When I put this on, the amber was the only thing I could notice (which is fine, 'cos I like amber). I've had it on for about two hours now, and it's settled to a lovely warm, deep scent. In fact, it reminds me of a store I've dreamed about off-and-on for years; a tiny little curiosity shop filled to bursting with antique velvet & lace clothes, old obscure books, and odd little knick-knacks. Which means, of course, that Haunted is probably going to become one of my favorites. -Jilli

This started out very floral on me, with just a hint of some more bitter green note (my immediate thought was jasmine mixed with wormwood, but I'm probably waaaay off base). Over the course of the day, the extremely strong florals settled down to being a mild(er) floral note on top of something that was simultaneously very sweet and woody. Don't ask me why, but I expected Unseelie to have a bit more ... bitter, deep green scent to it. To me, it seemed to evoke late-afternoon-just-before-twilight sense, and I was expecting much more of a twilight mood. However, that doesn't mean I don't like it. I think it's lovely. I'll need to wear it a couple more times to see how it reacts with my body chemistry when I'm *not* completely crashing from lack of food, because I couldn't tell if my headache yesterday was from low blood sugar, or some part of the scent. -Jilli

The nella@blackphoenixalchemylab.com address. My order # is 72-2529, and while my order was placed with my DressCode (at) gothicmissmanners (dot) com address, my plaintative questioning email would have come from the Jilli (at) gothicmissmanners addy. -Jilli

Hmmmm. Now I'm starting to get a little worried. I placed my order on 4/15, and have read in various threads that people who placed orders around that time have started getting happy packages in the mail. The main reason I'm worried is that the email I sent to the customer service addy at BPAL hasn't gotten a response, and I'm starting to think the Dread Email Gods have taken my mail as a sacrifice. This is me, being patient. Patient, patient, pati -oooh! A shiny thing! -ent. -Jilli

I think I'm going to treat myself to getting a custom scent for my birthday. Since that's in November, I *should* be able to save up for it (as long as I stop buying pointy-toe shoes, that is! ) -Jilli

I ordered on April 15th, and the CCNow link says things shipped on the 29th. I'll just keep stalking the mailperson until my box shows up. -Jilli
