I had a feeling this would not be an absolute favorite. I knew it would be nice, and I'd definitely use the imp up, but not a 5 mL bottle for me. So I swipe the imp on and smell. And I smell... pears?! What? I don't understand why, but this goes straight to a pear scent with me and stays that way. I will it to morph into a note that's actually listed, but no, stubbornly pear. Of course, on my mother, it's far more balanced and wonderfully dark roses. I don't understand body chemistry.

WHOA. This is a very cherry scent. It's very, very sweet. I don't like many sweet or foody scents (O, for instance, while it dries fairly smoothly, it's way too sweet for me), and unfortunately this isn't an exception. If you like cherry and sweet scents, this is for you. This, however, was definitely not me.

Mm, Dragon's Blood! I have found blends with Dragon's Blood in them are utterly divine and this is no exception. This is what I had searched for, a scent similar to Blood but not the same. Instead of smelling like blood pounding under questing lips (either for sex or food, you decide ), it's the smell of blood coursing through your veins during a good hunt. This isn't the smell of prey, this is the predator.

I had put out an ISO for furry feral scents in the Recommendations forum, and was recced this one. While it doesn't invoke that feeling, it's definitely a favorite. The scent is less a furry feral and more a dry, leathery feral. It's lovely, and so very feral and animalistic, but more suited for a dragon friend of mine and less suited for the girl with fox ears.

Ooooh. This has the woodsy/herby scent in it that makes Yggdrasil so nice, but it's far, far more masculine than Yggdrasil could ever be. I rather like masculine scents, and I adore the wood/herb blend scent. When I have a chance, I am replacing my imp with a 5 mL bottle of this.

Ooooh, yum. When I first put this on, there is a overwhelming cherry smell. Thankfully, it mellows into a much darker scent with a ripe cherry undertone. I've seen people say it's a vampiric scent, good for those with blood drinking tendancies... I disagree. This is the scent of blood just under the surface, pounding quickly in fear or arousal inviting any blood drinkers or meat eaters to come and have a little taste. This is the scent of blood just under your nose as you lick your partner's wrist with your fingers teasing further below. Predator, prey, and sex, all in one glorious bottle. Yum.

I had to get this by name alone. I adore foxes and with the myth of the kitsune, it sounded quite lovely. In the bottle, it was a really bright! I smelled a little musk, but mostly a bright floral scent. But on me, the musk just unfolded. It was still rather light, and it went fruity/floral, but there was a hint of fur behind it. Something that mischeviously teased my senses. I absolutely adore this scent.

While my skin completely eats rose scents, my mother's skin loves them. And good thing is she loves rose scents as well! So to keep her from stealing my imp of Whip (and to make a lovely birthday present for her), I'm thinking about getting her an imp of Whip and five other rose scents. Does anyone have suggestions for imps I can get for her?

I'm rather new to the whole BPAL experience, but oh, this one definitely got me hooked. Bottle: I smelled mostly red wine. I love the first sniff of wine, but the alcohol scent quickly overcomes anything else and gives me a headache. I find it to be very sharp in the bottle, and makes me wonder just WHY I love it so much. Skin: Oh yeah. Because it goes very sweet on me and not in a alignment-good way. I smell a little vanilla, but there is honey and wine and definitely something smelling of blood. This is the sweetness of the cute little demon girl before she rips your face off. There's not much of a throw. It sticks very close to your skin. I've had a hard time keeping my nose away from my wrist whenever I wear this. I love this so much!
