Pumpkin Five In the bottle: buttery pumpkin with citrus (lemon, orange or both). Very nice. On my skin: pumpkin with lemon. I really like it. I had heard it was similar to Pumpkin Queen and this not false, but with a citrus note that wasn't in PQ. After a while: pumpkin, vanilla and lemon. I really enjoy this one a lot. I just wish the throw would be a bit stronger. Verdict: I cannot decide whether I prefer this one or Pumpkin One. Decisions, decisions…

Pumpkin Four In the bottle: a bit different from all the other Pumpkins, it's less buttery and greener. Nearly floral, even… that might be because of cactus blossom, I wouldn't know as I'm not familiar with this note. On my skin: it's weird. Green, quite sharp, it makes me think of Spring rather than Autumn. I don't dislike it, it's actually pretty refreshing but that's not what I was expecting from a Halloween perfume. After a while: mostly grassy. If I didn't know there was pumpkin in it, I might even miss it. It's very different from the other 4. Verdict: interesting but I'll pass for now.

I'm not one for big hits, or so it seems: yesterday, I hated Storyville and today, I'm all 'yuk' about Voodoo Queen. Far too spicy for me... Too strong and too "sexy".

In the decant: woody pine... mmm, me likes it!!! On my skin: loads of pine, with some sharp wood and... yeah, I know it's weird, but it smells like wet stones too. The pine is not killing everything else, like it often does, and it doesn't remind me any kind of WC cleaner either... Lord, I really like this one, so far. After a while: it doesn't morph so much anymore. I'd call it an aquatic pine. It's very pretty. Verdict: my fave C13 blend!

Like ALL the other Bpal foody scents, it smells like burnt plastic on me... it was quite nice (not overly sweet like many foodies) in the decant, though.

I'll make it short because I really didn't like it... it's musky, foody (somehow), very strong, and somehow a little incensey... I honestly find it quite sickening and wonder why it is SO chased for (probably because it's rare). This being said, I'm happy I finally got to try it (thank you Ahania ) and well, it's better not to fall in love with this one, isn't it?

What a lovely dark red colour!! In the bottle: OMG, that's lovely!! Violets, gardenia, very creamy, sweet but not foody. On my skin: it gets a little darker... spicy musk and still violets. It's okay, but I preferred it in the bottle. I suspect there's dragon's blood as well (and I'm not a fan). After a while: sweet creamy floral. Very strong throw as well. Verdict: very beautiful although I'm not a floral girl.

In the bottle: jasmine... jasmine... and wait... jasmine. On my skin: you won't believe it!! JASMINE! But it doesn't have this stinky half-rotten smell Bpal jasmine usually makes on me. After a while: still jasmine, but it's actually very pretty. Granted, I'm not a floral girl but as I said, usually Bpal jasmine is really unbearable with my skin chemistry and this one is not. Verdict: too floral for me, but very nice.

In the bottle: light, green, slightly herbal, somehow crystalline. Very pretty. On my skin: Sweet floral and still a little herbal. It's hard to describe, it smells very complex to me. After a while: lavendar, grass and some sugar... lovely, lovely. Verdict: it's been a while since I last fell in love with a Bpal scent like this. Need a bottle .

In the bottle: floral, incensey and a little sour. Quite unusual. On my skin: smokey, muskey floral (sorry I cannot recognize what flower it is. I usually don't like floral scents but I must admit this one could be an exception). After a while: sharper floral (still encensey/smokey though). It's still very elegant but I'm afraid it's not exactly right for me. Verdict: the imp will do.
-
In the bottle: black musk and something herbal. Masculine scent. On my skin: it gets lighter and much more green (herbal). It's not unpleasant. After a while: it vanishes extremely quickly, I cannot smell anything anymore. Verdict: well, no, unluckily my skin seems to eat it.

I hope tonka won't ruin the whole thing as it often does for me :/ In the bottle: okay, the characteristic burnt plastic small also known as tonka is terribly prominent. I recognize lime and lilac behind (both lovely little things struggling not to be totally killed by nasty tonka!). On my skin: it burns and smells like burnt tyres. Nothing else. It makes me think of Red Lantern (and that's NOT a good thing). After a while: well, I have to scrub it off, it was really burning and tonka makes me nauseous. Verdict: it probably would be lovely without tonka.
-
In the bottle: aw, I like it! Spicy citrus (yeah, I know there is no citrus listed) and amber. On my skin: spicy amber. It might get a little bit too "hot" for me, I'm afraid. After a while: there's passion flower now... it's still very spicy. I can't say I don't like it but I'm not used to wear such fragrances. Verdict: I'll have to retry. I cannot make my mind right now.

Rose and jasmine together, I don't have my hopes up! In the bottle: ROSE². Funnily enough, I quite like it, it's very much rose, but not the cloying old lady's rose. On my skin: on me, it's quite strong and not watery at all. Still rose, of course, with something sour (hello jasmine!) trying to make an appearance. After a while: arf, jasmine soap! Still a hint of rose, but it doesn't make it any better. Verdict: terribly surprising, yeah... NOT for me!
-
In the bottle: ouch, that scares me off. It's very perfumey. Blooming flowers. On my skin: big yellow stain... erm, I mean... quite special. Still floral, but not cloying anymore, and there's a bit of a herbal note as well. After a while: it stays very heavy... heavy old woman's flowers (probably pensies). I don't like it at all. Verdict: get if off of me!!
-
In the bottle : very light and fresh. There's some melon in there. Flowery melon, to be precise. On my skin: it gets all floral, very powerful (and yet light) white flowers. It's very pretty but I can't imagine wearing this, as I'm not a floral fan. After a while: it gets very pretty... it feels like very light white musk with a touch of unidentified flower. I wish I didn't have to wait for at least 2 hours to get this because it's really a very elegant fragrance, the kind of floral I could wear quite often. Verdict: the imp will do.
-
In the bottle: sickly sweet. Vanilla and something like hazelnut (not exactly that though). On my skin: buttered vanilla, and something sour and bitter (grapefruit?). After a while: encensey jasmine. I don't like jasmine and it seems vanilla has totally faded away to let jasmine take all the room. Verdict: really not my kind of scent.
-
In the bottle: lots of cider and wine, and some caramel. I don't smell the flowers at all. On my skin: amber and wine. It's okay. Not at all what I expected but not bad. After a couple of hours: ah carnations, hello! Carnations and amber. I quite like this stage, I must say. Verdict: mmm I might give it a second chance, even if it hasn't been love at first sight.
-
In the bottle: oh my god, it's horrible... red musk and cassia... and leather, and something woody. EEk you should add patchouli and you'd be sure I'd throw up. On my skin: leather and cassia. Lots of leather, some cassia and a hint of sugar cane. I don't like it and the cassia feels uncomfortable on my skin. After a couple of hour: still red musk and the occasional cassia. I don't like it at all. I never had any mango from this... mango would have made the whole experience so much better Verdict: not even trying the imp a second time.
-
In the bottle: cucumber salad, plus something grass, and maybe a hint of white floral. On my skin: cucumber, cucumber all over. That's marvelous After a couple of hours: still cucumber, and some florals, I'm quite sure there is some white floral here. But it's very discreet and very beautiful. It's not very grass as I was afraid it'd be. Verdict: I'm keeping my imp at the very least. I'm sure it should be perfect layered with something very sweet, or something with coconut.
-
In the bottle: very strong and indeed exotic lily. On my skin: heavy lilies, nearly cloying. It's a beautiful lily scent but I couldn't imagine wearing this for a whole day. I'd end up with a migraine. After a couple of hours: lily still but with lots more spices. It makes it even less to my liking. Verdict: no (but I never liked any scent with lots of lilies anyway).
-
In the bottle: very fruity. Lime and bergamot jump to my nose first. Sniffing a little more, I get grapefruit! Very pink grapefruit! On my skin: it gets warmer, citrus cream or anything. It's a feel good, energetic scent. After a couple of hours: in the drydown phase, I get lime and grapefruit, plus some sweet delicate rose. Not cloying. Verdict: I don't need one more citrussy scent but if I did, I'd go for Croquet for sure.
-
In the bottle : Oh my, that's weird. I was expecting something 100% floral (I focussed on the rose part in the description) and what do I get? Something foody. It smells like cake, maybe sponge cake. On my skin: haha burnt plastic of course. But the rose is showing. So, it gives me rose-scented burnt plastic. At least, it's not common. After a couple of hours: it burns more and more and more, so I finally had to wash it off. Verdict: foody, so, not for me.
-
In the bottle: fresh, red, juicy apple. I feel like biting in it!! On my skin: apple stays forward, but there's something else, something sharper, something darker that I'm not sure I recognize (I'd go for oleander though). After a couple of hours: it fades away quite quickly, without morphing much. Verdict: quite lovely, but I'd do without the "poisoned part" (opium and oleander). I don't think I need more.
-
In the bottle: skin musk. Very strong skin musk. I'm having an attraction/repulsion reaction. I don't like it but I can't stop sniffing it. On my skin: musk and frankincense (that would be the spiced Moroccan stuff, I guess). I still don't really like it, but find it terribly sensual, nearly animal. I don't get any caramel (which is good as it always ends up as burnt plastic on me) and only a hint of honey (good too as my skin amps honey like crazy). I cannot stop putting my wrist to my nose, and each time I think "no, but..." and so I sniff again. After a couple of hours: spiced honey. The musk has calmed down finally. Verdict: I know this is not "me", but I might very well keep the imp because it makes me feel so bloody sexy!
