually had people commenting that they could smell incense when I walked by them. I didn't know if I would like where this scent was headed, because it IS so different from what I normally wear. But I will admit that I'm a fan, and I will be keeping this bottle.

This was a scent that I got off Ebay. I was torn if I really wanted it or not, but after I read the reviews and the notes a few times..I decided that I was going to give it a shot. In the bottle: STRONG! WOOO! I can put the bottle down on my desk, and the smell still wafts towards me...It smells like a cross between a tropical alcoholic drink and fruit punch....The citrus dominates the black cherry, and I get a subtle hint of almond and mint. On the skin wet: Woah...hello vodka and mint!!! Then..hello black cherry! And...black cherry...No more citrus? No more almond? Oh wait..there's almond. Mmmmmm....I like this, and I'm oddly thankful that the citrus doesn't really make an appearance on me! Dry down: This has turned into a slightly citrus blend...with a lot of almond, a little mint, and a little cherry...I would think that these together would smell like a mess, but it honestly smells like a fabulous summer fruit punch! It's actually kind of...fizzy...smelling..If that makes sense! I don't know if I would want to wear this blend any time OTHER than summer though....it's just THAT tropical. But it is incredibly pretty...although I can't say that this is a favorite for me. A keeper for me, but I don't know for how long.

I purchased this in hopes of finding another signature scent that I'd love as much as I do Devil's Night....Since it seems that the BPal team has stopped producing my beloved with their Halloween series I will admit that I was hesitant to try this because of a few of the notes....BUT I figured what the heck and gave it a go. In the bottle: Dark, heavy with a little bit of spice..for some reason I'm reminded of patchouli or a dark sandalwood? If you smell this long enough it actually will remind you of plants...earth..garden..I can't put my finger on it. Wet on the skin: Wow! Intense! Not sure if I like this..it's VERY heavy and heady, and it almost feels like it's smothering me...I'm hoping for something to happen on dry down that will make me like this more! Dry down: Wow..this is dark and enticing. It's got a very spooky and seductive aura, and I think that it's BEAUTIFUL now....Intoxicating and mysterious almost. It smells woody, with a bit of spice lurking. I'm actually finding that on dry down it has similarities to Devil's Night - but not many... I am enjoying this scent a lot, although I'm finding that it doesn't have a ton of throw, or staying power on me Pretty, not sure if I'd buy another bottle of it though!

In the bottle: Honey and amber...very sweet, for some reason almost floral? Wet on skin: Mostly amber, honey and the musk....wow..this is beautiful so far! It's very...sensual and it makes my head spin a little...I am loving it. Dry down: A sweet, musky amber....It's a very powerful scent, with tons of throw.. I must say that I'm a fan of this and I'm glad I purchased it.

In the imp I get mostly a warm, spicey carnation...with quite a bit of musk... VERY pretty...I like it a lot. On my skin it's a very musky sandalwood..and there's a LITTLE bit of carnation under there, but primarily it's the sandalwood and warm musk... Wet this scent is freaking intoxicating and amazing...I cannot stop smelling myself. Amazingly, the sandalwood doesn't become overpowering in the slighest... It's there, but it doesn't amp up like it usually does on my skin. This is soft, seductive and exotic all at the same time - and it's creamy... This blend is amazing..and I need to have it in a larger bottle!!

A new day.. A new day of reviews and hoping that I have better luck with the imps that I have here. *fingers crossed* So in the imp I get a very sweet smell, with a liiiiiitle bit of spice and that touch of ylang ylang that they mention..it's QUITE pretty and I'm trying not to get high hopes - but I want this to work SO badly on my skin... Mmmmm...on this is honey...and fig..and clove and...oh my.. The ylang ylang is under there just a little making this a tiny bit heady, but it gives it a great depth to make this sexy and bold. As it dries the patchouli comes out a bit more, making it very sensual..and it, at least on my skin makes the ylang ylang and clove amp up a tiny bit more... What an incredible scent....

This is a scent that I got as a frimp from someone who kindly tossed it in for me since they saw it on my wishlist... Now, reading other reviews of it has made me wonder WHY I put this on my wishlist..as I really really dislike rose, but do like lotus in some cases. Oh boy. Are we going to have 4/4 in the reject pile tonight? I don't know if my nose is broken or what tonight..but when I smell this in the imp, I don't get flowers or roses or anything..I get something..weird. Chlorine? Oh my..now I know I'm not feeling right or smelling right... *keeps sniffing* I really don't know what I smell in the imp...so...I shall move on to the skin, and people who are reading this review..please disregard my nose's broken moment. So I slather this on my arm... And I'm not sure what I'm smelling..the tea rose is there a tiny bit, and the lotus is there to make it smell - less rose like...but not enough. As it dries, it sadly still stays pretty rosey, and I cannot get into rose smells..they give me headaches. Swap swap time!

When I sniffed this in the imp I thought I was going to fall over and die. No, I'm not kidding. It appears that all the imps I'm selecting tonight are scary.. Basically this in the imp reminds me of a giant spice cabinet where all the smells are smooshing together and becoming a giant overpowering blend of just...strong smellness. Do I dare put it on? Oh yes self, you dare. Oh gods..no no no no. This is just way too heady, and intense and well...spicey for me. It smells like black pepper and sassafras... I can't even stand smelling it! After about 15 minutes - it turned into a root beer type smell... Yes, just like root beer, I've spilled root beer on myself - and this is what it smelled like. I do not want to smell like root beer.

I don't know if I like what I smell in the vial...I don't really get any of the elements that people are describing..to me it just smells like a baby wipe or something? Well, let's try this on and see what happens! On, I can't even begin to describe what I smell.. Sweet...creamy..powdery...but there's something else that is showing up that's ruining this. Lavender? Maybe the jasmine that other people are describing? It's too bad because before it started to dry down it was actually very very sexy to me, and I was enjoying it. This reacts VERY poorly with my skin, and honestly the smell makes me want to gag, and I can't imagine ANY boy wanting to follow me with this on - not even my husband

My first sniff of this from the imp is...well...grass and tea. It kind of reminds of of a laundry detergent that I buy once in a while. GREAT. That may not bode too well as a perfume smell for myself..as I really don't want to smell like laundry. Wet on the skin this turns into herbal tea with grass. However, this still smells like the laundry detergent that we buy. It tickles my nose and makes me want to sneeze. As it dries, it becomes less tea like and more grass and herb like. Not for me. Not for me at all. *puts it in the swap pile*

This scent and I are not friends. This scent is pure sour apple on my skin, with some spicey elements on it... It kind of reminds me of a more intense Harvest Moon blend AND Poison Apple that was realeased from Bath and Body Works which I liked as a burning oil. But as a perfume oil? No thanks. My skin just seems to LOVE to amp up apple smells, which to me isn't very attractive... *waves good bye to Punkie Night*

When I smell this guy in the vial - it smells just like a caramel apple...a little bit of a boozey carmel apple - but that's mainly what I get... Mmmmmm caramel apple...I never finish those when I get them at the fair and stuff..but I want one now...TOTALLY off topic I know...heh When I put this on myself it mostly smells like an apple. Kind of like what I expected TBS' Golden Apple scent to smell like...but it didn't... It seems that on me this is just...apple...a SMALL bit of caramel is there, but the boozey element and that beautiful blend in the vial is gone. I don't want to smell like a giant apple..so to the sale/swap pile this goes! ETA: After about an hour - the caramel seemed to come out again...but just not enough *sighs* Poor Creepy...I wanted to adore you and love you and covet you... I'm a sad panda

Here is my review for the bottle of Sugar Skull that I got off Ebay not too long ago - not sure if it's 04 or 05 though.... So time to test out the '06 type... This is very very boozey to me...almost like an intense brown sugar in the vial - and that's pretty much all I get, not a lot of fruit - just sweet sweet smells. It's very very strong, but I remember the last one I tried being like that as well. Wet on the skin the fruit is a lot more prominant...but the sugars..oh do they make this smell good...I want to lick myself with it on I actually like this a lot better than the other bottle I got...but they're both good for different reasons. However I would gladly take a bottle of this, and get rid of the older bottle! It just gets better and better as it dries, and it's SO good. Yay Beth! Here's to an instant new favorite!

I have never tried any of the previous Samhain blends so I really don't have much to compare 2006 to... When I first smell this in the vial all I get is a very intense spicey red apple smell with a hint of pumpkin and mullein. Putting it on - it instantly reminds of Golden Apple from TBS - at least to my nose because all I'm getting now is a sweet apple scent....then within about 30 seconds pumpkin again. The spices are there but they aren't really making themselves known.. Even after it dries down I still mainly get apple - maybe a tiny bit of the black patchouli..and a few spices..but this remind me of apple cider for the most part. It's a nice fall scent - but I'm not sure if I would want a bottle of it.
