  1. This really smells nothing like candy corn, and it smells completely different in the bottle than it does on the skin. In the bottle its sickly sweet and alcoholy, but on the skin it dries down into a dry, spicy, sweet scent. It's totally my replacement for the much more rare/sought-after Beaver Moon. I think they smell the same on my skin. Give me all your Trick or Treat!

  2. 05:

Just opening the bottle scents my room-- this stuff is STRONG! It almost has an alcohol-scent to it, not like a perfume with alcohol but like a really sweet alcoholic beverage that I just want to drink! On the skin it mellows down into a doughy cookie with frosting. Or like vanilla cake. Mmm. I don't get any spice out of this, it's all sweet and moist dough/cookie/bread. Yum

  3. Clean and clear sweet, not sticky gooey or cloying. This is fresh, sugary, fruity. I wouldn't call this a foody scent because its just so CLEAR. I think floral and fruit lovers will really appreciate this one. And I'm a foodie, and it's grand. Its all around wonderfulness!

  4. This is interesting, because it's NOTHING like I expected it to be from the description. I really don't get anything but cardamom from it, which sucks. It reminds me A LOT of Underbed, whereas Underbed smells black , EGM is more of a brown. Weird, I know, but I definitely get colors out of these two scents. This is spicy, for sure.

  5. Definitely a happy, light, floral, sunny scent. It reminds me of a traditional perfume, without the yucky alcohol-ness. It's pleasant, and I think it would be nice for spring! It's like a floral vanilla-- it makes me think of a big bouquet of fresh flowers. A HAPPY scent, for sure :P

  6. Aglaea struck me immediately-- it's sweet but not cloying, light, friendly, and HAPPY! I think it's how a princess should smell :P Kids wont sniff you and want to eat you (as I think might happen with a lot of the overly foody & rich scents like Underpants, Beaver Moon, Gluttony, Bliss, etc) but it's still sweet and feminine.

On another note-- best job ever!? haha

  7. A lot of apple, and a lot of butterscotch. I love it! Unfortunately the wear length and throw are not nearly as strong as I would like-- I feel like I would have to keep applying this every five minutes, boo!!

  8. The Glorious Grand Dame of the Pumpkin Patch! Regal Egyptian Amber, red ginger, orange peel, mandarin, cardamom, fig leaf and warm pumpkin.

This is honestly so similar to Jack on me that I have nothing more to say but hello, Jack. Maybe I need to try and compare them more, but really, the difference is hardly noticeable.

  9. In the bottle, it's all apples and non-flowery flowers. Like the floweryness in Roadhouse. Immediately I thought of this as a kinder, sweeter Roadhouse. Really nice!

On the skin and as it dries it goes all powder and perfumey floral, and then soap. Bleh.

  10. Lilith’s monstrous dragon steed: dragon’s blood resin, patchouli, pomegranate, myrrh, mimosa, cassia, blood musk and smoke.

Yeah this is definitely all cassia. I can sort of pick out some fruit and some musk in the bottle, but on my skin it's all cassia and powder. Kind of like a very sweet inferno to me.

  11. "The weather is always mild, the wine flows freely, sex is readily available, and all people enjoy eternal youth.” The Land of Plenty, also called Luilekkerland – the Lazy, Luscious Land: milk and honey, sweet cakes and wine.

In bottle: heavy and sweet, something almost sickening way way in the background. kind of scary.

Wet: WOW! so so good. Like BUTTERY gingerbread poppet. You know how Samhain is the ultimate autumn scent? Well right now this is the ultimate autumn food scent. Really really good.

Dry: So totally different. This is VERY reminiscent of Jack, without the perfumeyness that Jack can have, and not nearly as strong. There is a distinct fruit in there, probably from the wine, and a lot of butter. While I don't think it smells like cake, it makes me think of cake, if that makes sense. And while it's a huge change from wet to dry, it still makes me think of autumny, spicy/sweet foods. This is definitely going on my bottles-to-buy list.

  12. Very hot, dry and dusty. This strikes me as a masculine scent, and possibly my favorite so far. It picks up a sweetness when it's on my skin, and if it did that on a man? *swoon* yeah there is something really sexy about this. It's clean without being citrusy or aquatic, which is how most clean smells are to me. So nice!

  13. In the bottle: pine, just pine, lots of pine

Drydown: Wow, it's a smooth creamy pine, almost with something sweet behind it! The musk makes it so WARM, whereas pine smells always strike me as cold. This is great, really intricate. Absolutely the scent of a dense, creepy, evergreen forest. Emphasis on creepy.

  14. I'm terrible at notes, so... this is dry and warm. It's sweet but not sick. It's a spicy coconut bread, baking in the oven. This is foody, but not in the same way as the other foody smells; it's dark and sexy. MB: Closet has that vanilla icing, yellow cake, sweet cookie feel to it. This is like if you took that same sweet cake and turned it BLACK. This is the darkest sugary sweetness I have found yet, and I love it.

I don't think three bottles is going to be enough.

  15. Looks like I'm basically reiterating what everyone else has said: This smells exactly like dandelions. I didn't even know I knew what dandelions smelled like! But this is it. It makes me think of a hot day, late summer. It has kind of a sick sweetness on top of it-- like on a day that has gotten so hot the air itself almost seems as if it's gone sour. My mom says I smell like beer when I wear it-- but I don't smell that.

  16. This is the scent of a haunted palace. It has a dusty background, reminding you that the place is old and abandoned, but an amazing sweetness tops that-- it makes me think of the way people describe ghosts. Sweet scents and cold chills are common in spirit observations, but I love that this scent isn't just that. It truly is the scent of the place itself. It's exactly how I imagine a haunted house to smell. Well done!

  17. I'm terrible at notes, but the overall feel from this scent is soil. Fresh, damp soil. Not from a garden, but from deep in a forest. And it's not dirt on the surface-- it's the dirt that you reach after digging a few feet, where the sun doesn't hit and you'd find old roots and lots of bugs. Really lovely.

  18. To me, it has kind of a dry tartness in the bottle. Sweet and smoky together, very nice.

The drydown turns to a very sickly sweet on me... reminiscent of a drunk person burping up a strawberry margarita. Not quite as gross though, lol. The smoky musk in there makes it all very warm though.

Overall it's a very unique scent, definitely NOT an everyday wear for me, but I certainly may find myself in the mood for it.
