Ayuh. That's just about right. ; ) In the bottle: lemon, mint, and anise. It doesn't smell exactly like Absinthe, but does smell like a kitchen in which one is preparing Absinthe. I mean... uh... not that anyone here in the good ol' U S of A would know what that smells like. ;p Wet on the skin: Anise becomes much stronger, and you can get the touch of wormwood now, too. Still herbal and lovely. Drying/dry: The full effect. It's really quite spot on, actually. The anise is a bit stronger than everything else when I wear it (which I'm actually glad about, because everyone else seems to find that lemon is the strongest note; I don't want to smell like wood cleaner! ), and that suits me just fine. All the joy of a visit from the Green Fairy without the hangover! Overall: The scent lasted for quite a while, with the mint dying out first followed by the wormwood and eventually the lemon, too. I had a couple of people mention that it smelled like liquorice, which makes sense, considering the strength of the anise. Great scent. I'm not going to buy a big bottle right away, but I'll definitely make sure to keep an imp around! 8.5/10

In the bottle: A very wet smell. In fact, I was sort of disappointed; to me, this imp smelled almost exactly like rotting vegetation. I have *no* idea why, but I figured I'd give it a shot anyway. Wet on the skin: It was a good thing that I did! Once on the skin, you can smell the roses. Whew! That was a close one. While the perfume itself is still wet, it still *smells* wet, like rose bushes still covered in morning dew Drying/dry: As it dries, the smell becomes softer and softer until it is the perfect rose smell! Such a nice sweet smell. I wish I went to tea parties, or even garden parties, for that matter, because this would make the perfect scent. : ) Until then, I think this'll make a good summer scent. 8/10

In the bottle: sharp. Sharp, herbal, and woodsy. The cypress really shines. To me, there's almost a tinge of ozone? Maybe? Sometimes when I smell this in the bottle, I can catch the tiniest hint of Tempest. Wet on the skin: Very little difference from the bottle, although the florals come out. The piney smell takes a step back, but is still there, lingering. Drying: Such a change! First of all, let me tell you that I love myrrh, so when the myrrh on this comes out, it makes me quite happy! As it dries, all of the edge vanishes. The cypress? Gone. What's left is this very soft, very comforting lily/myrrh scent. It smells safe, like you're being held by someone. Jeeze, Beth. How do you do it? After it dries, it still retains the soft, safe smell. And it lasts for quite a while on me, which is nice! There's nothing better than a lingering myrrh. : D I wore some in my hair one day, and took a nap. Two days later my pillow still smelled like Wings. I don't know what it is about this scent, but I adore it. Bought a big bottle, of course. ; ) 10/10 Woo!

This is gonna be a quick one, unfortunately. : ( In the bottle: Quite lovely, actually. It's sweet, and does bear a resemblance to O and Snake oil, but still is an entity of its own. Wet on the skin: Baby powder. Straight up. Nothing else. It's quite dissappointing. Unfortunately, the scent stayed as such throughout the drying process, and never changed. When my roommate came home, the first thing she said was, "Wow, did you spill some baby powder or something?" Le sigh. It's a shame, because I really like the way this smells in the bottle. Well, a frimp it was, and a frimp it will be. 2/10 on me, but I've heard it's quite lovely on other people! I just need someone to send me their wrist in the mail so I can find out. ;p

This was the first bottle I ever bought (off of ebay, of course!), so it's fitting that it'll be the first review that I do. In the bottle: the "Irish" part of Irish coffee. No real coffee note, but definitely that toffee/caramel/perhaps a hint of amaretto that you get wtih a good stiff cup of Irish brew. Delish. I really want to take a swig. Is it worth it, I wonder? Wet on the skin: *Now* the coffee comes out, and it is strong. The first time I ever used this, I put on *way* too much. The second time, I used a sewing needle for just the smallest dab, and it's still quite strong. Good for late night thesis writing, let me tell you! Lovely, coffee goodness. Drying: As it starts to dry, the overpowering coffee does fade a bit. Definitely a scent of wood here, although I can barely make it out. The dust starts showing up: the whole combination of wood and dust smells like spring cleaning to me. Dry: The coffee's just about gone, now, but what's left of it warms up the dusty smell nicely. This isn't cleaning dust anymore. To me, it smells like a dusty room that's broken up by rays of light. It's warm dust. Have you ever smelled a cat that's been sleeping in the sun? Something like that. It smells like that wonderful old book store with the rare, dusty volumes that you can browse all by yourself on a Sunday afternoon. And there are cats sleeping in the sun. 8.5/10, would probably be 10 if it weren't so strong in the beginning (ah, headaches! )
