Wow. This is the most transient scent I've ever tried of BPAL's. In the imp, it was an overpowering honeydew/peach scent only not supercandy sweet. But all I smelled was fruit, no florals. As soon as I put it on, same thing. After 10 minutes, wow... the honeydew/peachy smell died down to a more berry-type scent, but very subtle. I can't smell any amber in it, but i do smell really light florals with just a hint of fruit. Because of the immediate overwhelming of the peach scent out of the bottle, you might be tempted to apply just a little. Don't give into the urge, it's actually really light and sort of wears down quickly.

I work in a flowershop and I can't stand stephanotis! It smells like the solution the rats we had to dissect in Bilogy came in. Ickypooh. I keep waiting for the medicinal portion to die down, but it's been 30 minutes and I give up.

In the imp, it had a nutty liquor smell to it. After 20 minutes, I smell like peanut butter.

It smells like Obatala if you were to add rum and tobacco. Nice, dark and unobtrusive. And I looooove Obatala.

When it first goes on, you think of spicy Peach Schnappes. Thenn... it gets more herbally, i'm smelling the frankencinse. And looots of smooth fruit... mainly peach (although it doesn't say peach, that's what it ends up as on me). This is the fruitiest scent i've ever liked.

this is the first imp i really fell in love with. it really reminds me a lot of snake charmer. smells musky-amber on the bottom, you can baaaarely smell the patchouli, which is a good thing. Maybe the ylang-ylang (reeeally light floral) is taking the edge off of the patchouli. I'm getting a bottle of this.

smells like soy sauce. ew ew ew. it does die down a bit, but still.

Wow! This was a Frimp from an LJ purchase. I'd never dream of getting anything with orchid in it because they're usually too light and fluffy. but there's some reeeally subtle action going on here. something smooth and velvety. I can't directly smell the currant, but i think that's what's helping round out the orchid from beign too flowery for me. i really like this.

Wow! there's an amber with a real nutty-like quality behind it. at first i even got a sort of citrus-y scent but that left in 20 minutes. Very resin-y without being too sleepy-thick. No note stays too high. I want a bottle of this.

Honestly, this smells like straight up clove oil poured on top of amber. didn't realise such a musky scent could be so... loud.

Just wondering what ya'll use (if anything) before you work out? I'm working out about 13 hours a week now trying to rid all the bad body karma I've built up this last year (23 lbs! ahhhh!) I've noticed that i like a little something on me wafting by. Not that I don't mind the natural workout funk, but I've noticed like if I put a dab of Kumiho under my upper lip it really gets me all perky and I don't mind doing the elliptical after that. We've got roller derby practice for 2-3 hours twice a week and afterwards we usually go directly out to drink away all calories burned. I've found that after that long speedskating, that "Medea" actually changes so radically as opposed to just 4 hours of standing around. So rather than smelling like a henhouse, I smell like a yummy bordello. My yoga instructor sprays the room with lavendar before she does her thang, and I don't know why, but lavendar doesn't relax me at all, just makes me feel like i'm at a Rotary Club meeting with some grannies. Oh and if i put on even a dab of oil or anything after swimming, 20 minutes later nothing is there. Tried it like three times. Does chlorine residue neutralize everything? So what do you use and when? Recommendations?

I used it on myself only. It's actually quite a calming scent I'd totally use in a bath. And probably the only masculine scent that didn't end up smelling soapy on me. I really wish I knew what "vertiver" was.

I think I'm a boy. This smells reeeally good on me. A liiiitle soapy, but definitely old leather and musk. Tried this on my male counterpart and the soapiness has gone away. He smells like a naughty professor. This may be the perfect man smell. It's just funny because when the lab sends Frimps, I put them on before reading the description so I was sort of taken aback.

Wow! All the scents in the description actually came out and stayed on me. It has a musky sort of base that blends it all together. Very honey-creme. Really love this one. Definitely something you would want to use near your netherparts on a particularly good night in bed.

I'd like to rename this White Linen Deodorent - Powder Fresh Scent. Smells sort of like White Linen but with a bit of a soapy undertone. Very strong scent, didn't fade away for about 6 hours on me. My skin reeealy likes to accentuate soapy scents so that's about all that stayed on me. There's a sort of metalic edge/kick to the end of the scent. Definately deodorant. Not my bag.

this is SO much like Demeter Fragrance's Green Tea! Very light and happy. Sort of like a very light green scent. You can still get a hint of the peony at the end, though. Not too perfumie at ALL! Would be great for work or really summery times. Has a sort of metal tinge to it.

Very syrupie at first. Like a less sugary, more smooth and amberie sugar skull. But able to be worn not just eaten. Then it goes down and you're left with it mixed with sort of a nutty, old sexy sort of smell. I reeeally like this one.

Ew. Old lady perfume. Actually, very much like Opium. I wish I knew what "civet" was. ADDED May 17: something in this really almost *tinges* like metal. Other than taht, it's like you put earthen dirt and all your mom's perfume together. It's not very... centered. I don't know how to phrase it.

Some girl almost licked my face off over this scent the other night, be warned! Total aphrodesiac! Very heavey, , stays strong and low. Don't see why it doesn't say patchouli in it, because i smell it. but not in a hippie way. it's very groundedand there's some other really smooth almost-=liquor-like thing behind it.

Love! Reminds me of VS's Plumeria lotion, but not that obnoxiously sweet. I think the musk grounds it from doing that too much. It smells very cherry on me (even though it doesn't seem to have any in it) which is nice. An altogether berry blend, but in a darker way.

Smells greenish in the vial, but all that's left on my skin is a very clean almost masculine soapy type scecnt. very strong, too.

Weird favorite. I have no idea why I like this. It's fruity but not too sweet but still kinda strange. Most fruits don't stay on me too long. Damn i don't understand it. I want it, though. I want a lot of it. I think it's the amber. My skin loves amber.

Like the floor of a forest. A good kind of woodsy with almost a sort of earthy pine. Freaking me out, though because Belladonna is one of my fave porn stars but she wears this nasty Bijou-like stuff. *g* In all seriousness, though... I can't pull off that woodsy of a scent.

It's been 30 minutes and all I smell is Tree Bark, slight mothballish, kinda frankencencie. All wood spice, no perfume or oil smell. I figured something out about my chemistry, though... deeper fruits like currant and cherry, lose their fruity sweetness on me within about 5 minutes, then they turn sort of liquor-like and eventually bottom out. I smell like a box of poppuri locked in a closet full of mothballs.

At first it was perfumie on me. Then it settled, and all I can smell is mothballs! I've tried this a few different times now, as I got a 5ml, and just can't make it work. I still haven't figured out how on some people it cansmell floral and fruity, but on me, like a medicine cabinet. *g*
