Fire Tiger: Tiger people are sympathetic, kind, emotional, and sensitive. At movies, they can cry their eyes out! Despite their kindness, they can be extremely short-tempered. The rage of Tigers is terrible to behold but it also gives them the adrenaline needed for the sublimest of bravery. The Tiger is also a deep thinker and can make the most astonishing intellectual connections, with great mental agility. On the negative side, they tend to be suspicious and a bit self-centered, OK selfish, and indecisive. Above everything, however, the Tiger stands as a supreme emblem of protection over human life, admirable always. The Fire Tiger is a thrilling person to know, full of enthusiasm for every aspect of life, optimistic to the core. Even cloudy days are seen for what they are, simply vibrant grays on the verge of exploding into sunshine. Fire Tigers are leaders in the best sense of the word, honest and fair with everyone. According to Greek mythology, it was the Ram with the Golden Fleece sent by Hermès to save the two royal children: Phryxus and Hellé, thus allowing them to escape the sacrifice for which them Ino mother-in-law had intended them. The Ram was then sacrificed to Zeus and its fleece preserved and kept by a dragon. Finally, Jason and its argonauts, come on a boat called Argo, ended up conquering it. Aries is one of the least conspicuous of the zodiacal constellations, and has only two stars above third magnitude. The Aries person seeks adventure and has unusually high energy level. Pioneering, Aries will be the first to take a risk. There were no doubt, a lot of Aries day traders when that first became popular for example. Woah I forgot about the warning of how strong this is. I applied this on liberally cos I felt I might need it and gosh now I'm stinkin up the room! But in a good way. This smells really good, I can't really make out the individual notes partly due to all the medication clogging up my system but I think there's musk? And floral, definitely. Very light and sweet. As for the effects, well I can't say much about the good luck yet, but it really cheers people up. Well, me at least. I've been fighting sinking back into depression and falling sick for the past week but the moment I put this on - instant smile on my face. Ahh.. *bliss* Very uplifting scent. Big bottle here I come!

I was slightly afraid of this when I first saw it on the BPAL website, but when this was gifted to me as a frimp I just had to try it. And oh my god am I so glad I did! Hmm, upon first sniff when I opened the package, I was rather surprised. It’s not as strong as I feared it would be. The color’s a dark red-orange. According to the site, it describes it as dominant, passionate and devastating. So far the impression I’m getting? Very fitting. Lol it turned my wrists red. But okay, wow I’m really impressed so far. It smells really nice. Well okay nice wouldn’t be the word to desccribe it, it’s got a very husky undertone. It must be all the musk, makes it all very dark and heated sort of, giving it all a sinister overall feel (that is of course if a scent could be sinister, and trust me this is). The image that pops into my mind is of a brooding, dangerous shadowy figure with red in his eyes glinting in the dark, deceptively calm but all poised to strike any moment soon. Animalistic, some would say. When dry, the red fades away, I’m strangely disappointed lol. Oh but that’s just me. It smells vaguely familiar, like some men’s cologne, but lighter. Still very musky though, like standing in the middle of a dusty desert and breathing in. I think I’m in love. Lol Big bottle here I come!

It's smells really familiar to me, like a certain perfume I used to adore so much a long long time ago. Brings on quite a bit of nostalgia.. and just love!! When wet it's really rather strong, though that could be because I accidentally put on too much in my excitement lol It smells so good though I just can’t take my nose out of my wrist, it just automatically transports me to when I was 7 years old sitting in an oversized fleur-de-lis chair in the middle of a red room and pretending to wipe my face just so that I can get more of the wonderful scent I used to love. *BPALgasms* As it dries, I think I’m starting to distinguish the musk from the rest. And there’s this very cool light note, I think the florals are coming through. And the sandalwood I think is starting to warm gradually on my skin, sweet and musky like the air smells like, filled with pollen on a warm summer’s day. After 4 hours, it’s still there. Excellent. Definitely a keeper.

A lazy, warm deep green scent with a thick aquatic undertone: Spanish moss, evergreen and cypress with watery blue-green notes and an eddy of hothouse flowers and swamp blooms. Wet: When wet, Bayou tends to be slightly strong, almost threatening to overpower and just straddling the line of giving me a headache, but not quite. It also reminds me alot of generic perfumes that I always catch a whiff of that make me immediately turn my head away. Drydown: The scent has lightened considerably, no longer threatening to cause me a headache, and also smelling less generic. It doesn’t smell much different from the bottle than on me, though that could be due to me being distracted by the overpowering smell of it initially. It doesn’t strike me as anything exactly, though it is a very interesting scent. Sniffing it also makes me hungry! lol I have no idea why though because it’s meant to be floral/aquatic I think that’s what’s the description says and nothing suggests it’s even remotely foody. Lol perhaps my stomach gets turned on by flowers and water?? 1 1/2 hours later, I start to notice a note underneath all that floral/green - a pure sweet smell and it’s making my mouth water all of a sudden. (Well since apparently I can’t pick out individual notes and once I decide on one my mind suddenly gets confused and decides it’s something else, the reviews seem to say that the sweet smell is floral while the BPAL site states that there’s an aqauatic undertone. Well, whichever it is it smells positively delicious.) 2 hours later, NOOOOOooooooooooooooo.... I was just enjoying the scent and thinking I might just like it a lot more if that sweet note continues then it disappears. And worse? It suddenly goes all Bathroom Hand Soap on me. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh *despairs* Sad. I guess this just wouldn’t do. Verdict: Has a very interesting effect on me, makes me hungry! Note to never wear this when no food’s available lol. Hmm.. undecided. Will have to try it again when I’m less distracted. Though this scent is really growing on me, once it’s got past the OMG I’M HERE HEAR ME RAWR!!eleventyone!! stage, it smells really quite nice. I’m not so sure I’m crazy over it but there’s this one note that smells positively gorgeous. My mouth fills everytime I sniff it and it just kills me that I am so hopeless at picking out notes. Throw / Staying Power: This has quite the throw and is rather lasting. I accidentally forgot to wash it off and the next day, I can catch a very faint whiff of the scent still. Also, everyone tells me that they could actually smell me everytime I walked into the room lol.

In the Bottle: It’s smells very sweet, almost fruity. Nice. Wet: It reminds me strongly of some other perfume I’ve smelt, I just can’t quite put my finger on it though. Okay, possibly it might be rose, no pomegranate yet. It’s not a bad thing though, so far I’m liking it. Drydown: Roses, roses and roses. So far that’s all I’m getting. It’s a very gentle and cool scent, makes me think of sitting in a garden full of roses after a drizzle so that the earth has cooled and everything is just nice and quiet and still for just one moment. Like I’m in a wonderful world of my own, just for that moment. Lol which is weird though not in a bad way, since everyone’s always saying how this is such a fun fruity scent that makes you get up and be cheerful. So far though my skin seems to have eaten up all the pomgranate I thought I smelt in the bottle and all I wanna do after wearing this is sit down and daydream. Verdict: Persephone to me overall is very floral, well on me at least. It’s a very light and cool scent. I’m still holding out for the fruity-ness, because I would hate if fruit notes don’t work on my skin. It’s nice. I quite like it, though I’m not crazy over it. Will definitely be using up the imp, perhaps I might even get a 5ml but that depends on how this plays out further. Throw / Staying Power: Moderate, not as strong as others I've tried before (say Bayou) but not like it fades away after 2 hours or something.
