I scored this off Ebay and was a very happy camper since the blend had caught my attention when I was skimming through reviews... First smell in the bottle...honey, dates..mild florals and a LITTLE bit of sandalwood... When I put this on, it transforms into a vanilla-honey-sandalwood blend. It is VERY woody, but since it's white - it's very mild, which makes me happy because generally I cannot tolerate darker woods. As it dries down the florals come out a bit more - but it's beautiful... It's very complex - and I really really like it. I think I want to look up what tuberose, davana blossom, Damask rose and champaca flowers smell like now. EDIT: After about half an hour - this morphed into the most intense floral blend EVER..and I really can't stand it. It's too perfumey Oh darn. I guess I'll be selling this one.

Someone on the first page described this blend perfectly... It's powdered iced tea mix... Sadly though - this is how it stays on me. It doesn't change to anything except this powdered iced tea mix. Selling it.

Wow this is an amazing floral blend... It does have bite..it does have attitude - this is NOT your grandmother's floral perfume. I seriously am in love with this..and am shocked that I have found another floral blend that I can wear without feeling ill... There appears to be some kind of fruit notes in this... Something very similar to what was in a Chaos Theory II blend that I had tried..that I couldn't put my finger on...I wish I knew what it was...because I like it so much. This is beautiful - I must have it in a 5ml.

This imp should be interesting... I'm really curious about how it's going to go - because some of the notes are amazing to me - others scare me. Upon the first sniff there is that grapefuit..with lavender a bit underneath..with a LITTLE bit of a musky tone to it..Very interesting. On my skin I pretty much only get grapefruit though, and it honestly does smell like I have grapefruit juice on my skin...it's very summery, and fresh and light...but I don't think I would want to smell like a giant grapefruit. As it dries down, it becomes even lighter, and the musk comes out a bit more along with the lavender... It's almost powdery. It's pretty, but I'm not sure I love it. I won't be swapping out the imp, because I don't HATE it - but as of right now - I don't think I want a larger bottle of this...Maybe in future if I keep using the imp - my opinion will change. I just wanted to add - that after about two hours of wearing this...it turned into something amazing... Almost like a citrus candy...I like that Larger bottle please!

Since this imp is for men - I let him have a Bpal experience So, here he is, sharing his thoughts with all of you With the sheer number of scents that pass through this house, it's only right that I get in on the action So without further ado, Villain: In the bottle: I catch mostly the lavender, with a little bite from the lime. Victorian indeed. Not my favourite floral, though. Wet: The lavender disappears almost instantly, while the lilac (a nicer floral scent, IMO) and the lime take over. And while the citrus musk is a bit of a late comer to the show, it's starting to lend a bit of muscle to the scent. Dry Down: The antithesis of the bottle scent. It started with lavender and lime, and finishes up with lilac and citrus musk. It's now a lighter, almost airy scent. Different from most anything I've worn before. Verdict: Inconclusive. Not a bad scent, but I think I'd need to take it for a test drive, so to speak, before figuring out if it's a scent for me. Definitely good enough to give it that chance, though.

I don't even know how to describe this... Other than - I don't think I like it. It smells like..sweet wood on me. I don't enjoy it at all... Probably the shortest review ever... This just isn't me, and I don't like it at all... Bleh. It almost smells like a room deodourizer...or...as someone else said - hairspray. Swap pile for you!

Wow..it's dark...it kinda looks like blood in the vial.. Heh, pretty. Wow..this is intense... I get LOTS of clove on my skin, with the myrrh blending in making it a little richer. I'm not sure what I think about it to be honest..it's almost TOO much... It makes me think of a red hot candy...a cherry one. It seems that everytime I try a blend that has cherry - the cherry amplifies WAY too much. Ugh. I'm sad now I'm sure my sister will love this.

This one I was scared of because it's such a floral scent.. It's light, and it makes me think of a floral field, with sun shining down and a stream trickling near by. It's actually quite pretty. I don't DO florals usually..but there's something about this that makes me really like it. It's feminine, it's lovely, it's light hearted. Wow..a floral blend that I can tolerate - miracles never fail! I do think I'd like this in a larger bottle to wear on days where I want to feel a little more feminine, and pretty... BEAUTIFUL blend Beth - and thank you for proving that I can indeed do florals

If you read what is in White Rabbit - and sniff the imp - all of those notes come bouncing out - one by one. I get spicey milk mostly - but I can get the rest of the notes pretty clearly. I'm curious to see how this goes on my skin. On the skin it's very creamy..milky...but not sour smelling like Milk Moon went on me. As it starts to settle the white pepper and ginger come out a little more.. I don't really get the black tea, honey, vanilla or clean linen though...at least not right now. After time, the black tea starts to make itself known in the background a little..but still no honey or vanilla or clean linen... Either way - I really like this scent. I must have it in a bottle!

There are so many notes in this that automatically sent alarm bells off in my head - but me being the way I am - I had to try it... Initially I don't get any of the notes that usualy send me into migraine land like ylang ylang or frankincense - which can if it's too overpowering... But I do get the rose geranium - a lot...and something else that smells very sweet. This is actually really pretty on, and I'm scared that the dry down is going to ruin it for me. I start to get the ylang ylang, but it's not overly strong...I don't get the scents that normally make me die in this at all...this is staying very pretty and sweet..and it makes me happy. This is just too nice for words I'm pleased that I've found another Salon scent that works for me

This is so beautiful in the imp - I think I read a few people describing it as "juicy" - and I totally agree. There is a very juicy aspect about this scent... On my skin I get the sandalwood almost immediately along with the redwood...that frankincense is there - but not TOO much just yet... I hope it stays away - because usually it doesn't agree with my skin. As it dries down the black pepper really comes out, and I'm not sure what blonde tobacco smells like..so I couldn't tell you if that's what I'm getting out of this. Wow..I think I might have actually found a second Salon scent that works on me!

This is a very very interesting blend. Smelling this on, I get florals dancing around me...the violet drawing me in..the iris taking the foreground and really tickling my nose... But the mandarin is there. The vanilla musk comes forward more and more as it dries down...it's very wierd how this changes as it dries and sits on my skin for a while - it becomes more violet..and that just doesn't work. I don't mind violet in small doses - but if it's predominant like it is on me...no thanks. Another Salon decant to the swap/sell pile.

Another one from SevenSins decant circle. This is by far one of the lightest that I've tried so far in The Salon series..it's a very light floral..and does smell like a garden in the evening..I can picture a really nice mild summer night - outside, with flowers in full bloom surrounding me. Sadly florals and my skin - usually don't go together, and the more this sat on my skin, the more I felt like I had a very strong soap blend happening. It's too bad - because from what I had smelled in the imp, and what I had originally smelled on my skin - I thought I would have loved this. Another Salon impie to send away to a loving home.

Decant from SevenSins. This was a scent that I was curious about..it has somethings in it that I love - others that I loathe, so we'll see how it goes. In the imp: Spicy leather...that black musk rides the spices and the leather..making this a little darker and more intense. Wet on the skin: Um...it smells like the inside of a new car to me...with leather seats..and someone has been smoking in it. I don't know WHY it reminds me of this..but it brought me back to when my dad got a new car..and within minutes that smell was tainted because he started smoking in it. Ew. Dry down: It just smells like leather. Leather, spice, and patchouli. I can't stand this. It's seriously making me sick.

I got this from SevenSins decant circle. In the imp: Green...water...I feel like I'm by a pond. Wet on the skin: Wow..tons of lily and rose jump out...and a TON of aquatic notes...this is like smelling wet flowers. Dry down: All I get when this dries down is the florals and aquatics...the white sandalwood is there a LITTLE bit..to act as a base..and to ground it all..but honestly, I find that this on me is like laundry detergent. Not for me at all.

Decant from SevenSins In the imp: A musky green smell...The musk in this is making this not smell typically floral, herbally...I get a lot of the citrus peel and blue lavender... I don't like lavender Wet on the skin: Mandarin..citrus peel and TONS of greeness. This doesn't smell lovely on me..it smells like room deodorizer! Dry down: The more it dried down..the stronger it got. This has TONS of throw! It's just too bad that this smells awful on me, and gets worse by the minute. So far me and The Salon scents are not agreeing... It's one out of four that have worked so far

Got this from SevenSins' decant circle In the imp: Woah...hello cognac and red wine! I feel like I've stumbled into a bar! Wet on the skin: Very heavy, intoxicating...the booze is there pounding in the front...the lemongrass and cassia are under just a bit...giving this more than just booze...it's rich and heady. Wow...so so complex..I feel a little light headed just breathing it in. Dry down: This is...sweet? But spicey...but..woody? Wierd. This is one of the most complex ones yet! I keep smelling my wrist..I think I might want this in a larger bottle..but we shall see. So far this is my favorite.

Another decant from the fablous SevenSins In the imp: Wow - hello orange blossom and white tea! Vetiver is there as well - and it's making that orange blossom have some kick. Wet on the skin: Pure citrus..I'm only getting the orange blossom and the vetiver. Maybe with a BIT of mahogany underneath it. Dry down: As this dries down - the white tea and mahogany comes out a bit more..but the orange blossom, is really dominating it on my skin. I'm really unsure about this..mainly because citrus like this isn't something that I would want to wear - it reminds of a citronella candle or something. But the white tea DOES tone it down... I think I may have to let someone else have this.

I got this from SeventhSins amazing decant circle In the imp: Very woody - it does remind me of a cologne, or insence or something...it's pretty intense in the vial, and I'll be honest that I'm a little intimidated by it. On the skin: Very musky, very woodsy - this strikes me as a more masculine scent..I don't think it's for me really - I'm not into woodsy types of scents that are this...dark. The honey is underlying and it does tone down that really strong musk... Dry down: The cypress really comes out on me...a lot. As time went by, the myrrh really showed up as well. I've given it to my fiance to try - it may work a lot better on him, and I might like it better on him. As nice as this is - dark, woody scents...just not for me. I can't embrace them.

Frimpy frimpy! I'm a little baffled as to why I put this on my wishlist..I guess because I like iris in the flower? But skimming through other people's reviews..I've confused myself. When I smell this in the imp - I feel like I've been smacked in the face with a bouquet of irises...Great. Spicey iris even. Even better. Berries too. Everything just comes pouring out - and it reminds me of flouride. On, this is so perfumey, and floral...I can't stand it.. I had to go and scrub it off. Definitely not me in the slighest.

So smelling this in the imp I can smell the patchouli, which is a love/hate note for me. I like it with certain blends, and in others - it triggers migraines. This patchouli however is being toned down by what I'm guessing is poppy. While wet on the skin, I can't say that I like where this is headed... To me it smells like too many other commercial perfumes that are out there, and actually reminds me of something that my mom used to wear that I LOATHED... I honestly can't see this being gender neutral, because on me - all that comes out is poppy - which is insanely floral. As it dried down the musks came out a bit more as well as the patchouli a TOUCH..but I still couldn't see my fiance wearing this Not for me.

In the bottle I get that bubble gum lotus smell that I adore and a smidge of green. I'm glad that it's not that in your face pine smell that I HATE... But here's hoping that this goes well on the skin. On my skin the amber and lotus blend beautifully... The amber gives a warm, creamy type of scent to the the lotus, toning down that bubble gum smell that some people hate so much. I only get a LITTLE bit of the pine smell that I fear so much, and it actually adds something really nice to this...a bit of sharpness almost. As this dries I get a more citrusy tone to it than the lotus..and it kind of makes me sad...I liked it a lot better in it's wet stages. I think that this may have to go away Darn.

Another bottle that I got off Ebay and it seems like no one has reviewed it either! So.... Chaos Theory II: CDIV (404) In the bottle this smells like smokey fruit...with a bit of ozone? It's very strange..and I don't think that I like it! It's musty...citrusy...smokey....with water... That's the best way I can describe it. When I put this on my skin, it smells like smoke. Literally. Then as it starts to dry..a wierd citrus type of smell comes out...grapefruit rind? I smell like a smokey grapefruit. Maybe there's ginger in this? There's something vaguely spicey under it... Lotus root too? Bubble gum type dry down. This scent morphs a lot every minute that it dries. Once I got to a totaly dry down I got a very ozone type of citrus. Not sure what I think of it...I don't think I can see myself wearing it often, but if my sister likes it - it's hers. If not - I will see if someone else can appreciate it.

I got this off of Ebay In the bottle it's brown sugar and very boozey... My goodness! When I put this on my skin, it reminded me of the Christmas cake that my mom makes. Or maybe a fruity creme brulee? There's a ton of brown sugar in this...and as it dries fruit comes out more and more.. And it's kind of yummy. The booze that I was getting in the bottle really isn't there anymore - and in a way I'm kind of glad because I wasn't really adoring this in the bottle..and I was scared that this must sought after bottle would be finding it's way back onto Ebay. This is really yummy, and I love how it blends together! I'm glad I went after it

Chaos Theory: CDLXXXII (482) I couldn't find if anyone had reviewed it previously. I got this one off Ebay, and it is SUCH a me scent! It's very pink in the bottle, very sweet, very candylike...It's just a happy, girly, young type of scent. Very similar to Pink Phoenix and Pink Moon. I wish I was better at identifying notes without some kind of guideline. On my skin I get a sugary sweet treat with something that's a very light floral under it? Smells like strawberries, cream, sugar, some kind of sweet blossom and even more sweetness. This is sweeter than both Pink Phoenix and Pink Moon. To me, this is the definition of a pink girly scent - and my gosh do I LOVE it!!! I wish I could get about three more bottles with this exact same scent..it's THAT good!!!
