i do consider myself a "non-foodie". But candy corn are my favorite... and, even after not particularly liking this when just sniffed at a M&S, I still felt drawn to it... like it was wrong for me not to give it a fair shot. LOL. So, well, I got an imp... and it is growing on me? VERY sweet... butter-y. Butter-y in the Underpants way, the way that makes me not like it... but, luckily, that tones down...and it is really just a sugared candy, with something heavy holding it down. Like caramel (no, it doesn't SMELL like caramel, but it is like caramel in that it is sweet... but still has something heavy in the scent... separating it from pure sweetness)? Am I even making sense here This scent lasts a LONG time, too! I will definitely wear it a few times, to be sure it isn't the best scent ever. I am expecting it to be that, damn it!

cookies!!! this scent is pure yummy gingerbread cookies... with a little icing? actually reminds me of a bread my family makes every Christmas (Poorman's Bread). Spicy and thick... i'd say "butter-y", but not in the same way as something like Underpants (which i thought was icky). Anyway, I hope nobody minds that I'll be walking around all December smelling like a bakery! DELICIOUS!!

*note* I got this as a frimp from a girl that was in an untrustworthy decant circle... thus, she said it "smells like the bottle I have, but the person was not trustworthy, so I am not sure if it was diluted at all". That being said, I will still review it, as it seems just like the bottle I sniffed at a M&S... On my arm, this scent is very... herbal? pine-y, even. I assume this is the wormwood. It is turning a little weird on me, though... going a bit sour. Could be the honey absolute, as honey does not like me that much I smell the spices, too... j Not sure if I entirely love this scent, but it is intriguing enough to give a second try soon!

Freak Show has me intrigued beyond my normal capacity... sweet? fruity? CHOCOLATE? It is sort of like I'm not sure if I like it, or hate it... but I love it... but it is weird... but. but. but... CAN'T STOP SNIFFING! It keeps changing, and that excites me to try it more! I probably won't want a bottle of this (or do I? LOL), but this imp isn't going ANYWHERE! I'm obsessed! Oh, and it also reminds me of Dia De Los Muertos , as others have mentioned... not the same smell, but the same sort of conflicting scents.

I was lucky enough to get an imp of this from someone that refers to the scent as "My Precious" (see Reedsong's review above. hehe). And it is, indeed, a lovely scent! I'm a big fan of Sea of Glass & Empyreal Mist, and this is definitely in the same world as those two. Very aquatic and crisp... not too "sharp", as some aquatic scents can be... To me, as well, this could be very gender neutral! I *will* find a scent that i can make my boyfriend wear, I swear! Maybe this one? LOVE THIS!

I could be crazy, but to me this smells like Bazooka bubblegum or those really cheap round pink mints you get in the candy isle? BUT, I LOVE it!! I assume that that scent is the spice, mixed with the carnations... but I'm really not positive. I want to eat this one, which is never good... but Frumious will stay in my "super yummy BPAL" pile forever!

mmmmm.... seriously. This scent is SO delicious! It is a strong pink scent (if Peony's weren't pink, I would have no idea why that color just represents this bright smell!). Full bloom and gorgeous... I did not know what a Peony smelled like, but will now have to go out and find me some! Oh, and the scent LASTS and lasts on my wrist! HOORAY!

it seems I've been searching forever for a perfume that duplicates what it actually smells like when you have someone give you roses... and this scent is IT. First, I'm in love with the art on this bottle... I can't stop admiring it! Then, well, the scent? It really is the TRUE rose scent I was after. Strong and... thick? Nobody gives me roses... and, well, technically I'm more into non-traditional flowers... but the SMELL. I love it SO much. This is quite possibly my all time favorite BPAL to date!!

I am becoming a bigger and bigger fan of swapping!! Today I got the following from Reedsong: libertine utrennyaya brisingamen Swapping rocks!!! It gives me the chance to try things on my wishlist without spending a ton of money, and it also allows me to test out a few I may not have tried on my own... woohoo!!

My new favorite BPAL came in the mail today: Peacock Queen!! I got a 5ml (really, on a whim... which ROCKS) and a frimp of Lampades from zenvodunista I'm so in love with this scent, I can't even tell you... best ever!!

ok, i tested the 2004 version of this... the first time i tried a bit, it was a very sweet light floral! I loved it!! This 2nd time, the tobacco is standing out very strong... almost peppery? I still like it, though, but I want that floral smell back! I have to try this a third time soon!!

yummy! this smells like a nice cup of tea... Very similar to Embalming Fluid, but the ginger gives it a little something different. I still prefer EF, though... very light, and very lovely!

hmm... not sure on this one. I like the scent, but there isn't MUCH of one, if that makes any sense? it is so light... i feel like i'm straining my nose to pick up the full scent. i'll say i'm undecided on this one... I'm going to have to try it again, when i don't have 5 other scents all over my arms! hehe...

at first, i smelled a lovely lemony floral! Then it got a bit musky... Unfortunately, about 20 mins later, my arm is a big pile of musk, with no yummy lemon left. off to the swap pile for this!

umm... hmmm... Not sure WHAT it is that is weird in this blend, but it is NOT smelling great on me. I smelled floral in the bottle! but it got all "twisted", just like the description says, on my arm. Ew... not a fan of this one

the first time I tested this was from my Enabler (it was *oh the horror* in the swap pile!). I loved it! I took it home, happy as can be... so, well, I just tried it again so I could write my review... and, WOW. Umm... not sure the difference in body chemistry today, but I have a Dollar Store Pine Tree Car Air Freshener on my arm, and it is burning my nose. LMAO. I guess this moves to MY swap pile now... boohoo...

i smell lemon Pledge, and it is one of my favorite smells! hehe... i smell the honeysuckle a bit, but mostly just sweet sweet Pledge. *snifffffffffff*

i smell a sweet candied fruit... i like it, but i'm not sure I'd wear it again... It must be the grapefruit

it is weird to read that there is cherry in this, as I totally got NO cherry in mine! WEIRD. for me, this was a soft floral... but it went a bit sour (i assume that is the lilies). This scent did not like me, unfortunately... ah well.

a sweet floral! Very nice... after being on for a while, I swear I smelled a hint of lemon... then it became almost completely rose. A nice soft rose! Loved this one
