Mmm, so good! This is another great citrus tea mix. If you like Embalming Fluid, Shanghai, or Aizen-Myoo (like I do), you will love this!
-
Sweet, yummy, tangy, orangey goodness! Loving it! It didn't last that long though.
-
Love at first sniff! It's similar to Shanghai, but I think with more tea. Great summer scent!
-
Like the Cheshire Cat, it's hard to describe and it disappears! It smells very nice, less grapefruity than I was expecting, but it just went away so quickly on me. I think I'll be swapping it.
-
First I was hit full force by a buttery cake smell that felt a bit overwhelming. Then it sank back and was overtaken by currants! It's like a rich cake dripping with jelly. Still deciding on if I'd wear it or not. I like it, but I'm finding the baked foodie smells are fun, but I like something fresher for regular wear.

Whoah Nellie! Realllly sweet! I think the floral was too much for me and completely knocked out the pear sadly. It smells like really heavy lilacs and baby powder on me. Oh, well.
-
Ridiculous! Kumquat, white pepper, white tea and orange blossom. Delicous smelling! It reminds me of orange lifesavers, it makes my mouth water. I think I'm in love. Now I have to try Tweedledum!

The first (and only so far) BPAL my bf likes is Aizen-Myoo, all else he declared as smelling like an "old lady. Luckily Aizen-Myoo is a fave for me too! -
I got this as a frimp in a swap. The description doesn't seem like my style, but I'm liking Kali better than I thought I would. It smells sophisticated to me, and the strongest note on me has got to be the honey. That's the most recognizable, almost like honeysuckle. This is my first honey BPAL. It smells heavy, sweet, and bit floral but dark and mature. I think I can get whiffs of chocolate and sweet tobacco every once in a while too.

Smelled strongly like maraschino cherries in the bottle. Once I put it on it faded very quickly. I think I'll have to try this one again because it didn't stick around long enough to really review it!

Got this as a frimp from madelf, bless her heart! Initially it has a very strong melon scent, but it does quickly mellow out and take a back seat to the vanilla. Since I really like fruit that's a small shame, but I'll be keeping it around. A nice and mellow kind of sweet.

Mmm, tarty but sweet berry goodness! This worked much better on me than Jester, which was just way too strong of a tart berry. Lady Macbeth calms down into a sweet red berry wine. Very nice! It's fruity and sweet but sophisticated. Thanks to madelf for this frimp!

Yes! I've been pining after this scent for a while and it really lived up to my expectations! Every ingredient is one I love and it smells so good, fresh, and fruity. Two of my fave notes are tea and fruit and this one really knocks it out of the park! This takes me back to visiting Tokyo in December, crows were hanging around on all the persimmon trees. Also, my hostess put a Yuzu fruit in the bath which she said was traditional to do around New Year. This brings back those great memories. The persimmon is sweet, but mellow after the initial citrus kick. Later: it dried down to more of a persimmon/cherry blossom combo that's more subtle but still nice. Sooo good. Thanks to madelf for this frimp! Update: This is the first BPAL my bf actually likes! All the other ones he said smelled "like an old lady". I think florals tend to evoke that response more. Anyway, I'm happy he likes this one as much as I do! (I've been wearing it almost daily)

Ooooh, bubbles! It's magic! I love Swank and I'm loving Twenty-One. Funny since I don't actually like to drink martinis. I associate this fizzy bubble smell with champagne and it works better on me than the actual BPAL champagne notes. It's like Swank but not as fruity-tart. I've walked by Twenty-One in NYC, now maybe I'll wear it and actually go inside! Much thanks to madelf for including this in the boatload of frimps she so kindly sent!

The Hamptons has that bubbly smell I love in Swank, but is a bit sweeter and "younger" smelling. It also sometimes reminds me of ginger ale. Like it, but not as much as Swank. I will finish the imp.

Definitely the most chocolatey of the chocolate scents I've tried (Vice and Gluttony being the others). Pretty realistic. Yummy!

Got this as a frimp in a swap. Would never have picked it because I don't like licorice and anise. It was better than I would have guessed but still didn't totally work out. Sweet and pretty though just not me.

D'oh! Jasmine. We meet again. Unfortunately it just never works for me. Ah, well...
-
Delicious! This actually makes my mouth water when I smell it. Like a juicy apricot spiked with cloves. It also is slightly reminiscent of a scented candle. A very good one!
-
I like wearing Swank to shows. Also, I like the idea of Stardust or Kali at a rock show.
-
In the bottle and wet I love the mix of fruity and floral. Very well blended, so it's difficult to pick out the different notes, but just plain yummy! Unfortunately on my skin the fruits went away and it turned to a soft floral that wasn't really my cup of tea. I think I'll keep the imp to use on my clothes and try it out in a scent locket too.

My good friend gave me hers after I tried it on and coudn't stop raving about it. Yay! This is the first BPAL dirt note I've ever smelled and whoah! It really is just like dirt at first. Magic! But soon the dirt faded into a very nice rose. I tend to prefer fruit over florals, but this is a standout rose for me! Also, love the name...
-
Very delicate and pretty. The magnolia really stood out from the other scents on me, and I like it. I tend to like fruity more than floral and the fruit keeps this from being too flowery. It faded pretty fast, but I only put a tiny bit on. Nice, not sure if it's "me" yet though. I'll keep it around a while.

Love the name, and I like apricots so I knew I couldn't miss with this one! I didn't detect any booze scents, but so far none of BPAL's booze notes have shown up on me yet. This smells a lot liks the apricot body lotion I use daily. It's more of a creamy, gentle apricot. I like it, but I guess I was expecting something a little tangier or stronger. I'll keep it and it's good, but it didn't exactly wow me. Maybe March Hare will do better for me.

Shanghai is sooo good! I love how it smells in the bottle, wet, and dry. The green tea and lemon is what I was hoping for in Phantasm, but not overwhelmed by jasmine. Soooo good. Fresh, yummy, gorgeous. Love it. Would be especially great for Spring, Summer, or anytime you need a bright pick-me-up.
