Thanks so much for this review/tutorial!! I actually have a Diva Cup..had it for over a year now and I got frustrated with the insertion process and forgot about it. So this really helped me..I'm gonna give the Diva Cup another shot!

The TAL oil Blinding Glory of Love smells just like Spellbound w/ a shot of mint to it. I love it!!

The problem I have is finding good oranges..our market carries the kind that tend to be on the dry side & have no flavor whatsoever! A few months outta the year they do carry the tangelos & every once in awhile we get a small crate that is so succulent & sweet that we cherish each one as if it were mana from heaven. Apples..they make me hungry too..they sate me for about 20 mins and then you'll find me poking my head into the pantry/fridge once again. hehe I made a quick cake (Jiffy yellow cake) 2nite w/ chunks of apples & cinnamon/sugar on top and it was SO delish..not too sweet or heavy. About Che..I agree (ha) that he was quite handsome,which no doubt was half of his appeal to some. I have a really huge 'coffee table' book about his life w/ tons of pics & I have to disagree w/ your friend on him being 'still cute' after being shot to hell. At least from the pics I have seen..it aint pretty..and it actually made me cry. I dont think I could ever look at 'em again, truthfully. Your friend sounds like she was a wonderful person..and shes the same age as my Mum. Way too young to die, for sure. *hugz*

Observing the oil itself, it is tinged w/ a reddish-orange tint..very cool! In the bottle: This is so surprising to me..I can smell the sweetness of myrrh yet the bite of pepper @ the same time..the steely note kinda catches at the back of my throat..it actually made my hairs stand up on my neck! My goodness..thats a first. On the skin: the dragon's blood & leather peek out..they are beautifully intertwined w/ one another..the other notes kinda support these two @ the moment. Its such a smooth blend w/ such an enticing, yet commanding presence. Mmm.. Afterhours: This has dried down to a smokey blood laced labdanum/benzoin(?) haze..its ever so slightly powdery but so far from 'stuffy' old lady powdery. heh I really really like this..I'm sure it will blossom into a torrid love affair soon..

In the Bottle: Bright patchouli intertwined w/ geranium & bay rum..mmm!! On the Skin: Now there's the opoponax..sweet resinous & slightly bitter florals Afterhours: Mellowed down to a very sexy black amber/night musk(?) haze..it feels great wearing this blend..I knew I was a fool not to order more than one bottle! Oh, and Brian..here ya go Well done!

In the bottle: whoa..hellllo jasmine/pear/lotus! On the Skin: this has mellowed almostly instantly..jasmine..yup.lotus..still there..I'm pickin up a slight cucumberish/musky smell as well..hrmm! Afterhours: This has softened to an airy/dusty dark floral..its really quite lovely but I'm not sure if I need a whole bottle of this. Definitely one of Beth's best blends to date, though!

MLVI (#1056): (My 4th and final bottle!! Noooo!!) In the bottle: Hrm..this smells just like Montresor again. On the Skin: I can detect a sweet floral w/ the winey notes Afterhours: a powdery floral wine Not really sure what to do with this..i like Montresor but i dont need 3 bottles that smell alike. Off to ze swappies!

CMXIV (914) In the bottle: Whoa. This is really reminding me of a Maelstrom sniff. Its like a really biting version of Fortunato..yet i can detect the sweetness of Montresor as well.. On the skin: Damn! its like a really sharp peppery cherry brandy..?? Afterhours: this has dried down to a faint lemony-oak sugar booze..how lovely is this?! omg.

DCCV (705) At first sniff I was mildly offended and pretty sure this wasnt going to be 'my' scent. (I'm a heavy musk/incense/foody junkie)Floral lovers would really like this I'm assuming..its got some slight citrus accents & an ozone/aquatic accords thrown in. It has dried down to a nice relaxing spa-ish smell..it might make a good sleepy scent if I dont swap it away.

CDXXVII or #427 I changed this review because i just compared it to Sleepy Moon which I swear this smells like only its like Sleepy's little sleazy sister (dont ask)cuz its a lighter version but dries down to a sexy sugary floral which is really quite nice but I dont know if I want another bottle of Sleepy Moon... hehhe

(omg that smilie! hehe) I did see a great recipe from Curtis Stone on tlc.com..i hope you dont mind me posting another version? I'm determined to try every version of Sangria now, wheee! Serves 6 to 8 Ingredients: Two 750-ml bottles light and fruity Rioja wine or Beaujolais wine 2/3 cup/145 ml fresh orange juice 1/2 cup/100 ml Cointreau 1/4 cup/45 ml brandy 2 Fuji apples, quartered, cored and thinly sliced 1 ruby-red grapefruit, quartered and thinly sliced 1 Valencia orange, quartered and thinly sliced 1 lemon, quartered and thinly sliced 1 lime, quartered and thinly sliced Ice cubes Method: Stir all the ingredients except the ice cubes in a large jug or pitcher. Cover and refrigerate until cold. Add the ice cubes to the sangria and stir with a wooden spoon. Drink and be merry!

Ok, more than a single itch..how about 43 of em?(yes, i counted) Thats what i get for going canoeing and not applying Deet/Bug Off..i was a feast for many skeeters and the sad thing is I didnt even realize they were biting me. So i just got done soaking in Aveeno oatmeal bath and it does feel alot better but the urge to tear & scratch my flesh is about to drive me to the brink of madness. I was actually crying cuz it hurt so much yet I had to keep itching away. It doesnt help that most of them are in clusters around my ankles & tops of me feet. Gargh. This always happens, last year I went canoeing and got into a patch of poison ivy and was in HELL for weeks and now this. Geeez. Soo yeah. I almost forgot I had a blog =0 I've been watching TLC's Take Home Chef w/ Curtis Stone and I think I'm crushin' on the guy big time. Those eyes, the messy hair, the bod.. Taking her to Noah's Ark Waterpark, going camping, zoo visits, fishing..etc etc. She's never been outside of Atlanta and her mother is a selfish twit(and thats putting it nicely) and never takes her anywhere or buys her anything. She probably wont want to go back home cuz she's gonna get spoiled majorly here. When she turns 12 in November Georgia law allows children to decide who they want to live with...so we'll see what happens then. I'm rambling 2nite and drinking mah mojitos 12 mint leaves & half a lime crushed w/ 4 tsp sugar, add ice, add 1.5 shots rum & add club soda to top it off..absolute heaven on a hot summer night.

On the skin: Whoa..theres something remotely spicy in this..and the sugary booze is really prevailing now Afterhours: the drydown on this is reaaaallly nice and very faint (sadly!)..a sexy sugary musk. Damn, if only it lasted longer! Regardless, i'd love another bottle.. *stalks swaps*

Ok, so the other 2 posts are from March and I just never made them "public" because I'm a fool when it comes to learnin the whole bloggin' craziness. Thanks to Babylon for clueing me rusty brain into how things work.. Atlanta went really really well, my niece Alyvia is the sweetest girl evah..and she has our family's touch of offbeat humor & her laugh is near identical to mine which kinda freaked everyone out! She is flying here for the summer in early June and leaving in late August..so we'll have alot of time to hang out & be nutty once again! I will try to post some pics sometime soon..she's a doll! hehe Other night @ work(i'm a CNA) they stuck me on a unit that I've never been on before..an all male unit & they were all sexual deviants or extremely aggressive in general. It was a NIGHTMARE and i was scared for my life. Why the FUCK did they stick two girls (the other girl had never been on the unit either) on a unit w/ no explanation or w/ any idea as to how these men were...?! We have no training in dealing w/ outright sexual comments or physical aggression. I know basic self defense and could defend myself pretty well against one man..but what about 2 or 3 @ one time? UGH!!! I was so irrate..i called the shift scheduler and asked why the FUCK we were there to begin with and she simply said " we didnt have a choice..the regulars on that unit called in sick.." and went on with some other lame ass excuses. I told her i was reporting her ass for endangering not only us but the residents as well cuz we are not trained to work such a unit. Mind you, I'm a regular on an Alzheimers unit in the building ACROSS the street and they dragged my ass over there..it was like WHOA..where the HELL did I just transport to? My unit is so calm (mostly) and non aggressive..i watch out for the residents and things are pretty happy & peaceful. Well this unit was like walking into Hell itself..you could feel it in the air..the sexual tension was so thick you coulda spread it on your toast. First thing I get bombarded by sexual commentary "Hey, you're looking good sweetheart..come here..i wanna show you something in my room! It will only take a second..c;mon!" *HEEBIE JEEBIES* Holy fuck. I finally get down to the nurses office and lock the door behind me..the other girl is standing there and is like "What the hell are they thinking putting us on this unit?! OMG. what are we gonna do?" So all night long we went everywhere together and did cares on only the men we felt wouldnt attack us. We got spit on..cursed at and grabbed at..thankfully noone successfully grabbed us or pinned us down. It was so bad that we had to lock ourselves into the unit station for a half hour while some guy pummeled the door and demanded that we wash him up because we are whores and thats our job to wash his privates. GAAAAAH!!! So i opened up the upper half of the door and told him quite bluntly "Yer going to the Green room, "Hannibal"..how do you feel about that?! And if it was up to me you'd be there for eternity!!" I then proceeded to call Mr. Green (padded room) and he was whisked away. Ahhh.. one down..who's next?! LOL (I call him Hannibal cuz he looked like Hannibal Lecters clone..*shudders*) Anyhoo..to sum it up..it was frightening and I'm not a chicken shit kinda girl..i've dealt w/ lots of physical/verbal aggression but not like that..on that kinda level. I have reported the proper people and I'm praying nothing ever happens like that to anyone ever again. <le sigh> Time for some Melatonin & a cuppa..and hopefully some pleasant dreams Listening to: Ryan Adams "Cold Roses"

In the bottle: Wow. :eek:Extreme cherry blossoms here w/ a touch of green-ness On the skin: Still very cherry blossom but i can definitely smell the bamboo & tea leaf now..wow..so pretty!! Afterhours: this has dried down to a soft, sweet floral musk..the dragons blood melded w/ sandalwood really shines in the end, which is fine w/ me! I will be coveting this bottle, it seems. heh

I tested this from Babylon out of her imp and i think my exact words were: "Dude!! Omg! NOOO!! Get it off me!!" I then proceeded to run to the sink to scrub it off..and it wouldnt come off very well let me tell ye! Sour milk and honey..not a good blend for my skin, i guess! It really turned me tummy, sadly. I feel bad for saying it too. I still love you, Beth.

In the imp: Bright green & fresh cypress..holy moly, Batman! On the skin: Bitter..here comes the juniper hangin next to the cypress! Hey..wheres the chamomile or rose..? Ehhm.. Afterhours: I can finally detect the chamomile but its so darn faint..and the rose..? I have no clue where it could be! Sadly, this has faded so quickly i cant say i'll be hanging onto this one, folks.

In the imp: Very peppery dirt-like..extreme sinus clearing! heh On the skin: About the same..dirt & pepper (must be the patchouli)..a faint whisper of florals Afterhours: a soft musky dirt..definitely lost its bite and is quite soothing to me nose! By golly, i think i likes it!
