peppery citrus... but sweet at first! I smell the tea (i LOVE tea scents!). I do really like this one, but it isn't something I would buy a full bottle of... it is very light once dried. still, it is yummy!

uh oh... is it possible for me to have yet another imp come to me containing "my new FAVORITE!" I smell a citrus-y tea, maybe? grapefruit... sweet. Strong. with flowers. This is absolutely GORGEOUS!! *must get more*

As random as it may be, "Moulin Rouge" is the only movie that has ever effected me in an emotionally romantic way... I love it so much!!! SO lovely

i love this scent... at first, in the bottle, i smell that "linen" smell it boasts in the description. Very much like a laundry detergent (my favorite!). on me, it is the linen, with some floral in there... after a while, though, the musk completely takes over... which is disappointing. it isn't BAD, per se, I just love the first part so much more! LOL.

:the curse of the jasmine: suspiro had the potential of being a lovely scent, and it actually IS lovely... but it is really completely JASMINE on me. Jasmine is my friend and enemy. I like it. But I must have 20 BPAls that only smell like jasmine on me now. Jasmine is just in love with my skin! *ah well*

on me, this is a spicy grape cough medicine scent Must be the cranberry? It is a very "dark" scent, and smells sour. the scent DOES last long, which is good for people that like it... for me, though, that is a curse. hehe.

libertine is a little weird on me... i smell flowers, but there is something sour in it. After a short while, this goes completely to Chamomile (which I'm not a fan of). after about an hour, this smells still of chamomile,but with the violet as well... ah well, off to the swap pile!

for me... this is pure incense. No apple at all... it is a little spicy, and not too strong... unfortunately, i am not an incense-y girl... so it goes off to the Enabler's pile for testing!

Ok, i got this one in a swap off of my wishlist... at first this is a bit weird... mint, but with a floral in the background? I almost put this in the swap pile, but just sniffed it again (after it having been on my arm for about an hour), and I LOVE what it is now! sort of like what a minty tea would smell like? the floral and mint finally melded together perfectly

Ok, well I ordered Hungry Ghost Moon... and added in Chaos Theory 3 (even though I have til August). It seemed a shame to just order one bottle (because of shipping costs). I'll order the OTHER new one sometime between now and August They all are so yummy sounding!! I'm really obsessed with the idea of CT3, too... can't wait to see what they pick for me! *hope i like it*

I was a little reluctant to test this one, because I tend not to like the darker colored oils... but, of course, I give everything a fair shot! After a sniff that wasn't bad, I put it on my wrist... surprise surprise! I LOVE this! spicey, but has a sweet flower-y scent in the background that mellows that spice out. They are very spot-on describing this as a "sensual". it makes me feel sort of sexy! I guess I'll have to have the boyfriend sniff me and see what he thinks... hehe...

on me, this is a spicy pine... very incense-y. More of a candle or ritual scent, than a perfume scent. I'm not a big fan of the scent, but I may just try it in my oil burner later on, and see what I think then...

i'm not sure what hemlock smells like, but to me this smells like pine trees... very herbal, but kind of more towards those tree car air fresheners to me... and, well, after the movie Seven... even if I liked that smell, I am too associative and wouldn't be able to like it now. hehe. *off to the swap pile*

i'm a big fan of any of the "sea" scents that I have tested so far (Empyreal Mist, Sea of Glass, and City in the Sea)... and this is no exception! A very airy water scent... like a crisp wet breeze... but has a hint of flowers behind it. A little bit sweeter than the other scents I listed above... GORGEOUS!!

me, the Queen of not liking anything that says "rum" on it, actually likes this one! I get almond... like Dana O'Shee almond, but more sweet. There is a tang... after it was on a while, the almond completely disappears... and I smell just a spicey clove... smells like those clove cigarettes that were so "cool" in highschool. hehe. Delicious!!

very much RUM. with a sweetness. really like a vanilla cigar, too... unfortunately, neither of those scents appeal to me... this is similar to Underpants, really, in how it smells on me. rum. rum. and more rum. *ick* Ah well, off to the Enabler for testing!

my. new. favorite. Seriously, my 2 favorites thus far (aside from my heady Peacock Queen) have been Dirty and Embalming Fluid... Dormouse seems to mix the 2 together PERFECTLY! A brisk tea scent, with a sweetness... i can't stop sniffing my wrist!! *thinks she'll be ordering a bottle with the update tomorrow*

being an uber-Virgo, I of course had to obsess over finding this scent... and I was lucky enough to get one via swaps! The smell is very incense-y, which isn't normal "my thing"... but there is something delicious about this particular incense smell... spicy, but with enough of something sweet to keep it "tame", and not burn my nostrils... Oh, and it smells JUST like shopping in this store on South Street (in Philly), Garland of Letters. JUST like it. yum!

Ok, so I'm not really a "ritual" girl... but I was totally intrigued by the TAL oils in general, and really wanted to try this one out. After almost 7 years, life does get a bit... robotic. I put this in my oil burner (in melted wax, so I could re-use it)... the smell is strong. People are saying patchouli, and I thought incense... so that is probably right. It wasn't a bad smell, but not one typical for me... but that isn't the point of it, right? the boyfriend came home from work, and we actually had a nice pleasant evening... he seemed happier and touchy-feelier/love-ier than usual. Was it the oil? Not sure... but it could've been! So, thus, I say this worked! I figure if i believe it worked, it will work... and maybe we'll do something extra fun and romantic this weekend because, if anything, it made me feel happier about our life in general. the power of the mind... hehe.

everyone loves the panties. everyone WANTS the panties. I had no interest in the panties from the description, but had no choice but to be a little excited when the Enabler had a bottle that didn't work for her up for MY grabs first! I read the reviews and saw "lemon butter cookie" for some, and got a little more excited. Verdict? While I WANTED to like it (peer pressure, damn it!), it did NOT like me or my nose. I could smell that cookie... but there was too much more with it. the rum smell was so sour, and hurting my sensitive nose. Making me grimace. but i kept sniffing. sniff... sniff... sniffffffff... nope, panties do NOT like me. Enabler passes on to the next person instead...

A crisp, pale, almost translucent rose dusted by moonflower and midnight dew. in my search for "the perfect rose" (which i have since found in Peacock Queen!), Moon Rose made it to my wishlist... and I was lucky enough to get this sent to me as a frimp! weee! Weirdly enough, though... I smell literally NO rose in this on my skin. None. It smells like a powdery grandmother's bathroom on me. In reading through other people's reviews, I do have to agree that this would probably be the rose scent for non-rose lovers. LOL. No rose here for me!

i love me the smell of roses... a LOT. but after the disappointment of Rose Red (i TRIED to love it! too "green" for me), and the LOVE LOVE LOVE obsession I now have with Peacock Queen... I was curious to try me a new BPAL rose scent... Luckily, this was sent to me as a frimp! hooray! At first, it WAS Rose Red. I smelled the green that I didn't care for mixed in with the rose... but that was gone in 2 seconds flat after being on my skin. It then turned to a rose... a TRUE rose, but NOT Peacock Queen HEAVY rose. It was lighter. like PQ subdued? Which is perfect, because I love love LOVE (did I mention I loved?) PQ, but it is very strong, and maybe not for every day wear (even though I've been doing it). This is a lighter alternative, and I'm so happy to have it!!

i received this as a frimp, and who knew? it turns out to be one of the best BPAL i've smelled! very berry... but not as sweet as some berries. not too strong of a scent, either. Has a bit of a "tang"? This berry lasted quite a while on me, too... This scent loves me, and I love it back!

Ok, so the Enabler (see above!) sent me a decant of this... and I'm totally in love! *must get my own bottle* The scent is sweet... berry? fruity? with, yes, that hint of something minty. Must be the "winter" in the "winter flowers" This is definitely a holiday scent, but i'm inclined to keep wearing it right now in June... Sort of keeps me cool. hehe. berry berry berry yummy
