In the bottle: spicy and very citrusy, with a hint of.. honeycomb, I think On skin, wet: citrus. and something I don't care much for, not sure what it is, but that same spicy note that's in the bottle. I don't like this very much, it's just TOO citrusy On skin, dry: OMG, where did the citrus GO? This is pure vanilla musk and honeycomb, and it's lovely. But alas, it fades so quickly, and I'm not sure the wet scent is worth putting up with to get to the drydown, for me. Further testing is required.

My bottle: CCLXXXVIII In bottle: spicy, sharp.. slightly unpleasant, I wasn't sure this was going to go over well... On skin, wet - almost exactly like Black Lotus. I can still smell that sharp note - pungent, green, SOMETHING.. but it's MUCH less now, and bearable. As it dries, the lotus comes out more and more. Considering Black Lotus is one of my favorite GC scents, I'm falling more and more in love here.. On skin, dry - the lotus is still there, but it's fading into a darker, incense-y scent. *drool* I wish I could get another bottle of this particular blend.. Makes me want more CT, on the chance that I get something as completely awesome as this bottle.

In bottle: Yum.. Floral, but dark and sexy Wet, on skin: ... I smell licorice. Actually, I smell black jelly beans, which I LOVE. Florals are very softly evident in the background, but this is overall a spicy, sexy, WICKED scent on me. I'm in love. Dry, on skin: This fades so quickly But as it dries, the spices tone down some and the florals become more evident. Absolutely gorgeous, and I can still smell the licorice, but I think I liked the dark, spicy, unapologetically wicked scent from when it was wet a little better.. Still, very much a keeper.

At first sniff, there was love. Thick, dark, chocolate pumpkin cheesecake in a bottle, can I just eat it??? On skin, the pumpkin faded to near-nothingness at first, the cocoa and hazelnut completely took over - this is not a bad thing, but I kinda miss the pumpkin.. Later, after drydown - bliss. Pumpkin is back, the cocoa softened down to just a whisper, and we're back to the cheesecake again. YUM.

I couldn't agree more... In the bottle, my first impression was, oh, this isn't going to work at all. When I first put it on, the thought that kept going through my head was 'smoked death'. As it dries, it becomes more floral, but there's still that whisper of rot that's making me wince.. Also, something sharp, that might be the citrus. Unfortunately, this is definitely not a keeper.

In the bottle, this is one of the loveliest scents I've sniffed yet - I get a slight orange vibe off of it, overall it strikes me as something a beautiful ghost in a gothic graveyard should wear. Wet, on skin: Hello, the rosemary! Where did that come from, as it certainly wasn't anywhere in the bottle when I sniffed.. My sinuses have been cleared, for sure. Dry, on skin: Sharp and pungent, with a bit of something darker in the background - maybe the musk? The rosemary calms down, and the florals come out to play. Overall, I think I liked this scent better in the bottle than anywhere else. On my skin, it's... nice, but nothing spectacular. On to the trade pile, my lovely. Oddly enough, after a re-sniff of my wrists, this is starting to smell more and more like vanilla. I think it's a combination of lily and musk? Whatever it may be, it makes me like this a bit more than previously stated.

In the bottle: Yup, I got that soap vibe too. Beautiful scent, it's a little thicker smelling than I expected. A slight hint of something woody, maybe.. Wet, on skin: Basically, the same as in the bottle for me. It warmed up a bit on my skin, but still a beautiful, floral scent that had that unexpected hint of.. sandalwood? possibly even a smidge of pumpkin.. Dry, on skin: I didn't have very long to figure this part out, as this faded within twenty minutes of putting it on. I caught a faint hint of something unpleasant, but couldn't put a finger on what it was. Overall, this smelled much the same on my skin as it did in the bottle. I was disappointed at how short a time it lasts. But hey, my boyfriend tried to eat me up while I was wearing it, so that makes it a keeper.
