Thought I'd not be able to find a bottle of Ligeia, so I just went to BPAL and ordered a full bottle. Talk about good timing! It is, this morning, no longer available. I also got a bottle of La Belle Au Bois Dormant (my boyfriend digs that one). I will get Endymion, Embalming Fluid, and Amsterdam sometime, too!

I still have to do the reviews for the other ones I got on Friday (AND the 3 I remember that I tested from HennaFairy over the weekend). I'm such a slacker! *EDIT: I am seriously IN LOVE with these scents. All four. Must own 3. WTF can I do now? Must buy bottle of Ligeia TONIGHT before it is no longer available. Geez. Want Endymion and Amsterdam bottles, too! YIKES!! Gotta update my wishlist, I suppose! maybe someone will swap bottles of those two for bottle I get from my Ebay purchase

I got a small packet of imps yesterday from pink.owl! I was a busy bee last night, but managed to sniff and test these a little... I'll do a little bit more of that this weekend, and post my reviews soon Here is what I got: belladonna delirium juliet la belle au bois dormant lolita undertow embalming fluid My boyfriend LOVED la belle on me. hehe. It was my 2nd favorite to Embalming Fluid (special thanks to her for throwing in that one, even though it wasnt on her list originally!). EF smells similar to Calliope, but minus that heavy lavendar. Which means it is PERFECT! hehe. I think it was BellaDonna that smelled like medicine. LOL. I liked Juliet a lot, too... but it got pretty musky as it wore off on my wrist... maybe I'll try burning that one with a candle. All I know is that my boyfriend will now pay for me to get a bottle of la belle. LOL. And I will try to find one of EF d

Myrrh, dark musk, attar of rose and ylang ylang. Ok, hmm... when I opened this bottle, I was hit with a smell I didn't like at ALL. But, I had a similar experience with Black Cat, so I wanted to give it a chance anyway. I made my boyfriend sniff it, and he didn't like it either (he liked Black Cat). Anyway, I put it on my wrists this morning anyway. It is definitely too musky for me! I got in my car to go to work, and had to open the window. LOL. SIx hours later, the smell is still pretty strong if I have my wrist go by my nose at all... but it isn't overpowering. Still not for me, though I will give this a shot in a candle tonight (like I did with Black Cat, which I ended up loving as such). We'll see how that turns out! so far? I give this one a 2 out of 5 (not a "1" only because it wasn't bad enough to me for me not to give it a chance. if that makes sense!) d

let me first point out that I just don't seem to be a "musk" girl... I opened the pack Hennafairy sent me, and this was the smell that hit me in the face. LOL. I wasn't very fond of it, but wanted to give it a fair shot, right? Sniffing it, I was immediately just overwhelmed with the spicy smell i don't care much for. But, I passed it to my boyfriend to smell, and he LIKED it. Not feeling brave enough to put it on my wrists to try out, I decided to light a tea light and pour a small amount into the melted wax... OMG. I loved it like that! Very incense-y? Reminded me of the shops in Philly on South Street that sell incense anyway. This burned and smelled strong all night long... probably 4 hours til I blew it out? So, anyway, for you people that aren't sure if you like musky/spicy smells? Try it as a candle! Because of the cool candle version of it, I'll give this one a 3 out of 5

My three favorite things, almost... green tea, lemon, and honeysuckle. Out of the container, this smells LOVELY. I want to rub it all over me!! On my wrist? hmmm... smells great at first. Then sort of shifts to something a little old ladyish? HennaFairy had said this in the beginning when she first let me smell it. after an hour: Subtle... I'm back to liking it. I'll have to wait for my own full imp to come in the mail before I make a total decision on this. I should LOVE this! We'll see... I give it a 3 out of 5 for now

Thanks to HennaFairy for passing this along to me to try! Ok, first wiff... I smell MINT. I am a mint lover, so got excited... Then lemony (must be the orange, since there is no lemon in this. LOL). YAY. Wet on my wrist... slightly off. Not sure exactly what it is yet... i still smell "spicy lemon". Again, no lemon in it so my smell must be a bit off today. After an hour... I LIKE it, but don't love it. There is something in there... maybe the lavendar, that I don't like. I also tried dripping some in the candle i was burning, but sort of just made a mess of the label. LOL. I give it a 3 out of 5!

Thanks to a lovely friend of mine, I have been recently introduced to this forum (and the BPA in general). I just placed an order for 12 different imps over the weekend, and don't know if I'll make it through the month waiting for my package to arrive! hehe. awww... boohoo. I have a friend that would be perfect for such a gift... maybe PayPal or Ebay gift certificates would work? Just a suggestion to people not sure what to do, but want to give someone special BPAL fun! I'm not even sure PayPal has GCs... i'll have to double check on that... I know Ebay does, though! d *EDIT* Ok, I looked... and I guess PayPal doesn't do official gift certificates either (they should!). But, I plan on just sending my friend money via PayPal with a makeshift (aka: i'll make something in Photoshop) one from me to her, with instructions as to how to pick what she wants and use that money I sent her in her PayPal account! I like to make things difficult. hehe
