Ryokumuji

This was a freebie from the lab... It smells VERY earthy. I don't really like it but I tried putting it on my skin anyway to see if it will morph some.... But it doesn't. It's totally not my taste, as I lean more towards sweet, fruity, floral type scents. ADDED Dec. 6: Got this as a frimp from the lab. It smells like dirt to me and that's about it. I figured maybe a friend of mine would like it since she's a fan of patchouli but she didn't like that "dirt" smell either. Hmmm.

It's very peachy! I actually have no idea what the other scents in this are supposed to smell like (besides the white musk) but the peach and the musk stand out. It's a sweet scent, but I don't find it sugary sweet. On my skin, the musk comes out more but it doesn't overpower the peach. I'm debating on whether or not to get a bottle of this.

Wow, bring on the vanilla! I don't smell the flowers or linens in the description. It's a creamy kind of vanilla with maybe a drop of honey but it doesn't smell "foody", if you know what I mean. It's nice, but it's not something I'd wear that often. I'm not a huge fan of vanilla scents, just the ice cream but I figured I'd give this a spin anyway.

Scherezade and Dragon's Heart made me think "hippie" out of the few scents I've tried so far.

My question: Next week, (May 30th to be exact) I'll be on a "vacation" of sorts to visit a friend of mine. I actually made an order on May 4th but I'm not sure if I'll be here to recieve it or not. I know the current wait time at the moment is around a month to recieve your order but I don't know if I'll even be here to get my order now. The status on CCNOW says "Order Shipped May 13th", does anyone know when my order would show up, because I'll probably be gone for two to three weeks starting May 30th. :/ I don't think I trust my family to take care of my order while I'm gone but I wouldn't want to change the shipping addy to my friends house because he mailcarrier is a dickhead notorious for breaking things she's ordered before. I'm kinda at a loss of what to do now but an approximation of when it would arrive would be great so I can tell my family to keep a look out for it.

I really, really love this one. It was the very first imp I tried out of my very first BPAL order, if I'm not mistaken. It just smells so wonderful. It's sweet, wonderful rose. The colors I associate with this scent would be deep red and white. It lasts a pretty long time on my skin too. My mother seemed to like this one a lot herself so maybe a big bottle is in store for us someday.

Sadly, Nocturne and I don't seem to get along. I loooove lilacs so much. When I was young, there was a lilac bush in front of the apartment building I used to live in, and my grandmother would always cut off a few and place them in a vase in our apartment. It smelled pleasant in the imp but when I put this on my skin it went... bleeeeeeeeeeh. I can't even really describe the smell, I can smell a little of the lilac, but it reminds of candy. Those little tablet powdery type candies that I used to get on Halloween all the time that I hated. Maybe it's the violet?

I've totally fallen in love with Queen Mab. I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I do. I took a couple of whiffs from the bottle, and I didn't really think this scent was "me", at first. It seemed a little too incensey to me. I seem to have that problem with scents that contain musks. But putting it on my skin, it smells so wonderful. Lovely floral, even a little bit creamy, but it has a hint of darkness too. I didn't expect to love it so much! I think it's my favorite from my order, for sure. I can't help putting my wrist to my nose and taking a nice sniff every now and then! I definitely need to pick up a 5ml bottle... Maybe even make it a 10ml bottle!
