ahh.. I will rechristen Khrysee "Snake Oil Light" I adore this scent .. I just feel like its a version of Snake Oil thats not as rich and long lasting.

Membership indeed has is benefits.. Agape is beautiful.. starts out kinda sparkling , fruity, and fizzy like an apple soda or martini the quickly morphs into a bowl of just picked fruits drenched in sweet cream.. This is decadent .. a perfect feel good scent ...

This is my first Black Phoenix scrubber.. I had hopes that this would play nice .. In the bottle it was resiny and lovely but as soon as it hit my skin it went all wonky ..like plastic, powdery disposable baby diaper .. Im not sure which note caused the rebellion .. but surely Id like to put it over my knee and give it a good wack.. --- goes to sulk now---

Finally ! A rose scent that doesent make me smell like my Grandmother! This is the smell of a fresh cut dewy rose. In the bottle I get whiffs of the greeny leaves and stalk .. but once appllied sweet rose .. not at all dry or cloying. An the staying power is phenom .. almost a full 8 hours and Rose Red was still lingering so sweetly.

A chilly, bright perfume: flurries of virgin snow, crisp winter wind and the faintest breath of night-blooming flowers. Snow White 08 What a beauty this is .. it may just rank among my all time faves. I get warm vanilla goodness but not in a foody way .. the florals come out to play ever so softly in the background. No one note is overbearing .. beautifully blended. Womanly yet innocent .. this is just divine .. Im off to stock up!

Ethereal fruity goodness.. very light and airy candied fruits .. I never got the green grass note . This one was not much of a "morpher " on me but lovely all the same. Short wear length .. was pretty much gone in 30 mins . Very very faint throw. Im going to let it sit for a bit and see if it strengthens with a bit of age.

I love Tokyo Stomp even if it is very very similar to the Lick it and Lick it again that I have. The best discription I can come up with is .. take a mouth full of butter mints ..ad some peppermint patty and a dash of vanilla .. voila Tokyo Stomp! I have noticed that the men folk like this one alot .. Ive gotten many a compliment!

Hot buttered rum .. butterscotch lifesavers .. needless to say the Bf looooves this scent . I dont find it as wearable as I'd hoped . But in an oil burner its divine.

This has become my favorite every day scent to go to .. I get tons of compliments on it!! In the bottle : I get all juicy plum .. On the skin : The plum softens and mixes with the boozy warmth of the amaretto. Dry Down : The ameretto and plum blend together for a soft hazy fruit scent .. the wine comes into play for that ever so gentle whiff of tartness. Throw is excellent Ive had people approach me from across a room and ask what that wonderful smell was. It has an average wear/length .. I find it lasts a wee longer in a scent locket.

I was'nt quite sure what to expect upon opening my bottle . I ordered this strictly on reviews and the "idea" of wanting to smell like French Aristrocracy in a time of excess and debauchery. In the bottle .. a bit like lemon furniture polish On the skin.. the lemon is still there but in a fading powdery way .. someting slightly creamy emerges and lemon had all but morphed into a sweet orange blossom scent. The dry down is simply beautiful .. I still get brief whifs of orange blossom but something definatly "red" is in the forefront and I cant quite put my finger on what it is. Definatly a winner in my book . Throw is moderate and scent length is average . I did try this in my scent locket and In my oppinion this is more beautiful worn on the skin.

I actually ordered 2 bottles of 13 .. one for myself and one for my son ..whos birthday is April 13 and is obsessed with BPAL's chocholate blends .. he has been through 3 (5ml) bottles of Bliss.. Thirteen has a beautiful dark coco top note .. and then blends into a choco/minty herbal .. divine !! People have been talking about their bottles separating .. I had one bottle arrive in a dark almost black bottle .. it was thick and partially seperated ... the second bottle was amber completely blended ..no separation at all .. boths scents smell identical .. so I was wondering if the mail transit may have upset the separated bottle???

Seraphim... absolutly lovely in the imp .. I get the white flower .. very girly and sweet . On my skin it all goes horriably wrong and soapy.. Im guessing the its the wisteria? That the only note that was unfamillar to me .. I so wanted to like this one too!

Darkness .. I was very skeptical about trying this one .. in the imp it looked so dark and forboading .. and finally I decided to put it to the test and wow !! Its is a very dark sultry scent .. the opium playing out first and the morphing into the myrrh and drying down to the sweet narcissus .. this is melancholy in a bottle ! i Darkness !! on a side note I tried layering this with a touch of "O" .. yummy !

Warm Dragons Blood Resin and Honeyed Vanilla .. this is a very luxe and decadent scent . Ive always found Dragons Blood to be very masculine and unwearable.. for me anyway .. this combo though softens the smoky harshness of Dragons Blood. The vanilla gives it a much more feminine twist and yet leaves it an empowering scent .. Big Bottle most defiantly!

Vixen what an exotic bad girl scent .. Boozy burbon notes over patchouli with a hint of orange and a splash of bittersweet chocolate...dry down softens the patchouli and the rest of the scents blend into a dreamy haze almost undistinguishable from one another ... very decadent indeed.. sweet yet naughty

Undertow in the bottle is a herbal mint .. on the skin a jolt of juniper .. crisp and wet .. this is a very comforting scent . Very green and aquatic. Yet sharp , I find this scent very calming .. this is my under the weather scent when Im ill this is the first scent i go for ...

Black Phoenix was very very sweet in the bottle.. and dried to a soured almond scent on my skin .. off to swaps this just wasnt me .. Im happy to have tried BPAL's name sake ..and Im still considering for a room scent .. but this is the first scent Ive HAD to wash off my skin.

The Scales of Deprivation...I got this as an imp from the lab. From the description on the lab site I would not have tried this on my own. In the vial I get lavender mixed with a sweet incense .. the dry down is what hooked me ..i get a tangy honey almond scent that is just delicious .. I subjected the boy to testing this out for me as a masculine scent .. and wow .. phenom .. big bottle definatly !!

Voodoo .. smells like cherry cola in the bottle. Ive worn this a few times before writing a review .. and each time has been a different experience. The clove and lime really jump out on me .. and blend well for the most part .. but as the scent wears on I get a salty cloying note that is somewhat unpleasant .. on me I think voodoo is a no go .. but as a room scent it is quite nice ... I was really hoping my wacky body chemisty wouldnt ruin voodoo but alas ...it strikes again

Seamus(214/300) arrived today ! I finally could justify my purchace with some Christmas money I had left over... so after lusting after Seamus for so long I now have him in my grubby little mitts! Hellion in the bottle was a bit to spicy in the bottle for me ..and the Patchouli was very very strong.. things were not looking good.. On my wrist, the first few sniffs we all patchouli ..then about 10 mins into wear the plum really amped up and sweetened the patchouli .. nag champa ..smoky incense resin .. then poof all gone !! Im going to try again in a few days .. if Hellion and i need to part so be it .. Ill still have Seamus and all his cuteness!

Beltane 06' and Dragon Moon smell exactly the same on me .. from the bottle all the way through dry down ..

I made this purchace based on name alone .. my married name (before the well needed divorce) was Oppel which is pronounced opal .. I was'nt sure what black fire would smell like ... but as Ive said there was some "black humor" in the name for me .. as when we divorced i was "Black Listed " from his very affluent family! Hence I became the Black Oppel ... I was pleasantly surprised when my wee cobalt bottle showed up .. I actually crinkled my nose andticipating something sharp and bitter almost hoping for it to add to the satire.. only to be greeted by a soft vanilla scent .. not foody .. but soft .. its very hard for me to describe the notes in this .. I get more vanilla than any thing .. but it turned out to be a very comforting scent .. like a fuzzy blanket .. it smells somehow familliar and yet foreign .. simply beautiful..

Dragon's blood in all its splendor .. I was skeptical at first as when i sniffed the vial it was all cough medicine cherry .. yuk! The dry down on this is unique on me beacuse my skin usually amps up dragons blood resin .. i was totally expecting it to subue the other notes ... 'twas not to be .. the cherry morphed into a smoky clove.. the cherry note still lingered below the surface .. a very soft and smooth scent .. it wasnt until about 30 mins into wear that the dragon's blood made its presence known .. and yet i was still able to get wifs of the clove now and again .. i really enjoy this and it smells great on the b/f as well ..long lasting and moderate throw .. definatly going to need a bottle of this!

After being on a diet for 2 weeks.. I opened this bottle and about had an orgasm.. All hail Beth !! Midway is incredible! In the bottle funnel cake oozing with butter dusted with sugar .. I could kick myself for not stocking up on these babies .. but I really didnt think the sweetness would work on me! On my skin .. the first few momments were all carmel apple rolled insalted peanuts.. divine .. my B/f actually wanted to lick me he said I smelled so delicious.. but the true pleasure of this sent came into play about an hour and a half into wear .. pure cotton candy .. **swoon** I was actually surprised at the staying power of Midway it hung on for a good 6 hours .. This has been the first BPAL scent the old man has requested I wear .. and I oblige .. Midway is just yummy!

This is the first bottle opened and tried out of the Carnival Noir Collection.. the name alone made it a fave .. In the bottle Fruity Chocolate.. kind of like a berry parfait dusted with cocoa. I didnt get the honey or the vanilla notes which disapointed me because my skin amps up honey so nicely. On my skin for the first hour the cocoa note is really dominate .. not cloying just very dominate. The dry down on this is beautiful .. almost like strawberry insense .. smokey yet clean and creamy .. truly a complex scent that did'nt dissapoint!
