Hmm, I don't usually like leather but I do adore tonka & sandalwood... and its got Snake Oil so I have to try it.... hehe. Straight sniff from the bottle I get pure leather (like Quincey Morris). On my skin I get leather leather leather for about 15 minutes. It calms down a bit and I can detect the sandalwood and sage keeping the leather in check. It fades completely in about an hour and all I get is just a very faint whiff of Snake Oil Maybe it'll smell awesome on my bf.

At first sniff, I didn't think I'd like this much. It was straight up fresh sliced and diced ginger. On my skin it was quite spicy but pungent ginger and thankfully it calmed down about 5 minutes later and settled into a nicely blended ginger, cassia + cinnamon. About half an hour later the SO finally blooms and I'm love loving it

For the first two minutes, this is a blood orange magnolia flower... then poof! all gone and I'm left with white musk. Argh... if only the white musk didn't dominate

I love Ugh! It is aromatherapy at its best! This smells soooo soothing and something minty and lemony come to mind. It is also very potent. I love that the scent lingers for a good while because I seem to associate these medicine type smells with feeling comfortable and relaxed. This is herbal minty lemon goodness!

Oof, this is a "comfort" smell to me. I don't know why but it really relaxes me, it reminds me of a calming menthol/eucaplyptus cloud. I also detect a hint of an herbally citrus but it is faint and in the background. I like it uhhh-lot!

When wet, I smell mostly floral almond and spices but I get this weird note in the background that reminds me of scented Lysol which comes and goes. While drying, the cinnamon comes out to play with patchouli and bergamot. I really want to like this but that floral Lysol is very offputting.

Regan, . It is the most gorgeous powdery vanilla and floral scent on my skin. I don't usually like it when notes go powdery on me but in Regan, it is the best powder smell I've ever smelled. It's very comforting, like vanilla pillows. I will probably get a 5ml of this sometime very soon.

At first sniff, a very potent jasmine and magolia (which I LOVE). On my skin, ohmahgaaad! While wet, heady florals and muted patchouli but very well blended. When dry, I love it even more. It gets smokier and earthy, which might be the kush and opium? I love it in every stage and think that it is a darkly seductive scent. Very nice!

The packaging is so cutesy, I love it. I sniffed it before the shower and really couldn't smell any scent =( but while showering, I could finally sense the cocoa in the lather (which was sooo silky). I do think the soap is creamy, moisturizing, and very nicely cocoa-ish & buttery. While I thought it was a fantastic soap... I wish it were a tad bit more fragrant. Just a little bit though because I love to smell my soaps before I jump in the shower and I like it to linger a bit after (not so much that it interferes with my perfume), that's just me though.

2,5, & 7- Finally, a rose scent that doesn't go grandma or twisted. It's blooming, green, and stays sweet. And I'm glad it doesn't go dry and dusty on me during the drydown. I love this truly rosy blend.

Black Lily is a dark, velvety, lily scent. I don't normally like lily as the dominant note in a blend but whatever tempers it, makes this a truly wearable blend for me. Overall, the throw is average and the floral is smoooooth. Definitely a keeper!

Dr. John Seward- Hah, in the bottle I smell oatmeal cookies! What?? On me, holy moly wasn't ready for it. It's so beautiful! I think this is my favorite so far of the OotD lot. While its wet I get hints of smokiness with floral, must be the champaca. The drydown is even better. The tonka and sandalwood are what I smell most during the drydown, mixed with a bit of gingeriness. Its soft and stays close to my skin, which I like. Definitely a keeper.

Alecto- In the imp, I smelly somethin woodsy, fruity & herbal. On me.. hmmm, olive leaf check... raspberry leaf check... cedarwood check... vetiver CHECK. I'm not a fan of vetiver and that note is killin it for me in this blend. Thankfully during the dry down it becomes very light, but while its wet... I think it smells like stinky BO. It's much more tolerable when its dry, I think I might even like it alot. Ugh, its just that vetiver durin the wet phase.

Punkie Night- To this day, that night of foolishness is still celebrated! This is a light-hearted scent: apple orchards, bright cranberries, and a touch of warm cider. In the bottle I get fresh red & green apples. On me, this is frikken gorgeous. I smell mostly apples, a bit of cider spice & a hint of cranberry. This does remind me of HM06, however it is less dark. It's very crisp but soft at the same time. This is a fall scent I'll be reaching for often. I might even need to get another bottle!

Strangler Fig- In the vial I get a herbal & grassy smell. After awhile the fig shows up along with some sugary sweetness. It doesn't seem to last very long but has a good amount of throw. During the drydown, the grass smell dissipates but I still get a creamy mossy fig. I like it just fine, its nice and fresh... keepin the imp!

Wanton- In the imp, it's mehhhh... But on me it smells a-ok. I get a soft sandalwood and palmarosa. It's light and seems to stay close to the skin, and I kinda like that about it. Definitely keeping the imp.
-
Yemaya- In the imp....... A melon scent consumes me! On me I get watermelon & honeydew. It's very juicy & sweet at first but mellows out into a creamy fruity incensey scent on my skin. I'll be coming back for this when spring comes around!

Creepy- This season’s Ridiculous Scent! As creepy as Spooky was spooky, this is the scent of butterscotch-kissed, caramel-smothered red apples spiked with a blast of coconut rum. When I first opened the bottle it smelled a lot like Red Lantern. On me its much softer... the smell is just like the taste of those butterscotch candies. I smell apple but only slightly. I love that this isn't a heavy scent. Loves it!

Ultraviolet: Oooh this has been on my wishlist for awhile. I finally get to try it (a frimp from the lab). In the imp, it smells gorgeous. I smell mint & flowers. On me..... ehhh it goes a bit weird. I think the violet smells weird on me but I can pick up on the neroli and that smells really good. Errr, that darn violet! I'll keep it around for the summer though.
-
Belladonna: Wow, the oil is kinda greenish... looks cool! In the imp, I smell something leafy and minty.... eucalyptus, pine, & wood. On me, yah I get the vaporub thing goin on. I kinda like it though, I wouldn't wear it as a perfume ....... I think I might layer this with Baku. It's very herbally & medicinal.

Manhattan In the bottle, I smell ambery lemon and tea. On me, wow this is a really polished blend. The notes bloom with time and thankfully the leather isn't alllll up in my face. The orchid, grapefruit, and teakwood in this blend really stand out but blend really nicely. Over time, the amber softens it up. The other notes are a little harder for me to pick out.... but overall, I likes it..... it reminds me of a grown up and sophisticated Carnaval Diabolique.
-
Jazz Funeral: In the imp, earthy & mossy. On me, I get alot of dirt and moss at first. It reminds me of Destroying Angel when its wet. After awhile, it becomes a bit flowery with an itsy bitsy hint of booze. It's a nice flowers and dirt smell...... it just ain't my thang.
-
Le Serpent Qui Danse: In the imp, violet and gardenia. On me.... whoa that's one pungent gardenia! Violet intermingles soon after. It mellows out during the drydown with vanilla softening it up. I kinda like it... don't need a whole bottle of it though.
-
White Rabbit: In the vial:milk, honey, ginger and vanilla On me... plastic milk and honey Heh, dunno which note is screwy but somethin's off.
-
Hymn to Proserpine: In the imp, warm fruit & amber. On me........ I've smelled this somewhere before! It's really familiar but I can't put my finger on it! I get amber, musk, and just ripe fruits like berries and what I think is pomegranate. It's a very warm and sweet smell with average throw. I like it... don't love it.... but I can see it growing on me.
