It smells a little like the florals in Butterfly Garden, but paired with deeper, richer notes that make it seem more subdued and darker. It smells like springtime florals suspended in time, trapped, beautiful, but brooding and not allowed to flourish. Gorgeous.
-
It smells very woodsy, like a forboding wooden door. Very neutral scent.
-
This smells very astringent to me. Almost pretty, but with a sharpness to it that puts you slightly off-balance. Very interesting.

Summer in a bottle! It's like a spicy, richer, more complex Planting Moon. Mostly lettuce, tomato, cucumber, but it's like a spectrum of garden goodness. And the vetiver is playing nicely! A dream blend

Watermelon! Fresh, wet watermelon, not a watermelon candy smell. It smells like watermelon, flowers, herbs...like a Summer picnic on a gentle day. Really pretty.

This smells woodsy and masculine. Very fresh and balanced, not at all overpowering.
-
It smelled weird and minty and antiseptic wet, but dry it's a nice wintry floral. Still unexpectedly minty, but it and the florals are an interesting combination. Light, pretty, and unique.

It smells like a fruity sugar high condensed into those fruit candies in candy dishes. Fun but too sweet for me.

So cumin-y! Very earthy and rich-smelling.

Whoa, this description is right on the nose! The rose scent is nostalgic, and not a crisp, fresh rose but a muted, foggy tea rose perfume. Behind is a warm, woodsiness that pairs beautifully with it. It's woods without being too strong (no pine cleaner here, no pencils, no cedar shavings. Just...wood). So lovely!

It smells like mossy vetiver with a hint of...decaying pickle? Weird, weird, weird. Dark, damp, wet, desolate. Wow. Very evocative, but not a comfortable scent to wear.
-
Cocky is the right word to describe this...bold leather, alcohol, and swagger. This isn't me at all, but would be AMAZING on the right man.
-
Not too vetiver-y, which is high praise. Spicy, clashing, a bit of a cacophony. The horseradish is there, and it's kind of a fascinating note to have in a perfume, and it's what really makes this fly! I don't know if this is something I'd wear every day, but it's surprisingly pleasing and dynamic.

Sexy, clean, men's cologne. A bit of salt-spray, a bit of ozone. Extremely well-blended because it's not too sweet at all and it's hard to pick out a predominant note. Extremely lovely and warm and comforting.

This DOES smell like the ecstasy of magic--yellow and glowing. It smells like honey and frankincense on me, and the frankincense powders out after a bit (as it does on me sometimes), but it's still such a warm, sweet scent. It makes me smile.

A weird, fruity little scent! Not much hazelnut on me, it's mostly fig. It's nice, different from most BPALs, but not something I'd wear often.
-
At first this smells fruity and bubblegum like, but on it deepens into a spectacular mulled fruit scent. Spiced baked fruit, very Autumnal and delicious-smelling. After a while it turns back to bubblegum (think mulled fruit and hubba bubba). Nice, but not something I'd wear often.

Such a happy, jumping scent. It smells like green, growing newness. It smells like enthusiasm and passion and the joy of being alive. It ends up going a little soapy on my skin after a while, but it's a lovely happy kind of scent. Really different from the usual scents.

Gorgeous, gorgeous scent...the flowers are sweet and spring-like, the chocolate is light and a little decadent. And everything is gently warmed and anchored by the most smooth, languid coconut. Ohhh...yes. It has a skin-musk quality to it, the kind of scent that smells like you only better. Lovely!

The green, grassiness is fabulous in this, and the lilac is lovely. But my skin amps lilac so much that it's overwhelming and shrill to my nose. Argh! Non-lilac ampers should love this one. It's a great scent on someone else!

Rawr! I LOVE this...this is one of those slightly resinous cologne scents that's something Iron Phoenix, Streets of Detroit, Bed of Nails, Antikythera Mechanism. Masculine but not overly so, and with an aquatic/ozone-y undertone. Fantastic and bottle-worthy. Mmmm!

Predominantly honey, with hints of smokiness and metal, and with something that smells like dry grasses. A sweet, mellow scent, very pretty. Summery, but the end of summer as it turns to Fall.

For some reason this smells fruity and beach-y on my skin...it reminds me of vacation breakfasts when I would get to have Froot Loops (at home we'd only have healthy bran-laden, adult cereals, but on vacation I would get to have sugary fun cereals). And there's something about it that smells a bit like salt and sunscreen, so I smell this and I'm a kid at the beach. A weird but pleasant reaction to this complex scent .

Possibly my favorite of the Dead Leaves--they are perfectly balanced with the frankincense and copal so there's a sweet, smoky, incensey quality that pairs so beautifully with the leaf smell. Love!
-
Wet this is that dirty honey note that some honey scents have, which normally ruins a scent but in this provides an interesting contrast to the dead leaves. Dry it's just leaves with a bit of sweetness. Nice! This feels the least "dead leafy" of the 6 and more like a regular non-Autumnal scent.
