well i started with nattiechan's spreadsheet http://www.nattiechan.com/bpal_spreadsheet.shtml and modified it to suit my needs. i have status (have, ordered, wishlist), rating, future plans, sniffed notes.... and it's highly color coded! sooo much fun!

bottle: apple floral wet: smokey/musky apples dry: this bothers my throat, I can't wear it. overall: I didn't like it on the skin nearly as much, and I guess I'm allergic. rating: 2/10

bottle: very earthy, with floral and herbs wet: herbal and earthy, touch of floral. dry: this kindof reminds me of a graveyard… but it's cool! It reminds me of my trips to the aran isles for some reason, wild herbs and flowers, dirt, and just a hint of the ocean behind it all…. Later it turns into much more incense, wish it stayed like it did earlier, but still nice! overall: loving it more early on, still nice though rating: 7/10

bottle: light and fruity wet: light, mango, slight floral dry: same, light fruit and floral! Barely sweet. overall: really nice esp. in summer! rating: 8/10

bottle: aquatic, but not too masc. hint of floral wet: mild aquatic, soft, touch of florals, nice! dry: still very much the same, aquatic, clean, lovely! My throat is starting to irritate me though, I may be allergic! overall: great scent! Throat tickles, need to try it a second time to confirm. rating: 7/10

bottle: interesting incense/floral blend wet: I can smell the ylang-ylang, hint of sandalwood, so I guess the rest is neroli. Smells a little more like a traditional perfume, but it's not musky. dry: floral but not girly, very grown up. overall: Nice, but not really my style. rating: 6/10

bottle: chocolate and orange peel wet: same - not sweet though dry: yummy gourmet but somehow not too foody! Chocolate dies down a little, still smells desserty but not sweet. Really nice! overall: I like it, gourmet foody! rating: 7/10

bottle: spicy, incensey wet: same - with cinnamon, some amber… I guess that's actually nutmeg not cinnamon. dry: hint of orange, spices mellow but are there still. Yum! Gentler version of seraglio overall: actually smells christmassy! But I like it. rating: 8/10

bottle: sweet fruit wet: a little melon, a little mango, peach… very sweet! dry: oh my all the fruits you can think of. Like that bubblegum in willy wonka! Sweet but not sickenly so, fresh. Waiter? I need a tiny paper umbrella for this drink! overall: I do like fruit, but I don't know if I LIKE like something this fruity. I mean I love this, but not sure I'd wear it often. We'll see! rating: 7/10

bottle: green floral wet: not very strong, nice floral, a little musky dry: really nice - understated (hard to smell right now I have 3 others oils on too!!) but I think I really like it! overall: I really like it but need to try it alone soon! rating: 8/10

bottle: lavender & incense wet: ylangylang and lavender, and a touch of incense. dry: sandalwood, stronger incense, with the herbs in the background. Spicier than I imagined but still nice, and relaxing! Later, much more incensy than I prefer for a bedtime scent - still nice though! overall: nice, but very incensy towards the end. Not what I want for bedtime. rating: 8/10

bottle: oh yes peony, this is what I hoped it smelled like!! wet: lovely lovely peony. What does this remind me of? Why is it so nostalgic? Why did I only get an imp? dry: now there's some more depth to it… but still glorious peony! Oh it reminds me a little of lily of the valley (maybe the pink variety that grows at my grandmother's?) overall: nosegasm. Seriously. Must have more. Right now. rating: 10/10

oh my. how do i describe the amazing experience of the meet and sniff? meet. hug. hug dog. sniff. eat. sniff. hug dog. eat dessert. sniff. buy. sniff. buy. sniff. sigh. rest a little. sniff. eat. hug dog. leave. my nose is still recovering. some scent, possibly one i took, may bother me. i am not too sure which one. i am taking it slow with testing. after sampling eviltemptress's scents friday night, sniffing all day saturday, then sniffing what each other bought saturday night... and enabling my friends on sunday. my nose is overwhelmed! but my boxes are much more full now! my wishlist is longer (and better refined...) i still have to update some reviews on bpal that didn't get posted yet, and continue to test all this new stuff! the meet and sniff was a lot of fun, and i look forward to doing it again. i loved sampling so many scents, because it's so hard to judge based on descriptions and reviews alone! and i met some really cool people. and a really cool dog. and a really cool kid. that cat was cool too, even though i barely saw her. oh and did i mention beard papa???? that was ALMOST better than the sniffies. photos coming soon.

bottle: slightly minty, herbal, lemon... very clean. wet: very light scent. Lemony - wait I guess it's lime, and a little minty still. Very fresh dry: a really clean light scent, great for summer! overall: love it! get a bottle! rating: 9/10

bottle: woody and incense and vanilla wet: some almond, woody and incense…. Touch of sweetness dry: hmmm this almost smells like I hoped Underpants would! So far I love it - it's right up there with samhain for a halloween/camping scent! overall:another winner! rating: 8/10

I have used white light once so far - i was having a bit of a panic attack, and not doing well. i used it as the description instructed and it helped me to calm down. in my opinion, this is a great oil for "emergency" situations, and the only ritual you need is intent.

thank you for sharing this - i'm sure it was difficult. are you still there or are you home now? we tend to live with our heads in the sand, i appreciate having the story told in the first person and not seeing it on the news, makes it feel more real. not to mention no "spin". i look forward to reading more...

bottle: sweet incense, orangey wet: same, with almond dry: reminds me of an orange & clove pomander! With a warm incense/sandalwood/touch of almond, oh my. This is delicious! Eventually the orange and clove recede, and it's spices and a mild rose… well it disappeared really fast… wow. overall: for half an hour I was drooling… and about to give it a 10. with the rose & disapperaing act? It's not bad, but I'll have to try it again. rating: 7/10

bottle: sugar and vanilla wet: same, foodier than I hoped it would be… dry: sweet vanilla and sandalwood, getting slightly less sweet… I don't smell rum, but it is buttery… overall: undecided! Nice, but can be too sweet at times. rating: 6/10 *eta: i may keep an imp for myself, but the rest of the bottle is promised, with several people getting first sniff this weekend, and one definite buyer if there is any leftover. sorry!*
