Red Musk and Dead Leaves--makes you think of very red, red leaves. And red musk always has a bit of a burning quality to it to me. The red musk in this is a bit strong on me, but it's still balanced enough that it's a lovely scent.

Dead leaves, dirty tobacco, and a bit of spicy sweetness. Dry, the sweetness comes out more and it just feels like drinking a warm mug of tea on a cold day, smelling the leaves turning. Sigh...

Dead Leaves and Tinkerbell perfume from my childhood. Warm, comforting, and fun.

One of my all-time favorites--the most true to life pancake and syrup scent ever! Absolutely delicious.

Lola seems like it would be a strange combination, but these notes together form a compelling floral. Adult, elegant, composed...really beautiful and womanly.

This smells like White Rain shampoo to me, if White Rain shampoo had been a complex, real, true apple. It reminds me of childhood, and smells so clean and sweet. Hmmm, love it!

Popcorn, popcorn, popcorn. You can't put this on without wanting to head for the microwave . Or the movie theater!

This was my favorite of the Hallowenches perfume oils! Light, fruity brightness paired with the lavender. It just sparkled.
-
It reminded me of TKO only in that it was also lavender and was so soothing and reminded you of bedtime without even looking at the perfume name. It's a scent of sweet dreams and nocturnal journeys to imaginary kingdoms...sleepy, nostaligic, relaxing. I loved this one so much!

Sugared almond flour...sweet and delicious, and just a hint of amaretto-nuttiness to me. Mmmm!
-
Pure applesauce indeed! Tart, vibrant apple, sweet and strong and refreshing.

Jailbait meets Strawberry Sufganiyot. No perfume, just strawberry candy and bubblegum. Oh, how I love it!

Dirty, wet, mossy and moist. The perfect dirt scent!

This reminded me so much of Blood Rose bath oil to me, but in perfume form and more balanced. Sweet, a little tipsy...it could have been Witches' Saturday Night Date (wine! roses! Sweet, stolen kisses). Very pretty, and definitely Halloweenie meets Lupercalia (Hallowcalia? Luperweenie?).

Sweet apple with a hint of blackcurrant and a little warmth of clove. Sweet, but not too sweet. Lovely!

This has a lot of "meh" notes on my skin (violet, incenses) that tend to become sharp and shrill or turn to powder on me, but together this is just magic. Very well-balanced scent, nothing was too prominent, it was just a lovely, mysterious scent.

The apple scents can't miss this year! I tried this along with Candied Apple, and while C.A. was sweet and true to scent, Apple Cider had a little fizzy kick to it and I think champagne/fizzy scent fans will LOVE this. So festive, and something that you can wear through Yule.

A surprise favorite for me--a bit like the First Love Fades Too Atmo from Lupercalia this year, but the lavender is a little crisper. Really lovely.

I remember earlier candy apple-type scents having an almost acetone undertone, but this one smells much more true to form. A sweet, lovely apple with just a bit more depth, and not chemical at all.

Wood, pencil shavings, a little graphite...for all the weird kids who used to smell the pencil sharpener as a kid, the perfect scent! Perfect

Very, very cucumber. Which is really nice, actually! Not too green, and not the plastic smell you might fear from "polyester". Nice, light, fresh smelling.

Apple and coconut! The best of both Tiki an Halloweenie worlds <3

Scents like this give me hope for incense blends. So many go to powder on me, but this one had more depth to it--maybe I'm not aging them enough? It didn't last as long as I would have liked, but while it was present it was really light and pretty and contemplative.

Grievous indeed! If the Lace family and the Vulva family are scent series, there should also be a "Vetiver Death" series, and this scent certainly fits the bill . I tried it (because, given enough time and skin-real estate, I will try anything), but the vetiver immediately started punching me in the nose and trying to take my lunch money. If you like vetiver, and you don't sometimes amp it (like I do), give this is a try.

This reminded me of Sheol, a dark, musky, resinous sweetness. It dried very similar to how it was wet, but a little less sweet and more dry and incensey. One of those blends that would be amazing on the right person, but was just okay on me.
