crisp, minty, fresh, medicinal and very dark. this is perfect.

musk and patchouli, like voodoo, but stronger. slightly masculine and dusty, but it certainly suits my mood right now. not a big bottle, but nice for occasional wear.
-
Beautiful peach and riceflower in the vial and wet on skin. As it dries down it turns more floral, roses come out and my skin chemistry destroys it. I need a scent locket.
-
in vial, strong and masculine (like an after shave lotion) on skin: opium and musk, no civet so far. still very strong, but not bad. drydown: there's the civet and it works with my skin chemistry but very animalistic, i'm almost afraid to wear this. could be a lovely cold weather scent when you feel.. naughty.

Sandalwood + dry shrub growing by the beach on a hot summer day. I get only very very faint floral whiff. Mostly sandalwood with hints of orris and dragon's blood. Dusty and slightly sweet. Love it.

This is all tea and berries. Very juicy, very deep red. I love it initially, but I dont like the drydown so I reapply a lot.

unfortunately when I got my package my de sade imp was broken and most of the oil spilled all over the plastic bag which contained the imps. but when I opened the bag it smelled so fantastic that I still keep it in my purse and it smells divine. Leather, leather, leather. Raw leather. If you know how Chanel's Cuir de Russie smells like, take away the flowery note and it is De Sade. I managed to get a few drops of oil on my skin and I love it! I can only imagine how wonderful this would be on a guy. It's dark and sexy but not overly masculine. Need a new imp of this one! Perhaps a bottle. edit: this has a nice throw, but I don't adore how it smells close to the skin (my body chemistry). pendant material!

Definitely Masabakes - blackcurrant and myrrh.

I need some help. I need someone to compare for me Talvikuu and Nocnitsa. Descriptions suggest that these two might be similar, except that Nocnitsa has this note of "upturned earth". Any ideas? I already have Talvikuu and love it. Now I'm thinking about getting a bottle of Nocnitsa, and am not sure whether I'll like it.. -
mmm, Talvikuu fits here perfectly. It's like a frozen lake hidden in a snow covered forest, but also sweet, like gingerbread.

Persephone and Phantom Queen are winners. -
rose, thou art sick! wet: this is all rosey on me. dry: pomegranate and rose ->wonderful combination This makes me feel really juicy and feminine. A perfect scent for late springtime.

This is one of my top 3 bpal scents (together with talvikuu and nefertiti). it reminds me of the moment just after the rain in the highlands. I always wear it when I travel by plane because it makes me feel so free, like I'm flying across the sky. It's apples and herbs, very pretty. It's a men magnet, too. Phantom Queen makes me feel like a queen, need a biger bottle.

I am not a fan of frutiy scents. But this is heavenly! I LOVE this! Pear, herbs and flowers in a perfect harmony. This is aperfect fragrance for summer. I wish everything around smelled like Tenochtitlan. This is warm summer breeze and a pear tree, a basket full of herbs somebody forgot in the flower garden. Just wonderful. Wish it had a little bit more throw.

this one is a beauty. it is one of te most unusual fragrances I've ever had a chance to try. this is a wonderful harmony of different kinds of wood and it's just amazing on my skin. i don't even care that it really is a tad masculine. need to get a bottle of this one.

Wet on skin very herbal but lovely. It's sharp and wicked and very mature. It is very interesting and I'm glad I tried it. Dry on my skin, this is all soapy roses with just a hint of rosemary. My mom on the other hand doesn't get roses at all and her body chemistry makes Catherine glow! It really smells great on her.

I got a job today and I am almost certain Nefertiti did its part. If not directly, it made me feel faboulous and I guess that feeling radiates from inside

this one is so very unique and very beautiful. vetiver is strong when wet, but drydown is amazing, with the most wonderful floral bouquet. it must be because of the cactus flower. it is really wonderful. this is not a scent of death but of a desert coming back to life. a perfect scent for cool summer nights.

This is so much better than I expected. If ancient legends had a scent this would be it! The scent of wine, honey and sundried herbs in the Mediterranean. It's fairly strong wet on skin, but dried it's fantastic. Wine is dominant, than incense and herbs take over and then the circle repeats. The oil has a ritual quality to it and I don't think it is an every day scent. Delphi is the result of our favorite perfumer's great skill.

in the bottle and wet on skin Cairo smells like an exotic fruits syrup. dry, it turns incensy and I love it! there is still sweetness I could live without but overall this is a very nice summery scent. It's very suggestive, too. Makes me think of a walk through the markets of Cairo full of ripe fruits with a faint scent of incense pervading the air. edit: this is incredibly long lasting - 12 hours after applying it's still there.

this is a dark, smoky, medicinal scent. exactly the type one would expect to come from an alchemy lab. it's amazingly dual in nature, sacred frankincense, fiery cinnamon and sweet powdery violet. the notes swirl around each other and the result is a heady intoxicating scent with a great throw. not overly masculine scent but definitely one to wear with confidence. a scent of dark experience. after a few hours Faustus reminds me of old dusty books, a perfect scent for a librarian

This is a screaming scent! Wild vetiver, poor violets drowning in the background. Vetiver killed the violets completely! All I can smell is vetiver and dirt, where violets used to grow. But I like it! It smells fresh, like dewy grass in the middle of a cool night. This is a scent not to wear, but to admire from the distance.

At first, this was very soapy, like an old-fashioned soap my grandmother used to make. It reminds me of long, hot summer on an island near my hometown. I can almost hear crickets and see the deep blue sea not far behind when I smell this. It may sound crazy but I can smell virgin olive oil in Silk Road. And crushed sage and thyme. It smells like Mediterranean summer, even though I can see why this is called Silk Road. Unfortunately, my imp of Silk Road broke but I'm definitely putting this on my to buy 5ml bottle list.
