In the vial: Ginger, ginger and more ginger Wet on the skin: Fresh ginger, sugar and citrus!!! The citrus is like a spicy citrus peel though that is dipped in ginger and sugar. This is OMG amazing. On drydown: The citrus goes to the background and almost disappears completely. What is left is the scent of warm ginger cookies with sugar sprinkled on the top. This is the most amazing scent and I can't stop swooning over my arm. It has now been an hour and I can still smell the strong ginger cookies scent wafting up to my nose. This has great throw and is just so gorgeous. I am in love!

In the vial it smells strongly of fir trees. Gorgeous big trees. Wet on the skin I can smell something almost aquatic, which while it blends with that glorious fir gives me the image of tons of trees in the middle of winter with heavy snow all over each branch. On drydown, the scent remains for me and is consistant. This has a looooot of throw and it stays for quite some time. I really love this scent.

when you first put it on very strong, very green, very heavy scent, you can smell the deep pine and other woodsy and herbal scents in it. Its almost too much. after about 20 minutes, the scent mellows and transforms into a nice earthy outdoorsy scent, which is not nearly as strong as it was when wet, you can almost imagine yourself under a beautiful tree in a very lush green park, the scent is very pleasant and beautiful. This actually blended very well with my chemistry and once it mellowed is a very nice calming scent and it has lasted 4 hours and had no signs of fading anytime soon.. which is very nice.

In the bottle, the softest rose you ever smelled, so faint. On skin, the same though as it is drying down the rose scent comes forth a bit more. You can barely smell this on but what I do smell is absolutely gorgeous. I adore roses and soft sweet roses are simply divine!

This one has been on my want list a while. In the vial I smell the cranberry. Wet on the skin, the ginger pops out and says HI! slightly and blends with the cranberry scent to add a little zing. On drydown it is the same but mellows into a very nice scent.

Pineapple!!!! In the bottle it smells like a nutty pineapple glaze. Wet on the skin that cherry tart bursts forth and on drydown you get this scent that I can only describe as the most delicious pineapple cherry glaze with a nutty/creamy base. SO YUMMY! I will get a bottle of this someday. Oh yes I will.

In the bottle it is a super sharp sweet cake scent with that tart berry. On the skin it is exactly the same as it is in the vial. Very nice! On drydown it really is a very pretty scent. Foody but not sickeningly so. The sharp/tart part mellows and it is a light berry cake scent. on me. I like this one!

Well, I was sure I was going to adore this. I love ginger scents and I love cinnamon and clove and the spicier scents Beth makes, and I do like it but I don't love it. It is very sweet and light in the vial, I could barely smell it. Once I put it on I could smell the gingerbread popping through but the sweetness knocked all of the spicy out by the time it was dry on me and it was almost all light ginger sugar after about an hour on. It is a nice scent, but it isn't a scent that I will by a bottle of. It is a very warm, cozy scent though and I think I will keep it for December when I am in the holiday mood.

Samhain '05 This is such a warm scent in the vial, I am getting the nutmeg and the clove pretty strongly. On the skin, the pumpkin and the fir come out and say hello, it also has an aspect of it that smells of an Autumn bonfire. Its dry now and it is an utterly gorgeous scent. Samhain is my favorite holiday of the year and this scent captures the essence of it very well. This one isn't as foody as it sounds.. It is more spicy/smokey with that very green fir scent with the foody aspects in the background.

Ok in the vial its all chocolate to me with a hint of something else, that I can't put my finger on, possibly the coconut. On the skin and on drydown: THIN MINT COOKIES dipped in rum and coconut. . This is amazing and stays amazing on me!!!

This is a candy lovers dream. It is all peppermint in the vial. Very strong peppermint, a wake you up kind of peppermint. On the skin, the omg in your face peppermint mellows as it dries and becomes this lovely powdered sugar with peppermint scent. It truly is gorgeous and I do believe a bottle will need to be found in the future. This imp will be hoarded like gold until then though ding ding ding winnar!

In the vial: Tea with Milk and Pepper. Wet on the skin: Oh my god. This is amazing. The ginger pops forward immediately and blends with the milky black tea and pepper. The tea scent is very prominent on the skin. It is a warm and beautiful scent. On drydown: I can smell the linen now and something almost lemony, how odd. The peppery spice is almost gone but the tea and milk is still there with a faint gingery background. This is a really complex scent and I am glad that I got this now.

In the vial: OMG chocolate love!! Eeeeeeeeeeee There is a slight milkiness to this which is the vanilla I would guess. The chocolate is much different from Bliss or any of the other chocolates that I have tested. Wet on the skin: Holy sandalwood and chocolate batman! I've lost all of the vanilla for some reason and it is all sandalwood and chocolate. It is a really nice combination though. This kind of reminds me of the Choxie Aztec Thin bar that I adore that has Ancho Chilis in it. On drydown: Oh wow, this didn't turn icky. I've had a bad run of luck with the chocolate blends going icky on me with the exception of Bliss which I adore. This is all sandalwood and chocolate with a faintest hint of myrrh which I love. This is a really exotic scent to me. I really do love this.

In the vial: Almost a sweet honey yet spicy scent. Its kinda faint to my nose though. I suppose I am used to the bowl you over spicy love from Three Witches, this is much softer. Wet on the skin: The honey runs to the back of the pack and the cinnamon and peppers come forward. This is a truly lovely scent. The honey blends so well with the spicyness of the oil. I have a feeling this is going to be one of my new favorite GCs. On drydown: The clove and ginger come out to play as it dries and mixes well with the cinnamon/pepper and honey love that is goin on. It isn't a super strong scent though, which is surprising considering most of the spicy scents I have tried have been very strong. This is gorgeous, it is light but yet spicy and very foody. I love this and will need a bottle *adds it to my list*

In the vial: This is very soft. I smell the vanilla and sweet pea straight off. This is not a foody vanilla scent though. Wet on the skin: Same scent but the vanilla comes more to the forefront. This is a very light scent on, I keep having to bring my wrist up to my face to smell it. Still sweet pea and vanilla on me. On drydown: Yikes, my skin swallowed all the scent. Its almost gone. I can smell a faint amount of vanilla and what I think may be the sandalwood. Wow, its been a long time since something faded so fast on me. Like within 10 minutes, poof! Gone.

In the vial: Its like... snow. A very white snowy winter day with a very faint hint of a minty pine. Wet on the skin: Oh wow, Its very pine/green scent blossoming out with a hint of mint. There is a slight sweetness which I am guessing is the fruits. I am actually liking this one a lot. On drydown: This is one gorgeous winter floral/green with a hint of mint and berries once it dries. Its like being in the mountains on a winter day walking through a thicket of pine trees with snow and ice all around you. I see why this one is so sought after.

In the vial, I'm dead serious it smells just like Waffle Crisp cereal to me lol Its nice though, very toffee/caramelized sugary scent. Wet on the skin: This reminds me of what I was hoping Gluttony would be. Very decadent, buttery candied sugar and toffee sweet scent but without the nausea inducing quality that Gluttony had (for me). This has a hell of a throw and is just nice. On drydown: It mellows a little but the scent isn't morphing much at all. Although the scent is more butterscotch to me (yay!) than toffee now. This is really really nice. I've a feeling this one is going to have some staying power too, its been on almost an hour now and its showing no signs of major fading.. Just wow! I need a full imp of this I think :x

In the vial, I am getting pure apple almost.. Its like stepping into an apple orchard. So gorgeous. Wet on the skin, the smokey autumny love that is present in some of Beths scents pops out. The apples blend with this into an amazing scent that I hope never goes away.. but.. On drydown.. the apple has left the building. I have lost all fruit and it morphed into dusty late summer florals mixed with that gorgeous smokey undertone. I really wish the apple scent would have held on my skin, I am smelling no fruit at all.. the florals are pretty though, nothing too heavy, they are quite lovely and don't give me a headache at all like soem florals do. I am keeping this imp and am going to use it as a room scent because OMG in the vial it is pure apple love.

I was torn on wanting to try this because florals and I don't get along. I am SO glad I got this one. In the vial, it is a crisp and cold yet warm at the same time scent. Its hard to pick out the notes but it is buttery sweet with the most amazing vanilla undertone. Wet on the skin, you start to see why it is called Snow White, it is soft and sweet, with a touch of foody vanilla in it mixing with the super light florals that come out when wet. It is pure white light to me. On drydown, a surprising honey coconut pops out and blends with the vanilla florals (at least it does on me lol). It is light and wonderful, but not fleeting or fading. This is one scent I could wear always.

Yes! In the vial it is a super strong minty scent. Its a wake you up and make you alert type scent. Wet on the skin, that strong mint is very much in the forefront, the mint is like smelling a mint plant (not peppermint, mint) and you start to smell the aquatic scents pop out in there. It does remind me of a cold winters day in that sense. On drydown the mint mellows some and makes for one of the most awesome scents ever. This one has staying power too. I love this, a lot!

In the vial it is a super sweet, bubblegummy, cotton candy, sweet as hell scent. Its super sweet and it is very much the kind of scent I would wear. Wet on the skin, the playful scents all blend and its still very sweet, almost tooth rottingly so. Much to my dismay though, on drydown, it goes all floral on me and loses almost every bit of that wonderful sweetness that once was. I may acquire this in the future for room scent use but on my skin it makes me sad.. I was sure this was the one too!

In the vial it is sweet, warm vanilla is what I get. On the skin all I smell is warm vanilla cupcakes with a butter cream (or maybe cream cheese) frosting. On drydown its not changing or morphing either. It is sheer love. This is bumping Midway out for the third favorite BPAL scent spot. No doubt. I NEED MORE.

gonna preface and say this is not aged, its lab fresh Snake Oil, I've yet to try aged.. In the vial it is a semi-spicy kinda strong scent. I can't pick out the notes to be honest but its very incense-y. Wet on the skin, its the same strong scent but it almost immediately starts to calm down. There is a creamy base (the vanilla) to this that beats down that strong bowl you over incense scent. Dry on the skin it morphs into this lovely scent. Its light but strong enough that I am getting wafts of it. I am getting that incense scent still but there is a peek of what I can only describe as a gingery scent coming forth and blending gorgeously with the creamy vanilla base. This is a really nice scent. Its not something I would wear all the time but I see why people love this.

In the vial: A very light, soft scent.. I can barely make out any notes but I do smell a faint minty/herby scent. Wet on the skin: Its still light but the mint blossoms a bit and the tea comes out and blends nicely. It smells a lot like mint leaf though. Dry: Its still faint with a distinct aquatic note popping through, the mint tea is still present though. This is a very gender neutral scent to me, leaning more toward masculine. It is very nice though and the notes didn't go all weird on my skin so that is a huge plus.

This is all biting Grapefruit in the vial. It is gorgeous though and would be wonderful in a scent locket I think. Wet, the tea comes out a little bit but the citrusy Grapefruit note still dominates. On drydown it is an absolutely gorgeous ginger tea scent with the citrus still there but mellowed tremendously, and a hint of floral pops out but not so much that it overpowers the gorgeous gingered tea scent. This one is truly lovely.
