In the imp: Bitter coconut. Wet: Fig does not work on me. Ever. The fig takes over and gets heavy and cloying. It's so strong I can almost taste it.

In the imp: Juniper, with a bit of cypress and rose. Wet: I wasn't expecting to like this, but I do. The rose is soft and fresh, and the cypress mellows it and makes it just a tad woodsy. Dry: Everything is blended together seemlessly. I can still pick out the rose, but just barely. This is gorgeous. I love this blend. It's soft and low key and very classy.

In the imp: Sweet and bitter. Mostly, I smell the rose (which I like) and violet (which I don't) Wet: The violet takes over. Ick, I hate violet! There's a bit of leather, but the violet is beating it into submission. Dry: Still violet. Did I mention the bit about hating violet? I'm glad I tried this in a circular swap. I can ship it off ASAP.

In the imp: Mint! Wet: Mint candy. It smells like a hard candy my grandparents used to keep around. Unfortunately I really don't like the smell of mint.

In the imp: Fresh and salty. There's definitely sea water in here. Wet: Soap. Guh. Dry: Still soapy, with a hint of bay rum. Rum soap?

In the imp: Lemon and something herbal. I like this a whole lot, but my boyfriend practically recoiled from the imp. Wet: Green and herbal. A bit of floral, too. I still like this a lot, but my boyfriend won't come near me. I ended up washing this off before it dried down. My boyfriend wouldn't come within 5 feet of me, and I only put on a dab. I liked it a lot, but not enough to make the raction from my boyfriend worth it.

In the imp: I can't pick out any notes. It's weird and sharp. Wet: Strong amber and green plants. Dry: Amber and musk. It's heavy and strange.

In the imp: Rum and fruit. Berries, maybe? Wet: Oddly clean and boozy at the same time. It's very strong and heavy. Dry: A sharp note comes to the forefront. I'm not sure what it is. Overall, I'm not really thrilled with this one. I like the rum note, but there's something else that I just don't like.

In the imp: Sour, bitter fruit. Wet: A bit sweeter, but still sour and bitter. Dry: It smells like oranges with something strange and bitter underneath.

In the imp: Sweet- possibly the cherry- with something minty and astringent. Wet: Mint and metal, with a bit of fruit in the background. Dry: Still mint and fruit. Am I the only one getting mint from this?

In the imp: A tangy citrus. Wet: Strong, fresh citrus, with a bit of floral. Dry: It smells very sharp and acidic. Baobhan Sith fades very quickly on my skin. It was gone completely in about an hour.

In the imp: Light and floral, with a touch of ozone. Wet: Kind of a salty ozone scent. There's a bit of floral, way in the background. Dry: More of the same. It's nice, but not outstanding.

Yummy. This smells just like the description says- cheesecake and cupcakes. It's very sweet and I can almost taste it. I like it a lot, but it's making me crave cheesecake.

In the imp: Leather and booze. Wet: Just leather. It's similar to the leather note in Dead Man's Hand, but darker. Dry: The other notes come out a bit as it dries, but it's still mostly leather. Overall, I really don't like this. I can't really figure out what I dislike about it, but every time I smelled it I had to convince myself to let it dry instead of washing it off.

In the imp: Deep, complex, and fruity. Wet: A sweet, girly fruit. Dry: Sweet, fake fruit. Fruit always does this on me. An hour later: The sweetness has died down a bit, and now it's very nice. Fruity, earthy, and sexy.

In the imp: Spicy and sweet. Amber, tobacco, and some sort of wood note. Wet: Wood and tobacco. I can smell the leather a bit also. Very earthy. This would be dead sexy on a man. Dry: Earthy. With a touch of mint.

In the imp: Honey and plum. Wet: The plum takes over. Very fruity, and a little spicy. Dry: Kind of candy like. Overly sweet fruit.

In the Imp: Sweet, soft roses with a bit of spiciness. Wet: Rose and something else. Grass, maybe? I'm not sure where that's coming from. Dry: Soft, spicy rose. Overall: Very pretty, but not me.

Imp: Caramel and cake. And a bit of booze. Wet: Dry cake- like cake that's been sitting out a day or two. My boyfriend smells peanuts, but I think he's crazy. Dry: It's back to caramel and cake. Very tasty. My skin usually eats fragrances up, but this lasts forever. I put it on in the afternoon, and it was still there (and fairly stron) when I went to take a shower the next morning. The next day it was all frosting and caramel. If I didn't have to go to work, I wouldn't have showered, so I could see how long it lasts. I don't like wearing this, but I might try it in my burner.

In the imp: Plastic-like. My boyfriend says it smells like a department store, and I agree. Wet: Leather! It's softer than DeSade- more like suede. This is oddly sexy. Dry: Leather with an odd aquatic undertone. I jumped the gun and bought an imp while it was still in the wet stage, and I don't really like it now that my skin chemistry has had it's way with it. Bad skin!

In the bottle: Spicy- like the spice rack in my grandmother's kitchen. On my skin: It smells nice and spicy, but it burns. I had to wash this off before I even had time to write down notes. It burns a whole lot, and turns my skin red and bumpy.

I bought this to try on my boyfriend. Just a sniff told me it was way to masculine for me to wear. In the imp: Sweet and heady. I'm can't pick out any notes. Wet: Sweet and spicy. Smells a bit like licorice. Not what I'd call sexy... Dry: It seems to get stronger as it dries. The sweetness dies down a bit, so it's mostly a spicy licorice smell. Overall, it's not terrible, but I like a lot of other things better, so this is going in the swap pile.

In the imp: A salty aquatic with a touch of floral. Wet: Clean and soapy. It's still a bit aquatic and a bit floral. It reminds me of something in the general catalog that I can't place. Dry: Still a bit soapy, but nice otherwise.

In the imp: Oh my god, what is that stink! My boyfriend says it smells ok, so I'm not sure what I'm reacting to, but I really hate this. Wet: Smells like something herbal and burnt plastic. Dry: Better. Herbal and a bit sharp. I still don't like it, but I don't hate it either.

I love the coconut in Perversion, and everyone has been raving about Obatala, so I decided to give it a try. In the imp: Sweet coconut milk. Wet: This immediately morphs on my skin, and not to something good. I couldn't place what it smelled like, so I hate my boyfriend smell it. He wrinkled his nose- "ferrets!" It smells just like the ferret room at my parents house. I don't know how that's possible- there isn't even musk in this. Dry: Still ferrets. Ick! I had to wash it off after about an hour. Am I the only one Obatala doesn't work on?
